It’s been about a week after the grim invasion. The grim has been forced back to the borders. Repairs are still being done as best as one can. The Mistral Emergency Institute of Survival (MEIS) has been established for an expedited training of civilian and warriors from any higher level huntsmen in order to be prepared for the next threat. There have been reports of several pools being spawned around the Kingdom and many more seem to appear everyday. The local huntsmen that survive are taking care of them, but there isn’t a definite amount of time given that the huntsmen can control the streets of Mistral before needing reinforcements. Hearing the call, you are gathered or sent to MEIS. At the moment, the gates appear to be locked but there are people gathering in front of the building. The building looks like a common high school.

Reseda had been in Mistral almost a year now, and those months were moments of peace. The rumors that rarely made it to her village were true, however, peace wasn't forever. She enjoyed it for the time it lasted, but when the grimm finally came, let's just say, this young faunus was not caught off guard. Trained to defend herself from a young age she was quick to get into action, but she knew here limitations. Reseda focused on helping civillians get to safety, taking out the occasional grimm that came for them. She was no where near as skilled as the huntsman who were out in the front of the line, but even the smallest of help could make a difference in a situation like this.

A week had past since then and now she was here, standing in front of the MEIS entrance. Apparently, someone had taken notice of her aid during the invasion and she had been formally invited to further her training. When first hearing the invitation, Reseda was hesitant to accept, for personal and perhaps even selfish reasons. Yet, deep down, she knew she couldn't deny. If she could help protect those who could not fight themselves it was her duty. Perhaps the way she was raised was to blame.

She wasn't the first to arrive, nor did she think she would be the last. There was just one problem, the gates were closed. Had they gotten there too early? Unsure of the answer, she did the only thing she could do, wait. As she would stand there, she would quietly observe others in the area trying to read what sort of skill set they had.

OOC: wooo first post. Kind of lame, but someone had to start first xP

The time before the fall was a time of peace and leasure everyday she would wake up the sun shining, making breakfast and just relaxing. However all that changed when the Grimm invaded. All that training when she was sent to the front lines to fend off the invading Grimm, now here is she, however the gates are closed? maybe they arent ready yet, or maybe they are waiting for more people. All she knows is that something better happen soon, before more Grimm come.

A week, a simple week. This was the case for them, to prepare, to fend themselves off against the incoming threat of more grim. In her burning purple eyes, she stared at MEIS. This, for now, was their place of residence. Two of them, a child and a woman staring at a school, or a camp, or whatever the difference between the two. She stood, hands folded, dress tart and a carrying case in her hand. She spun the case, rolled her eyes and sighed, looking to the boy that stood next to her. "Don't get engrossed in these young women you hear me? Love will only make you weak, and you know what weakness does..." Her worlds cold and sharp. One would think that she was his mother the way she scolded him, but the two weren't the same. They didn't look alike, except for the probable scowl they might both have on their face. She fixed the beret atop her golden hair and looked to the two who had already made it to the school before them. Two other females, children, barley fit for war. It was a judgement, more so on one of them. One looked like a child, the other looked fit to fight, but they were still young. They should be bearing children, avoiding the world, but that was foolish thoughts in her old mind. "But I guess enjoy yourself" She scoffed. "We will be touring this place...It's all we have for now." She stated with folded arms and clacking heels. They began their walk towards the others, she waiting for his response. He wondered what the others would have to say, or even react. She cared not, this was their starting ground.

Sorrow. Dread. Regret. These emotions swirled inside of the caramel colored warrior. His eyes did not have the same fire as before. His life did not have the same meaning. Hades never thought he would be in this kind of position. Having his family ripped from him. Being the cause of his sister's death. Bad luck seems to always follow the poor boy. The bad luck was not because of a semblance, but because of his bad choices. Maybe that is the truth. Or maybe, there was an alternative motive behind the way the universe worked. His sword would rest on his left hip, rocking in an interlocking dance with the sheath. Yet, on the side of his thighs like a ninja pouch, lay two daggers, hot pink in color. He had two weapons? But how? That was a mystery. However, the answer lay comfortably in the details.

Arriving upon the MEIS entrance, he would see that a few others were already there, but the gate was locked. The instructors probably were finishing up some last minute tasks. He still remembered the invasion. Peace was all he knew. Training back at Atlas wasn't so hard. In essence, his parents were more hard on him in training than the training schools around the kingdom. However, there were still things meant for him to learn. He could of easily been taught those things too, if they were still alive. But that is what happens when an unforeseen grim attack occurs. People fight. People die. But who was to blame for all of this? What does the future hold? Hades truly didn't know. Looking at the daggers, his hand gently brushed up against the sealed beauties, causing him to shake.

