Talria hummed as she walked around the medical area of the market place. She was nearly ready for leaving for the mainland. Nearly there. With a long sigh the female pulled the strap keeping her hair up, letting it fall in its fluffy layers. The female stretched as she looked around.

Tadeos gave a bit of a sigh as he walked along, his icy blue eyes on his list. He hadn't been planning on going out today, wanting to spend the day shadowing Doctor Forthus, but that wasn't meant to be. Instead he was given a list of things to buy at the marketplace that included sewing supplies. It seemed that the doctor meant for him to learn to sew, something that would help him to do straight, even, and very neat stitches later. A good idea since he wouldn't want to leave crooked stitches on a patient. He just couldn't let his sister know or she wouldn't let him live it down.

The overly tall Tadeos, standing a good head above a lot of those in the marketplace, walked onward, ignoring the looks he was getting. There were those in the area that knew him well from his more wild days and some of them didn't really believe that he was trying to clean up his act. He just had to prove to them that he was serious is all. Once he acheived his goal, once he became a real doctor, then they would know that he meant to be more then he'd been before.

Now, where to begin he thought to himself, checking the list again, before he started toward the first booth he needed to go. He'd get everything on the list save for the cloth, leaving it for last. Last thing he wanted was to carry it around for long where people could see him, not wanting to deal with the bother.

Talria was sitting by a booth as she tried to tame her hair. She was chatting with the merchant off and on, glancing around before slowly looking at the overly tall male. Gaien...she's never seen someone that tall before. The female found her voice after a few moments, Pai sitting in her lap looked up to the big male. Trilling out to get the male's attention. Talria squeaked before she hushed the beast.

"Oi, you..." she growled then glanced to the male. Did Pai get his attention? He would certainly be a interesting fellow that was for sure. She chuckled as she thought that you certainly could find a whole matter of people in the marketplace.

The odd trilling of a creature that he knew well enough wasn't quite enough to get Tadeos's attention, mostly because he really didn't think that the creature was trying to. It was more the girl's voice saying 'Oi, you' that did. Turning his head he asked, "What is it?" Before he realized that she seemed to be talking to her pet, perhaps? It was something that caused his cheeks to color ever so slightly and he turned his head back to his list.

Ugh, maybe she hadn't heard him? Maybe he would get lucky and could just continue on with his shopping? This was something he'd never mention to his sister as she'd likely find his slip up amusing.

Sadly for him, no such luck. Talria's head perked up and she blushed as she shook her head. "Ah...sorry, not you...this brat." she tapped the head of the Averi in her lap before looking back up to the male. Height never intimidated her before, why start now? She hopped off her stool to stand next to the male, her hair was held half way back. "Hi! I'm Talria..." she smiled up at him. "The brat here is Pai."

Pai skittered up to her head, trilling at the male again. Stretching out for a pet. Talria rolled her eyes.

Giving a sharp nod he said, "I... sort of figured when I looked your way." He said, none too happy with himself for making such a mistake. He had to be really impeccable when it came to details given the life that he had planned out for himself. A thought that he put aside for the moment as the Lightning girl set to introducing herself and her pet, something told him he would need to do the same.

"My name is Tadeos." He had to remain open and polite, someone that anyone could talk to. It was a bit difficult when all he wanted to do was fetch the stuff on his list so he could head back but he'd do so. A doctor couldn't seem too removed from those he wanted to serve or else they would seek out a different healer instead. He didn't want to risk chasing off potential patients as he was sure Doctor Forthus would be quite displeased.

Talria smiled up to the male. "Its nice to meet you." Pai jumped from her shoulder to the bigger male's. The female squeaked as she reached for the beast. "Oh goodness, Pai. What do you think your doing?!?"

The tiny beast huffed at her before scampering over to his other shoulder. Talria rubbed her temple before sighing. "So, since he doesn't seem to want to part with you just yet...did you need any help?" she offered since her beast was being a burden to the other male.

Tadeos found himself starring at the creature that was using him as a perch, then turned to study the girl before him. There was a long moment where he found himself wondering if this was another of Tyr's set ups. There was that girl back in the clinic a few days ago so he'd thought since it didn't work out that Tyr would give it a rest for a while. Was she back at her attempts at matchmaking already? If so it would be a new record, two women in one week.

Lifting a hand to rub at his temples he said, "If my sister sent you I'm going to tell you the same thing I tell everyone she sends, I'm not interested." He hated appearing rude but he had better things to do then get messed with by potential girlfriends that his twin had picked out for him.

