If Only They Could See My Vision.

Atsuma
Toya

Aoba

My Name Is Atsuma Ket. Pleasure To Meet You! I Hope We Can Become Great Friends!

Atsuma sighed when he reached the training area designated for the competitors of the gennin tournament. He was a little set back by the turn of events. At the arena it didn't affect him as much as it did now. He would face someone who was more battle experienced by default. Someone that was in a completely different mindset. It was all a bother to think too much about so he decided he would spend his brain power on what he remembered from the scrolls he read back at the academy. His mind set was a little bit different than before. He felt slightly...Upset yes that was the word to describe him. Atsuma did not get angry that was silly. Atsuma was reformed he was a good boy who followed orders, did his homework and contributed to his lovely village.

Toya was going to annihilate his opponents now. He didn't care if the eyes put him back in the room he would bring down his wrath upon the vermin that laughed at him. He could barely process the information he was trying to remember due to his state. He was an incredibly intelligent shinobi that passed the academy like it was a hobby when it came to paper work. Actual battles were also his forte even if his stamina was an immediate problem for him to overcome. He felt like throwing up. He wanted to kill something. He wondered if there were any cats around for him to mangle.

Atsuma was going to go for the B rank technique known as "Spherical Shield Technique" that he had read thoroughly while back at the academy. He decided it was unnecessary to practice due to it's rank and difficulty at the time, but now he was feeling more 'aggressive' in his style of fighting. It didn't necessarily mean he was mentally altered by the chain of events leading up him to reaching the training room. Of course not. Thinking back on the technique it created orbs of electricity around the caster and protected him from offensive techniques. It was very similar to his Fuuton techniques, but it was much stronger and of a different element. Versatility was the main reason why Atsuma was learning these techniques in the first place.

Toya would use the hatred inside of him to fuel his chakra and transform it. He didn't have the scroll to read into the specifics of the technique. This frustrated him deeply. He wanted to go home and look at his collection. Of what they were was known only to him. Kept hidden from the world. Small treasures he kept from the special people in his life. He remembered all of their names. They were a part of him. They gave him pleasure impossible for him to find in any other way. His mind raced through their individual faces. Their faces before leaving the world. The hope slowly fading away.

Atsuma would attempt to perform the technique and found that he did not create orbs around his body in the quantity described in the scroll. His body was meant to be protected from every angle by the balls of electricity. The ones he managed to create on his first try were of odd sizes, each different from one another and left large spaces between each other. He raised a brow at this and canceled it. He had concentrate. The match was obviously getting to him and he had to admit it. "You're not going to win by being foolish." He told himself before trying again.

There it was in all it's glory. He could feel the power of electricity flowing around his body. Each orb containing a part of his chakra. A part of himself floating around his body in the shape of small orbs. He didn't want to move and disrupt it. He remembered reading about how sensitive the technique was to movement. He was going to be an untargetable caster. His genjutsu would finish the opponent off while they tried their hardest to reach him.

Marui Tate no Jutsu [ Spherical Shield Technique ] - B

Atsuma laughed at himself after successfuly performing the technique. Not because he was happy at performing something above his own skill level without using a known source, but because of the fact that he learned another defensive technique. "Haha oh well." He told himself while scratching his head. He felt silly and at the same time calmer because of it. Maybe thing weren't so bad after all. As a shinobi one should aim to always maintain one's self level headed. Losing control over your emotions was foolish!

Toya wanted to peel the skin off from his bones at how stupid he was allowing himself to be. He wanted more power! Not more defensive jutsu! This was not what he wanted it all and it would not do! he desperately tried to remember some technique he read that was meant to be used offensively. Then it came to him. The tornado prison. It would be perfect! Yes yes yes! They would be stuck under it while his genjutsu corrupted their minds! Oh how the thought exhilerated him.

Atsuma tried to think about how he would create an air current in a specific location and at a distance with enough to control to turn it into a stable tornado. The thought was very daunting honestly. It seemed like something that should be of a higher rank, but who was he to deem rank on anything? Atsuma would pick up his flute and play his music. Now a sweet melody compared to before at the academy where he played an odd and somber tune. His chakra leaving the flute as music. It was spectacular! The air where he was targeting would soon find a subtle disruption, but nothing major and ultimately nothing would happen. The first try had been a failure. Releasing the flute from his lips, Atsuma sighed. Seemingly unphased by the failure he decided to try again.

