tab tab tab tab tab โณ As a Fox Shifter, Reynardโs preference is to shift into his base form of a Black Fox. Once shifted, his already sensitive senses become even more heightened. Quick and agile, Reynard has the speed of a fox โ at his fasted, he can run up to 30 mph, but only for short distances. Like any animal, he can only run and fight for so long before needing to rest and โrechargeโ. His diet is mainly protein based, needing lots of meat to maintain his high energy levels.
In his Fox form, his teeth and claws can be lethal. While he doesnโt have the strength of a wolf shifter, his bite can do damage if inflicted on the right area of the body. Preferring to fight in his human form using his blades, Reynard uses his fox form to hunt and track or escape situations with his speed and agility.

๐๐ฒ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ป๐ช๐น๐ฑ๐โณ Born into a family of fox shifters, Reynard had no doubt in his mind who or what he would grow up to be. His mother, a Red Fox, gave him his fiery red hair and striking emerald eyes, while his father, a Black Fox, gave him his distinctly dark ears and tail, as well as his physique.
Like many shifter children, Reynard spent his childhood playing in the wilderness, harnessing his sensitive senses and learning the land. Tracking and hunting are essential skills for any predator and Reynard learned early on how to catch his own food.
His father, a warrior by trade, taught his son how to fight from an early, tender age. Fascinated by his fatherโs skills with blades, Reynard took to fighting with an eager air and easy grace. Like his father, he was a natural with a blade and soon found he preferred katanas over smaller blades โ although he was naturally talented with them as well.
After Reynard came of age, he joined the Valor Military to help fight against Trendel. However, it was only a few years after he joined that peace was declared. Although he had only been a part of the military for a short time, heโd proven his prowess on the battle field and had proven to be a natural born leader. To ensure that Eoana was kept safe, Reynard volunteered to move from his home country to Eoana to become a part of the city guard. While he did fight in the war, he holds no grudges against anyone from Trendel. His open mindedness and devotion to the City Guard didnโt go unnoticed, and thus it wasnโt long before he was promoted up the ranks to become the Guard Captain, a position which he currently holds.

With the recent chaos in his personal and professional life, Reynard has not gained any new skills as far as his Raiment is concerned.

Interactions/Development Points:
Plot Point 1: Reynard and Diane have continued to work together to protect the city from their unknown enemy. Diane has continued to offer Reynard support in light of his recent loss. Reynard considers her a colleague and a friend.
Plot Point 2: Upon participating in a grappling contest with Dianeโs men, Reynard emerged victorious and secured a future date with the General, much to her menโs delight. Although he doesnโt feel like he is ready to pursue a new relationship, Rey finds that he is looking forward to the outing with Diane, even if the date is just between friends.

Interactions/Development Points:
Plot Point 1: Sarai continues to be the bad a** Second Lieutenant that Rey loves and relies on. With the recent disappearances, heโs counting on Sarai to keep the guards in line and ready for anything.

Plot Point 1: Cyrus has proven to be a fiercely loyal guard and friend. The two have semi-frequent talks, working through their heartache together. Reynard feels that Cyrus is a valuable member of the team and is grateful to have him in the guard.

Plot Point 1: After getting the appropriate descriptions of the two who captured and killed Otsanda, Rey opted to give Yukira some space. Instead of putting her on rotation, Rey regulated the office work and reporting to his first lieutenant. Rey is hopeful that Yukira will feel better soon.
