Bisera was sitting on the floor of the room in the inn that he shared with Xarnith, looking at the organized chaos that surrounded him on all sides. He'd taken everything out of the broken down old pack that he'd had before, separated it out into various sections, and he was now surrounded by various materials. He had crystals, drift wood, bone, various metals, fancier gems, and more... not to mention pieces that were in various states of done-ness. Those that he'd barely started to things that would be done if he just added a 'certain something' that he hadn't figure out yet that would make them feel done.
He had to now put them all into the new pack so that his old bag which had finally fallen apart could be retired. It was actually a little sad to see it go... he'd had the pack since he'd left Sauti after all. It was just something that had to happen though since the bottom of it had fallen out. There was no saving it given how bad off it was. He gave the old pack a glance where it was hanging on the end of the bed that was nearby, then back again. It was just how it went... sometimes things that you had for a while went away. Unlike with the pack though he didn't want to see the same thing happen with a certain shield barer.
With a little sigh he set to work slowly repacking things into his new pack, pleased that he'd found one with a ton of pockets. It was big enough and had enough pockets that he felt it would hold everything the old pack did and then some... meaning now he had even more space to get even more supplies. He was really glad that he'd gotten the back pack designed one so that he could carry it on his back using both arms instead of just draping it over one.

Xarnith walked into the room, smiling as he went to sit on the bed to watch the other. He liked seeing Bisera like this. Wrapped up in work and so hard to distract. He hummed for a moment. Then picked up the old pack. He looked it over a moment. Examining the damage he hummed. "You know, it'd be easy to rework this into a carrier for firewood or even Fractis." At the mention of his name the Prezi leaped up to the bed. Sniffing at the bag, he purred his acceptance.

There seemed to be very little reaction from Bisera at first, as though he was completely lost in what it was that he was doing at the moment. He had to arrange everything just so and make sure that the pack was packed up in a way that would make everything easy to find. He wanted to be able to jump in and out of work easily, so that he could get things done in a manner that was more efficient then usual. It was what he wanted but even as he thought about it he knew that he'd still be likely to get distracted by all manner of things. Reaching out his hand grasped around for his snack, picking up something else instead, and he seemed to come out of his trance when he nearly bit into a piece of drift wood instead of dried coconut. He starred down at the piece in his hand, "Ahh... oops..." He murmured to himself, then looked up, spotting Xarnith, and his whole body gave a violent jolt, "Ah! You... I didn't hear you come in I... sorry..." Lifting a hand up he laid it over his thudding heart, trying to get it under control. He'd been waiting for Xarnith but hadn't expected him to just appear or at least feel as though just just appeared by magic because he wasn't paying attention.

Xarnith couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him. He leaned on the bed for a moment. "Sorry, its never my intention to scare you." he took a few steps forward. Sitting to show the old pack to him. "But, I mean it. This can be reused for other things. I think Fractis really wants that carrier." the mewling little fussbucket next to them voicing his view on the matter.

Bisera looked up at him for a moment, then glanced over at the cat that was mewling at the moment. He starred at him for a moment before his attention went to Xarnith once more, "Ahh... a carrier? Like for us to carry him in or for him to carry things?" It was hard to say and he knew full well that there was a part of the conversation that he'd missed because he was off in his own world. "I think either one would be alright if you're sure... but the pack is old and worn. We could get him a nicer one, Xarnith. One that is newer and of better quality. The bottom of the pack already fell out once and I would hate for that to happen after we give it to Fractis." Climbing up to his feet he looked up at Xarnith before he said, "I'm good with either way... whatever you think is best for him." He was leaning toward a new pack but he'd see what Xarnith thought.

Xarnith tilted his head as he reached out to grab the other's arm. "Are you okay? You seem distracted. Did I disturb you at a really bad time?" he let go after a moment letting his hand fall back to his lap. "I think Fractis wants something that has our scent on it. Beasts are sensitive to things like that."

Bisera gave a little jolt when Xarnith caught hold of his arm and he found himself dropping his gaze to stare at his strong hand. After a thoughtful moment he said, "I... ahh... no, it's not that it's a bad time I just... I was thinking while I was out and I think I sort of made myself dizzy and... maybe over thought some things?" He wasn't really sure how to approach everything that he'd been thinking about, worried that maybe Xarnith would think that he'd finally lost his mind or something. He had been worrying about a lot to the point of making himself jealous after all. "Ah... something that has our scent on it?" He gave a humming sound, then nodded, "I should be able to make him something out of the cloth of the bag at the very least." He murmured, trying to focus on Fractis even though he really wanted to talk to Xarnith and just Xarnith about Xarnith... but it seemed that the warrior was trying to distract him.

Xarnith intended to try and get Bisera to open up a little, but hearing the other's reply had him nodding a little. "Okay. Well, either way I think it would be a good idea. That way Fractis has a spot to rest in while we walk and we don't have to worry about him getting lost." Xarn looked back up to Bisera. "Did you want to talk about it?" he got a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. Bisera wasn't his usual bright self? Was that his fault?