He couldn't even touch them without shaking. The blades bringing back memories of is sister's death. Sighing, he noticed that he was breathing heavily, his body tense and the hairs on the back of his neck at attention. His eyes would open and he would notice he was now in the sight of two huntsmen. Or huntswomen? He wouldn't say anything. He would stand there for a few seconds before making his way out of their line of sight. Hades...Get a grip

Time passed slowly for the goat faunus, her tail twitching just slightly on impatiently underneath her green cloak. Her thoughts wondered like wildfire from one memory to another, oh how she wished something would happen. After a bit her mind came to a sudden standstill, was she in the wrong location? For a second she panicked as she quickly looked up at the gate for the millionth time and relaxed seeing four letters in the distance. As Reseda released a sigh her ears picked up the sound of footsteps. Excited that someone new was arriving she watched them with wide eyes, taking in every detail. The person was female in gender with long black hair apparently almost reaching her feet. This observation puzzled the young faunus, as she couldn’t see a way of properly fighting with so much hair. Would it not just get in ones way and get cut? Not to mention it probably took a lot more maintenance then her own ragged short brown hair. Anxiously biting her lower lip she was fighting an internal battle, to speak or not speak to the newcomer.

Before Reseda could make up her mind, which she was going at for quite some time, two more people came to the gate. This finally took her mind off the dark haired girl and she focused on observing them for a moment. Her first impression of them was a positive “approach at your own caution”. At least she wouldn’t have to debate greeting them. The group from her guess was an older woman with a younger male. Siblings? The way they interacted did give her the impression they were close. Despite their unfriendly facial expressions, the fact they had one another made her wish she actually had a friend in this continent. Everyone she knew she had left behind. Perhaps she will make some great connections while improving herself a MEIS. Only time would tell.

Returning her focus back on the one to arrive before the two sour patch kids she went back to her previous dilemma, to mingle or not to mingle. Making up her mind, Reseda forced herself to finally move, slowly inching her way towards the black Rapunzel. After a couple of steps, she began to question her decision and stopped. This waiting really was driving her nuts. She needed to be doing something productive quick. She could of course play her instrument, but with all these people listening she felt a bit judged…

To caught up in her own growing “insanity” she failed to notice the newest arrival, a male who like her seemed to be caught in his own world, though for different reasons. As a means to burn some of the energy building up inside her she began to fidget in the crowd until she finally snapped. Falling into one of her worst habits she grabbed the thing, or rather person in this case, nearest to her and heavily headbutted Hades while loudly uttering. ”Will something pleeeeeese happen already!” It took the goat faunus a few decent moments after speaking to notice what she had grabbed, and what she had done. Jaw dropping, her hands opened up letting go of him just as suddenly as she had grabbed him. ”Oh! I’m so so sorry! I don’t know what happened! It’s such a bad habit of mine! I swear I thought you were a wall, I mean you were so quiet I didn’t really hear ya!” She began to say towards him at a fast and flustered pace.

[ Disgusting. These words cross the man’s mind as he approaches the gateway leading to his supposed new place of residency. He didn’t want to be here, but for now he doesn’t have much of a choice in the matter. Standing next to him is a beautiful woman who looks as if she could be a model or celebrity of some sort. Definitely doesn’t look as though she should be wasting time here at the front entrance to a glorified military base. With a sigh, the man crouches in the typical bad boy yankee posture he loves so much. His skateboard rests strapped to his back while his headphones play a pretty funky tune around his neck. Wave’s scowling eyes survey the surroundings, taking note of the people babbling around like sheep, waiting to be let into their pens to escape the big bad wolves. With a snide click of his tongue he turns his head away, utterly repulsed by the sight. In that moment the woman next to him starts to speak up, warning him of the dangers that come with women and love. “No need to worry ‘bout that, sis. I couldn’t give a rat’s a** about these bubbly broads.” he finishes, assuring her that he has absolutely no interest in a relationship right now. “Long as I got you, the rest doesn’t matter.” With that he heeds the woman’s interest in touring the campus. Maybe this would give them a good chance to look around and see exactly what they have to work with in the large facility. Information like this is vital to the future after all. In one quick motion he stands tall and unstraps his skateboard, dropping it before his feet. After stepping on he pockets his hands and looks over to the lady. “Whenever you’re ready…” ]

Walking towards the front of the gates she could see some people had started to gather at the gates, she walked up and would look around as she scanned the different types of people before her. Many of them looked like they had been through hell and back while some looked like her, new. Although she had some experience and that was meeting grimms up front and living to tell the tale, but she came to this academy so she could learn how to fight against them and kill them as well. She then slowly walked up closer to the group of people before her but wouldn't talk with them instead she walked a bit of ways away from them and leaned her back against the wall near the gate as she remained silent looked continue to scan each individual, mainly to check them out or observe how they speak, and act. On her visor showed, ". . . " As she was just being silent and minding her own business waiting for the gates to open and her training to begin.