Toya was upset. He wondered what had gotten into him lately to ******** up so much. Over and over and over. Like a ticking clock on repeat. Oh how he hated those things. They made his skin crawl. Their monochromatic rythm. He preffered the agonizing moan of a woman who, by screaming so much, had lost her voice and had only strength to groan and grunt. It was like the climax of a grand spectacle. It would first start small. Then big where the screams would be piercing. He enjoyed that, but only to a certain extent. And finally the grand finale! In the end the curtains would fall and silence would settle in. His art was truly amazing.

Atsuma would play his flute again and focus harder on the area he wanted to manipulate. He found success in the fact that once he had a small rotation going, no matter how weak or slow it was, he only had to inject more chakra into it to give it a boost. This added together with hot and cold air smashing against eachother was another complex detail of the jutsu. Ultimately he managed to perform the technique that he had memorized in his brilliant mind. Watching it spin he only imagined the possibilites.

If Only They Could See My Vision.

Atsuma
Toya

Aoba

My Name Is Atsuma Ket. Pleasure To Meet You! I Hope We Can Become Great Friends!

Atsuma wanted to dive deeper into Fuuton. He wondered what else he could do without the appropriate scroll to guide him. He wondered if he could create something himself. Something that would fit his personality and fighting style. He decided to begin thinking about what what he wanted to do in the first place. He knew it would be offensive, but in what sense? The technique he had just learned was more of a trap and suppression than an attack. Now air could be used in a brutal manner, but that just didn't sit well with him. Maybe with raiton he would change his mind, but he knew the effects of asphyxiation from one lesson or another. This idea was the seed that would sprout into a new jutsu.

Air was so important. Toya thought back to the girl back at the academy he used as an insignificant toy. Humans take air for granted until it's taken away abruptly. Then they squirm and try to gasp for something that isn't there. He thought back to ***** and how she was the first victim to last a total of 5 minutes. Her resistance was erotic to Toya. He let his grip get loose. Her lungs desperately sucking in more air. He wanted to give her hope. He knew what she was thinking. 'Maybe, just maybe he changed his mind after I struggled for so long. I deserve it! That's what I've been taught my whole life. You fight for something and you deserve it. Then her eyes would widen as his hands wrapped around her neck again. She didn't try as hard that time. All her hope was gone.

Atsuma was going to manipulate the air around a specific area just like he had done before with the tornado jutsu. Except now he wouldn't create an air flow. He would instead in a sense suck the air out of the area he desired. He attempted this and succeeded, but not in the way he wanted to. His reasoning was flawed as the moment he stopped sucking the air, the air around it would collapse into the empty space immediately like a vacuum. The technique Atsuma was trying to create already existed, but it's concept was different and Atsuma had to figure out how to keep the space airless.

Toya was the thinker he was the true mastermind. Atsuma was only what he wanted the world to see and react to. There was no split personality issue going on. Toya was just incredibly smart. People see what they want to see. The eyes that watched him doubted Atsuma's authenticity, but he did not mind. As long as the world believed him. He never did like the name they chose for him. Either way Toya knew what he had to do in order to perfect his jutsu. Part of him sort of knowing that this technique was not new, but he didn't remember reading it in the scrolls. He would not suck the air. He would lower the density and use this to create a barrier around the area to keep more air from filling inside.

Atsuma picked up his flute and played a sad melody. His music slowly lowering the air pressure of an area about the same size as the tornado he had created earlier. Once he thought he had successfully performed the jutsu he would walk inside of the area to see if he had actually been successfull. Air was tricky. The moment he stepped inside he could feel it. The air wasn't filling his lungs like normal. He had to breathe faster and could tell that a couple more minutes of this and he would begin to feel the effects of oxygen deprivation.

Low Air Pressure Technique - C

Atsuma thought back to a scroll he had once read regarding a very interesting jutsu. It wasn't bound to any single element nor was it genjutsu. As a matter of fact, Atsuma was finding himself in a difficult position to learn genjutsu that wasn't created by himself. They all felt off for some reason. But this technique was going to be extremely useful. Atsuma knew his weakness in battle and it was his physical build. While he wasn't as weak as a civilian he was very below standard for a ninja. Playing a flute in battle left him open for a direct attack so he had to think of a way to overcome that. Then the thought him in the head like a brick. Kage Bunshin no Jutsu was a technique that created clones that were 'real' in a sense and could perform techniques on their own.