"We don't have to worry about that. Fractis has found me at great distances before, even if he wandered off he would come back." He said, certain that the cat would find him even if he ended up miles away. At least that was how he'd acted until this point that was... but still, if it would make the perzi happy then he was only too happy to make things for him. A nice pack for him to ride in would be easy enough... though would he even want that? Maybe a harness and a leash instead so he could walk around but not risk getting lost? Did he want to talk about it? He found himself starring at Xarnith for a moment before giving a soft sigh. Did he want to talk about it... that was a good question. He did but it really felt as though Xarnith didn't. If he did he wouldn't be talking as much about Fractis, right? Lifting his hands up he set to fiddling with some of his own long hair in a thoughtful moment before he sat back down in his circle of things, "It's alright... I didn't mean to bother you, Xarnith."

Xarnith got up to grasp Bisera's shoulders. "Its not a bother. I just..." he let go to look down at the ground. Shy. Odd for him. "I just don't want to force you to talk about things your not ready for. So, I'll deflect or choose to try and change topic." he sighed as he sat on the bed. "So...did you need to talk about it? If you don't feel that need we don't have to, we can keep making plans for spoiling the nightmarish little brat." Fractis growled his refusal of that statement before leaping to rub himself against Bisera. Supporting the other.

Bisera lifted his hands up to tug on a handful of his hair, sighing a bit, and he said, "It's not force, Xarnith... I am trying to explain and I would rather that you didn't change the subject. It feels like you're not interested." He sounded as though he was frustrated but doing his best not to sound frustrated. It was a bit of a struggle for him in general because he wasn't good at the voicing his thoughts, especially not when it came to Xarnith. Giving a shake of his head he reached out, wrapping his arms around Fractis, and gave a sighing sound, "I... I have been trying to think about it, been trying to get my thoughts in order. It's only making it worse though. I'm frustrated... I don't know what I should do to make you understand or make me understand. I want you to... ahh... no... I mean I want... you? But I also know know that a lot of others do too. I don't want to share you... It makes me a terrible person, I know that... and I'm sorry."

There was nearly a whole minute that Xarnith didn't reply. Honestly his mind whirled as he looked behind him to the bed, then back to Bisera. Does he take this chance? Can he take this chance? Oh gods he was going to screw up so bad, real quick. He just knew it. Rising a hand to run through his hair, he pulled out the cluster of crystals that held half of it up. Letting his hair fall completely out. Something that he never did...not even around Mano. He slowly moved to sit next to Bisera. "We want the same thing. I don't want anyone to take you from me. For...the entirety of our time together. I found myself wanting to hide you away more and more..." he blushed lightly as he looked across the room. "I...I don't always think before I act. I'm better at that in battles, but I found out quickly that social interactions are vastly different. Its easy with you." he inhaled slowly. Reaching over to take Bisera's hand. "I want...I want to keep you in a keep far from prying eyes. My own jewel to gaze at." he muttered.

Bisera glanced over at Xarnith as he came to sit down next to him. He starred a moment before he started to gather his things, slowly putting them into the pack again. It seemed as though he needed a way to keep his hands busy, "I... that would be easier to deal with then thinking of someone, Mano or that Darvish guy..." He muttered the words because he knew that the jealous feelings that he felt would come through in his voice and he hated himself for it. Glancing toward Xarnith through his bangs he murmured, "I... I wish I was better with words. It's taken me a long time to figure things out. I've been worried that I would get dragged along by your feelings, that mine wouldn't be the same but I would think that they were or that I would get confused. I wanted to think things through and I have. I've... enjoyed cooking for you, making things for you, being with you." Giving a little jump as Xarnith took his hand he starred down at it, then wrapped both his hands around it, and lifted it up so that he could kiss the back of it. After that he gazed up at Xarnith and muttered, "I... would it be horrible of me to... to want to keep you to myself? I mean... not lock you away or anything but not share you with... umm... other l-lovers. Would you be able to give up someone like Mano? I know he's really good looking and far better with words and emotions then I am..."

Xarnith listened to the other. He was quick to grab Bisera pulling him into his lap as he tilted the other's chin up to kiss the jeweler. He parted to mutter to the other. "Done." He held the other close. "Bisera...I'm yours alone from here till the end." he promised.

Bisera gave a bit of a jolt as Xarnith caught hold of him, pulling him into his lap so that he was face to face with the warrior, "Ahh... X-Xarnith?" He murmured a moment before he got a little kiss and the simple word 'done' which was far more complex then it really sounded. So he was fine with what Bisera was saying? He wasn't mad? He didn't want to reconsider given that he'd be giving up a lot in the way of Mano and any others that might want Xarnith. "Ahh... that's..." He trailed off, his cheeks coloring darkly. He made it seem so easy despite all of the fretting that Bisera had been doing of late. Something that caused him to give a little grumbling sound before reaching up to catch hold of some of Xarnith's pretty, flaxen hair, pulling him down for another kiss.