The noise, almost audible, a sudden jerking motion came over Hades and would soon feel a major sharp pain come over his head, feeling close to a concussion coming over him because of something hitting his head. But what? Who ? Why? He was so out of it he wasn't even paying attention. Falling to the ground, he wasn't completely knocked out. Instead, he was on the ground trying to rationalize what the ******** just happened. His eyes dim as he was starting to lose his sense of direction and location. After a few moments, he would sit up, rubbing his head as he would search furiously around to find who it was that did it. The flustered ball of sorry and grief gave it away. "What the hell? What would make you want to headbutt someone? Why would it even be a habit? WHAT KIND OF HABIT IS THAT?" there was many questions that needed answers. Sitting up and resting like an emo edge lord, he would rub his head again. The light headed boy felt extremely fatigued and the light was bothering him heavily. Grabbing Reseda, he would use her to block the sun. "<******** hell. that's painful"

Against the gate of the MEIS entrance Lieh was on the ground, leaning against the wall and legs propped, napping peacefully. Her uncle had brought her here, but he left to go and be out with other experienced hunters and huntresses, so at the moment she had no idea where he was. When he brought her she, or anyone normally, would show signs of worry or confusion- but Lieh only stared at him with the same monotonous stare she viewed the world with. The last words she said to him before he left was 'Alright...' then nothing. She didn't really voice her opinion about coming here, but she trusted his judgement in doing so, but she had little interest at the moment. When she saw the gate closed she had just shrugged it off and fell into the position she was in now.

Her body finally showed signs of movement after sitting down an hour ago and dozing off, her shoulders shrugging slightly to adjust against the wall. The headphones blocked most of the noise of other arrivals to the gate, but she could feel that others were there, and some noise was making its way in. After a rather loud vocalization Lieh slowly opened her teal eyes, not feeling any sense of real urgency. She saw a girl apologizing,
'What is she doing...?' Her lids felt heavy and wanted to shut again, but her eyes met a boy with a skateboard crouching on the ground like someone ready for a fight, 'What's with him...' Despite her thoughts she knew she was guilty of those kind of glares a lot of the time she interacted with others. Even now her tired teal eyes had stagnated to a stop and her glare was fixed on him and the woman standing with him, maybe they were partners? She really just wanted to get inside and go back to sleep...

A armored figure was looking at the gates from a good distance, he knew other people would be gathering right about now and he wasn't a big fan of large groups so he figured staying back would be for the best. For everyone, he had his hood up over his head and his bright green eyes lit up as he looked at everyone who was already here. Although, seeing the people here he had to take a deep breath. He could already tell that the people here would have some overwhelming personallities. "Well, at least I can tell...Did she just headbutt that guy?" He blinked a few times, before taking another breath and raising a eyebrow before thinking to himself. 'Those two, are definetly the two with the stronger personallities. Making a mental note on that....Shes scary....People are scary.' Suddenly he found himself face palming as his own paranoia overwhelmed his mind, after finally seeing the way people treated him outside of his hometown it made him paranoid. Everyone seemed way to nice, but then again he was used to living in area where Humans were a bit despised. 'Just relax Medori, mom is probably scarier than anyone here....Okay definetly is. '

Finally gathering his courage to hooded male decided to walk forward, he had his weapon on his back holstered and honestly it looked like a Ordinary sword for the most part. The only thing that even remotely made it stand out was the Green Orb in the center of it. He looked up at the lock Gate now, doing his best not to bring any attention to himself while finding a decent enough spot to wait things out. He decided to shut his eyes and sniff the air, as if trying to get a feel for his surrondings. It wasnt like he hadnt been in areas like these before, but once he got this places...'Scent' it would make it easier for his sense of direction not to screw him over sometime in the future. Getting lost in the forests is one thing, but getting lost in a town with large numbers of people...Well, thats just idiotic when Grimm could be lurking around every corner!

Thoughts: People with strong personallities...Make me weak....Scary...
Location: Front Gates,
Mood: Nervous
Status: Currently at Full Health,Physically at least.

Oblivious to the occurrences of the world below a brown tabby cat, with white markings, napped in the safety of the wall to the right side of the gate. Despite appearing to be in a deep slumber for no movement was seen from this tuff of fur for quite some time, the animal heard everything, from the faintest footstep to the smallest whisper. From the things he could hear nothing worthy of his notice had yet to take place. So, for now he would remain in the curled comfort of the rays of warmth from above.