Toya already mapped everything out in his mind. He would be the genjutsu caster in the fight while his clone would attack with the physical ninjutsu. This would maximize his overall damage and output during the fight. He could barely keep himself from jumping in excitement. The girl that had bailed from the fight would live her life never knowing the fear she had avoided by not fighting him. She would never know how close she had gotten to knowing true fear.

Splitting yourself into another self was a very complex process. Making a clone or an elemental variant of said clone was one thing. It was a manifestation of chakra and just that. Normal clones had no actual power and the elemental variants had limited and sometimes varying powers. Shadow Clones were another part of you. A jutsu that essentially recreated you into another being. It shared your chakra and techniques. Atsuma couldn't even fathom how he would begin training to perfect it, but he knew he wasn't about to give up! Getting first place might have been a stretch for someone like Atsuma and he knew it, but second place was his and he would fight to the death for it. He wanted people to see his vision for the first time.

Toya was going to win the tournament. Atsuma would do his best to try and manipulate those around him to make it seem like he did not strive for anything more than participation, but Toya did not have to face this problem. He was the true instinct of Atsuma. Atsuma had to deal with the world and it's social norms while Toya dealt with the harsh reality. In the upcoming battle it would be Atsuma who bowed before engaging, but Toya would deal the finishing blow.

Atsuma's first attempt at a shadow clone was a big disaster. The poor being was a grey slump of a creature that dropped on the ground seemingly dead or brain dead. Atsuma blinked a couple of times and was visibly sad at the sight. It was like looking at a defeated version of himself. Or a version of himself that was created in some sort of cloning tube and was taken out too soon. Atsuma canceled the jutsu out unable to watch something so horrid anymore. The moment the clone dissappeared he felt a surge of chakra returning to his body. At that moment he understood where his fault laid. Atsuma incorrectly channeled his chakra resulting into the malformed creature. By altering the way in which he channeled his chakra the boy managed to successfully create a shadow clone in his spitting image.

Toya looked down at the failed clone and remembered ????. He had bled her for an entire night. A human body with no blood was a very odd thing to see indeed and this sight reminded him of that girl. He himself knew what was wrong already with the technique, but like before he had to make those watching think he was a subpar gennin. When Atsuma finally created the clone he looked at himself for a while in silence. Was the clone free? It was an interesting thought. The possibilites for different strategies had just expanded for Toya and he knew it. For the first time in a very long time, Toya spoke taking Atsuma's spotlight. "This is going to be fun." He said with an extremely different voice than Atsuma's. Then just like that he was gone again.

Kage Bunshin No Jutsu - B

The temporary body paralysis technique was one of Toya's favorites. While it wasn't highly effective against trained shinobi it was deadly on civilians. With a couple of hands signs he could make someone his. He liked the way the watched him with panicked eyes while their bodies ignored their brain's commands. He had no one to practice the technique on, but it was simple enough and had used it before. He knew he was capable of executing it in battle in case of an enemy getting too close to him.

Masato would appear in a plume of smoke as he was transported to the training area. His grin reflected his excitement. " Hell yeah, I'm fired up now!" He said, clenching his fists as he thought of his next fight. How it may be even harder than his last challenge. No way that Masato was satisfied with his current power. No, he had to continue. 'Should probably cover my weaknesses....' He thought, searching through a collection of technique scrolls that could possibly be of use. He would begin focusing his chakra inward, flooding his body with it in an attempt to ready his body for katon techniques without harming himself.
[ Bounetsu no Jutsu [ Flame-Resistance Technique ] [1/2]

Masato, having lined his belly, throat and mouth with a thin veil of chakra would now try to push his resistance. Breathing out, he expelled a small flame that was forged of chakra in his lungs. As he expelled it, the chakra blaze would spit only a few inches from his mouth, harmlessly exiting him without any pain what so ever. Too easy, of course Masato was resistant to flames. His rage and mentality resonated katon all day.
Bounetsu no Jutsu [ Flame-Resistance Technique ] [ 2/2]

Having readied himself, Masato now was prepared to work on his next offensive strategy. Granted, strategy for Masato was generally just hitting something harder, he had his moments. Recalling how useful his smoke leap was, he knew the technique would be possible utilizing the fire element. This would be his goal. Masato began channeling his chakra into his feet, prepared to move quickly.
Katon: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Instant Movement Technique ] [1/4 ]