Talria quirked an eyebrow at the male. "Then this is about to get a whole new level of awkward when I tell you that I didn't know you had a sister. Let alone one that was trying to be matchmaker. I'm just the granddaughter of a guy who likes to be on good terms with merchants."

She couldn't help the smirk that started to grow. "Though, with a sister like that I don't blame you for warning me off ahead of time. Good to know that you at least have standards." she chuckled into her hand. Pai chattering on his shoulder. He was lucky that she didn't react negatively. "Fair warning, however. You won't make many friends if your suspicious of everyone." she tapped his chest. "Now, I repeat...did you need help carrying anything?" she liked helping people.

Tadeos starred at her for a long moment, seemingly sizing her up. She said that it wasn't the reason why she was approaching him, instead she was just trying to be helpful. He wanted to believe it too. Surely his sister wasn't out there propositioning every last woman on Belrea, was she? He gave a little sigh, certain she would do just that if she were able. After a bit of thought he finally said, "Sorry. I am too used to my twin trying to hook me up with everyone woman she comes across and half the men."

"Yeah... her name is Tyrithian, she looks like a female version of me with shorter hair. If she approaches you know that she might be trying to get the two of us married." He said, lifting a hand to rub his temples. It was as though she had forgotten how old they were he thought to himself. Giving a nod he said, "I wouldn't mind a bit of help. I want to get back to the clinic to resume my studies but have so much I need to pick up before I can."

Talria nodded. "I'll keep that in mind. She sounds like a interesting person that's for sure." with a giggle she nodded to the bigger male. "Well, I'm up for following your lead when your up for it."

She rocked on her feet before tilting her head to the other youth. "So...Doctor...are you training to be a healer?" she thought that was pretty cool if he was. Would be interesting for sure.

"Interesting. Yeah, that is a good way to describe my sister." He said, giving a little nod of agreement. He gave a glance around, making sure that she wasn't nearby or watching since those might be fighting words. Upon not seeing her right away he turned back to the Lightning woman again, "Alright. Will do." He moved forward, starting to lead the way to where he could begin this shopping trip.

As she asked him about his training he gave a slight jump then started to look around again. After a moment he nodded his head, "I... am. It's the not the training I should be doing but it's the training I want to do." How he meant to explain it to his mother was the real question. One that he would face later since it wasn't as though he or his sister saw her all that often. It was pretty easy to avoid letting her know what it was that he was up to during the day because she was so busy with her own work. Something that made his life a lot easier.

"Training for what you want..." Talria smiled as her head tilted to one side. "That's good. You do things for yourself." She hummed lightly as Pai trilled alongside her tune. "I'm going to achieve the dream my Gramps can't...thing is he's gotten too old and can't work the way he wants."

She tapped Retort on her back. Something that stood out once someone saw it. She looked to the male. He was certainly a catch for those who knew what to look for. Talria mentally shook her head, thinking like that didn't really suit her at this moment. Finding allies was a better idea. She stretched her arms out above her head.

He gave a slow nod, "Yes. Not the sector I was meant for and... not something I've explained to my mother but... what I want to do." He said slowly, not liking that he was sneaking around in a sense but he'd yet to figure out how he could tell his mother that he wouldn't be following in her footsteps like was tradition. Not to mention his sister was doing the same, wanting to follow her own path as well.

Giving the gun she motioned to a glance he found himself wondering what it was that she meant by acheiving a dream of her 'Gramps'. What was the dream? He found a bit curious but at the same time worried. What if she was planning to use that gun for something dangerous? Something that would involve Doctor Forthus and himself having to deal with gun shot wounds. Here was to hoping that wasn't what she was after he thought to himself as he walked along, turning his icy blue eyes to scanning the booths for what he was looking for.

"Ah! Here we go." He needed surgical grade thread for stitches as well as regular thread for practice and it seemed one booth might have both.

Talria looked over the stall as her new friend did what he needed to. She tilted her head as she thought about it. Going beyond your sector was a awfully brave thing to do. You'd have to go outside of your family to get answers to the common questions. Not to mention that you'd most likely get cut out of your family---she stopped that line of thought. Unlike most who had siblings to fall back on. Fellow rebels against the tide of their elders. She had no one. She shuddered to think if she ever crossed her elders. She chuckled softly. "That's rather brave of you."

She looked around the stall itself. A few new things of thread would help her. She had clothes to mend after all.