Everything remained peaceful for him to nap with leisure until a cry of annoyance pierced the depth of his inner ear. With a twitch in both ears the slits of his eyes opened just in time to see the headbutt. Eyes wide with pupils in full dilation he watched with mild curiosity, slightly wondering what he missed that lead to the drastic action. From the dazed response of the victim he quickly concluded that he hadn’t done anything to deserve it. Focus drifting to the rest of the crowd he quickly realized that it had grown quite a bit in numbers since he began sleeping.

Yawning his jaws opened revealing every sharp tooth in his possession. Getting up on all four of his paws his awakening stretches continued by arching his back and fully stretching his front paws, consequently sticking his rear high up in the air. Taking a step forward he extended his front left leg and his right back one, then with the next step repeated the stretch but with the opposite limbs. Process complete it was time to leave the sanctuary that was the wall. Lowering the front of his body he slowly dropped himself over the edge with his front paws far past his head to control and steady every movement. Once the only thing left on the top of the wall were his hind legs there was nothing left to do but let his body drop to the ground below. Landing with the front paws first he let out a low grunt as those two paws took the full force of the fall and shortly after the back ones followed.

Strutting away from the area he had landed he paid no heed to wither anyone had noticed him, for he was focused on the target he had selected shortly before landing. Silently sitting a few feet behind the girl, his head tilted watching her surprisingly long hair sway with every movement and every smallest gust of wind. Lowering his body, his legs almost seemed to disappear underneath his fluff. Rear wiggling ever so slightly, he watched the hair with his full focus, the wide look in his eyes was the dead giveaway to what he was going to do next. With a strong push of his hind legs leapt forward ending the distance between them and began pawing at the ends of her black hair with his front paws.

It seemed maybe today with the right moment to show up. Wave was up, he seemed ready to go, to get into the nit and grit. While young, he wasn't oblivious, something she could respect. His attire, his way of talking, everything is laid back, but she cannot replicate this. She is always thinking, buzzing, doing something here and there. She wishes she knew what it was to be that way, but she knows in some sense, this is Wave's facade. To be called sis is always a rarity, an oddity. He knows what she is to him and yet she doesn't feel like family...anymore. More arrive, and commotion happens. One student decides it be best to headbutt another. She watches, scoffing, then bursting into laughter. This is a laughter she hasn't known in quite some time. To Wave, this might be scary, and she even sheds a tear. She wipes the tear, and pauses. "Then maybe she's interesting..." She states with another set of laughs. "The violent types you know?" She says, looking to the sky again. She lets the laughs die down and then steps more to the side, just enough to watch the people but only be heard if more people come closer to her. "I hope you understand we'll be here more or less, then spread out. We have business in many areas." She pauses, then looks to some students. "We'll probably be leaving to explore the outside area. This place is going to be cramped soon." She says as she looks to the group of students gathering. "You may stay, but I know I will be going" She says with a flip of her hair. She knows it is best for him to interact with the other students, not her. It looks weird, and feels weird. The more children she sees, the more she has to force herself not to remember. It doesn't matter. "I wonder where Slyvian is..." She murmurs, watching, waiting.

Oh, how embarrassing this was. Here Reseda had been hoping to keep this nasty tick of hers on the downlow until starting to fit in. Now that everyone had seen what she did to the poor boy, she felt for sure no one would dare want to be friends with her. Standing in front of him Reseda did her best to answer his questions. ”Sorry!.... I… Well… Um… It’s….” She would try to begin to explain but he just kept adding to the questions. She was starting to feel a bit exasperating in trying to justify such a shameful action. Her hands fluttered about in the air as she was trying to speak. When he grabbed a hold of her she feared for a moment he may get back at her. Eyes wide she braced for the worse, but she had merely exaggerated. All he had done was move her a few degrees to the right. It would seem she had just become his official sun blocker. Honestly it was perhaps the least she could do considering what she had done to him. She smiled sheepishly. ”He..he…. I’ve been told I’m quite hard-headed…” Reseda muttered a bit shyly as she did something without thinking again and patted the top of his hair, though very gently. ” There, there. It’ll pass…” Just as those words left her mouth, her own forehead began to throb. Her free hand moved to rub the slightly red spot.

For a moment she stayed quiet before noticing she still had her hand on his head. Embarrassed she drew it back quickly and decided to finally answer him. After all he deserved it. ”I don’t know why…. To be honest,” Reseda began to explain while poking her index fingers together. ”It… is… complicated… hm…. Best thing I can say is it’s like some tick, an urge that just sometimes appears.” The goat faunus continued. After a second of silence her right index finger popped into the air next to her head. ”Oh!” Apparently something deep may have come to mind. Turning around she moved her green cloak slightly to the side revealing a brown tail. ”It’s a …. Goat thing….” She stated shyly hoping that maybe it would make sense to him. Turning back to face him she braced herself for the worst.
