After some rest at the home of the one that had done his branding mark Incanthis was on his way back to where he'd been staying with Abie, Issaly, and their many, many beasts. He'd left a note telling everyone that he'd be back 'later in the afternoon' but nothing specific. Where he was going was something that he felt he had to do on his own, it was a final step in releasing himself from the hold that Oba and those within it held over him. He felt that he was finally free to go home now. There was only one thing now that he felt that he really wanted to do. A small regret that he felt that he'd missed out on and was constantly making poor Abie miss out on. A thought that made his cheeks color a bit before he lifting his hands to wave them in front of his face, fanning himself, and trying to chase the thought off. That wasn't the first thing that was going to come out of his mouth when he got back to where Abie was waiting, that would be far too embarrassing! Not to mention that his brother was likely there and that would make it even worse if he was. Such things could wait. What he wanted to do first was to show Abie his shoulder and the new mark that now lay there upon in the place of the mark Muata had once put on him. The one he had now was... beautiful. To the point that even someone as shy as Incanthis was wanted to show it off.

Abie hummed as he fixed the side of their wagon. Looking back as Issaly napped with the beasts all around him. The elder chuckled as he looked back towards where Incanthis went into town. He took up a perch on a bench as he waited for his healer to return to him. His mind wandering the way it often does, he wanted Incanthis in all forms. Heart, mind...soul...body---NOPE. He shook his head as he cleared his thoughts of that sort. It wouldn't do for him to let things rile him up. That was just awkward. Who knows what his former masters used him for...Abie groaned as he let his head fall between his knees. There was that insecurity again. What if Incanthis compared him to them? What if he was going to be seen as a little kid his whole life?

Incanthis found himself approaching as Abie sat there on a bench, head in his hands, looking oddly... defeated. Was he alright? Was someone messing with him? If so he hoped that whoever it was had gotten nipped by a snaptrotter or two... or three. Walking over to where he was sitting he settled down next to him, moving his long braid so it wouldn't be in the way, before he leaned into him. It was strange how exhausted one could feel after what he'd just gone through. So simple a thing and yet so tiring. Letting his eyes sink shut he rested his head on Abie's shoulder and murmured, "Sorry I took so long. I was only planning on a walk but then I ran across something, well someone, interesting and quite helpful."

Abie blinked then turned his head to look at Incanthis. He smiled at the other. "Oh?" he shifted to gently drape his arm around his healer. Bringing Incanthis closer to his side. "Who'd you meet?" the youth pressed a kiss to Incanthis' temple. Glad to have the other's warmth back at his side.

Incanthis seemed to think about how to explain before he explained, "An artist of sorts. He specializes in branding marks, not for any devious purposes but instead to decorate ones body in a manner different from just tattoos." He thought on it for a moment more, one hand lifting to hover about his shoulder where the now renewed marking lay. He sat up a bit, looking at Abie, then said, "I'd like to show you what he helped me to change. If you don't mind looking that is..." He didn't want to force anything upon Abie so he felt that he should really ask first, huh? Especially since Abie wasn't there for the changing of his mark. He could only hope he wouldn't get upset that it was something that he'd done without him. He just felt at the time that he had to be brave and face his fear, see the final chain holding him in place in Oba broken.

Abie blinked as he looked at the other. Nodding in his excitement. "Of course!" he knew of only one brand on his healer. One that he wanted to see gone in some manner. Incanthis choosing to do this on his own was fine. It was his past to face, Abie smiled as he touched his own tattoos to cover his scars. "I would love to see what it's become."

Incanthis gave a smile, leaning against Abie again, "I want to show you but... not here. I don't much like the thought of undressing out in public. That is just embarrassing." That and he didn't want just anyone to see him sans clothing. The only one he trusted with such a thing outside of the artist that had done the branding would likely be Abie. Issaly too, perhaps? Though he didn't really know about showing the flower to him, just because he might have to explain why it was such a big deal. Giving a little shake of his head against Abie's shoulder he said, "Maybe I can show you a little later? When we are at the inn if that works?" Settling down at an inn was always interesting since they needed one that had a stable. It had to be a big stable too, one that could keep all of their snaptrotters comfortably. Only the best for their babies.

