When my time comes, forget the wrong that I’ve done, Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed.
On July 20, 2017, the earth lost one of the great musicians that walked upon it. Chester Bennington, Lead singer of Linkin Park, Dead by Sunrise, and frontman of Stone Temple Pilots, was discovered dead in his home by apparent suicide.
His cleanly articulated tales of emotional struggle gave millions the sense that someone understood them. Linkin Park was more than just “angsty teenage music.” It spoke emotions we couldn’t put into words and in an age of growing up where anger and frustration were looked down on, their lyrics made you feel that it was okay to be angry and to be pissed off and that those emotions were valid and healthy. For me, they made me feel a lot less alone growing up. Our hearts have been heavy at this news. Thank you Chester for all that you gave so many of us who society just brushed off or dismissed. Thank you for everything. May your soul know peace.

Coloring ponies is the only way I know how to pay tribute to such an amazing man who helped me through the roughest times of my life. Even now, 17 years later, I still find myself drowning out the rest of the world with their music.
Please, if you do not like the band, at least be respectful and keep negative opinions to yourself. While I will not bar non-fans from entering, keep in mind that these ponies are meant as a type of memorial.
The songs you choose will be what I base the colors of the ponies on. They come with pre-chosen hair. In essence, they are semi-semi-customs.
Yes, staff, you may enter.
Sorry, no proxying, trading, or gifting your win.
You may enter for as many of the ponies as you'd like, but you may only win one. Please use the forms provided.
Although the form has an option for a suggestion to an additional edit, keep in mind that if it seems too complicated for me to do, I may not do it.
Fish Aquatic Pony One of the first songs I heard when entering High School was Like a Stone. Chris Cornell's voice has, since that day, been one that manages to soothe and calm me in times of trouble. The world lost him to suicide as well, on May 18. Just a little under two months before we lost Chester. The two of them were close friends, and we can only hope that whatever afterlife they ended up in, they are at peace.

It is common and understandable that, when you hear about the death of someone you care about, especially when it appears to have been a suicide, you can feel intense depression triggers. You may even have suicidal thoughts of your own.
If this happens to you, PLEASE TALK TO SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY. You can reach out to a crisis counselor, someone you trust who is in your support network, or your therapist.

talk of depression below.
this song is very special to my heart as this was a dear friends favourite song and she passed when we were 14 from depression. Wherever her and Chester are, I have to believe they're chilling together and making beautiful music. Double memorial.