Un-undressing?!? Abie had the grace to blush at the other's words before he blinked while nodding. "R-right...sorry." He smiled warmly as he pulled Incanthis into his chest. "Mhm, at the Inn. We're close to the drop off point for Issaly." he muttered into silver hair. He enjoyed moments like these. He glanced to the side where their Snaptrotters were. It seemed like the small group were keeping the tinier ones busy. He let Incanthis go to stroke the side of the healers face. "Love you." he whispered. Almost scared of the words themselves.

Incanthis gave a smile, "I... sorry, I'm saying embarrassing things... I mean I didn't do anything weird or anything. It would just be me taking off my shirt, not the rest of it..." He flushed for as he turned his head, trying to hide his face against Abie's shoulder in an embarrassed manner. He hadn't meant to imply anything weird... was that weird though? Was it somethign that would bother Abie? His thoughts started to chase themselves in circles like snaptrotters chasing their tails and he had to shake his head to clear said thoughts. "Ahh..." He sat up a bit, starring at Abie, then flushed even more darkly, "Ahh... I-I love you too, Abie." He said shyly before he hide his face again, daring to kiss Abie's shoulder this time as he did so. Incanthis was the exact opposite of brave so doing such daring things took everything he had... and had him all but holding his breath as he waited for a reaction.

Abie chuckled at the other's shy reactions. Truly his healer was always full of surprises. He hummed as he shifted to keep the other against his chest. "It always warms my heart to hear that Incanthis." he nuzzled the others hair. "Really." He couldn't wait for them to get to the Inn. "Are you ready? The Inn isn't that far off..." he looked to where the next Inn was. "I really wanna get them settled...and see your shoulder." he winked at his healer.

Incanthis sat up right, his eyes going a bit wide, "Huh? R-Ready for what?" He asked, his mind racing to something that he'd been thinking about earlier and found himself getting instantly flustered. Was Abie thinking about that too now? Was his mention of undressing, or at least taking off his top, putting those sorts of thoughts in his head? Did Abie think about that sort of thing? Surely he did if Incanthis did, right? "O-Oh! Yes, of course." He said when Abie explained what he meant, which wasn't what he was thinking that Abie was thinking. Pushing himself to his feet he said, "Yeah, let's get our babies settled in. I want to make sure they're comfortable and that the stables are big enough for them."

'Our babies' those words meant everything to him. He chuckled. "Yes." as they walked into the Inn, with the proper stables he got them two rooms. One for Issaly and his smaller beasts. The other for them. Mostly because he wanted to snuggle with Incanthis for more than was proper. He leaned in to mutter to his healer. "There's something I want to talk to you about...something, personal."

Incanthis looked into the stalls that the snaptrotters were going to be staying in, making sure that they were big enough that the bigger snaptrotters could move around easily. He also make sure that the little ones had no way of escaping the room they would be staying in, especially since the green baby with the twisted leg was a bit of an escape artist. They had to make sure there were no chances at all that he had even the slightest chance. Once he was done searching everything he allowed their snaptrotters to go into their respective stalls and room, leaving them to get comfortable. Once once he was sure everything was alright his attention was then turned to Abie, "Hm? S-Something personal? Ahh... alright." What was it that he was thinking about? He couldn't help but to worry a bit, his heart instantly setting to thudding in his chest as he followed Abie to the room they would be sharing for the night.

Abie smiled as he bid Issaly a good night before sitting Incanthis down on the edge of the bed. With a smile he knelled in front of the other. "Are you okay with us going to the next step?" he blinked. "That came out odd..." he sat back on his heels. He thought about it for a few seconds. "Are you okay with us sharing a bed?" he tilted his head. He felt really awkward about this now...great. He blushed as he looked to the ground.

Incanthis settled down at the on the edge of the bed, watching as Abie came to kneel down in front of him. He found himself flushing a bit, mind racing. What was he thinking about? Talking about? A moment later he mentioned them 'going to the next step' and he tilted his head to one side, "Huh?" Reaching out a hand he ran his fingers through Abie's hair, a curious look on his face. Didn't they already do that? Or was he thinking about something else? His cheeks set to burning as his mind started to wander in various directions and he grasped his hands together in his lap, trying to get racing emotions under control, "I... ahh... well, we do share a bed, Abie." He murmured in a cautious manner, just in case that was all that Abie meant. He wanted to be careful here since he knew they'd both been hurt in the past. There was no need to rush anything... but at the same time it had been some time since they'd first met, hadn't it? Feelings hadn't developed right away since Incanthis belonged to someone else at the time but this had changed drastically since then and Incanthis felt more open to many more things these days.