With his soles full of chakra, Masato began to run towards an obstacle before him. As he neared it, he commanded his body to move instananeously. His feet sparked, igniting the air around his lower aft of the body. Sadly, this attempt only allowed Masato to travel at a slightly increased speed, his movements were still all to visable.
Katon: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Instant Movement Technique ] [2/4]

Readied for a second attempt, Masato again manipulated his chakra into his soles. Dashing forward, running as hard as he could naturally. Just before he reached the wall of the complex he would leap up, kicking his foot against the wall mid room height. Doing so he would attempt his flame element body flicker technique. In a blurring motion he vanished, reappearing back on the ground where he imitated the running motion from. As he appeared the spot he had left on the wall ignited, erupting into a flash fire that would singe anyone left near his last spot.
Katon: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Instant Movement Technique ] [3/4]

Feeling confident he had gotten the hang of the technique, Masato would rerun the proceedure one last time to ensure his victory using this later on. Dashing again, with great confidence, Masato would leap at the wall once more. As his heel once again clicked against the wall, he would activate the technique, leaving behind a blasting quick flame. Masato's body appeared one last time at the bottom of the wall, where he had began.
Katon: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Instant Movement Technique ] [4/4]

Masato paused. Wondering what else he could possibly practice that would benefit him with his next fight. Remembering he had his sword tethered to his back, Masato grasped for it. Letting it bounce between left and right hands for a minute before deciding to actually practice with it. Masato recalled hearing a man in the village talk about a ninja who could infuse his slashes with fire chakra and swing his blade so rapidly that he could ignite an entire area. This would be his next practice.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ] [1/7]

Masato would take his sword into both hands, swinging the blade at the angles he recalled seeing the man demonstrate haphazardly as he mimicked the technique himself. ' can't be that hard to light a sword on fire and swing it..' he thought to himself as he went through the motions of slashing, rotating, slashing and rotating again as though he were surrounded. The katana would be angled diagonally and then vertically, following horizontal patters repetitively.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ][2/7]

With ambition of setting the room ablaze, Masato vigorously continued his training. His blade was picking up speed and momentum with each swing, granting him confidence in his attacks. He had always had the sword, just...never learned to use it. This was good enough. Probably. The sound of air being cut echoed in the room as Masato completed the physical action of his training.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ] [3/7]

Now, Masato would begin to focus his chakra into the blade. His intent? To create a viable flame coating its edge. As Masato stopped his swinging, he gripped the blade in both hands, holding the back of the sword to himself, edge forward and tip pointed skyward. Masato channeled his chakra diligently as he could. Several moments passed before a spark ignited at the sword's tip. Then, following the spark would be a small blaze that stayed close to its edge.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ] [4/7]

Masato had finally gotten the fire stoked of the sword. Time to put it into appliciation. Masato would swing the blade, the roar of the fire sounding off in response to its motion. A grin encompassed his face. He was going to easily grasp this technique? Right? As he swung though, he would note that the sword was simply on fire, not sending explosive blasts around the area. This would apparently take just a little more time.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ] [5/7]

Focusing on forcing his fire nature chakra outside the blade's reach, he imagined a wave of flames errupting forth. As he imagined it, it would come to be. A wave of fire washed up against the wall of the complex. Masato had combined his chakra channeling with a physical motion to create the basics of the technique. Now all that remained was to combine its swift circling motion with the flames! Masato was one step closer to mastering this technique.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ][6/7]

Finally, the time for Masato to execute the entire technique had come. Standing with his sword in a single hand, he sheathed it on his back, mimicking a drawing action for practice's sake. Inhaling and exhaling slowly he imagined a multitude of foe encroaching on him. With this though he would strike out violently. He dropped to a semi-squatting position, rotating as the blade came off his back and laid horizontally at about shoulder level as his second hand gripped it. With his right hand leading, Masato slashed from left to Right, creating a complete circle path with his blade. As his blade ended the motion, an arc of fire chakra shot out, blasting the two walls nearest him with fire in a flawless execution style. Satisfied, Masato resheathed his blade.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ] [7/7]

Continuing his regiment before the next match, Masato would place his hands together in an attempt to gather chakra. He desired to test his mettle in his smoke remnant blood line. As he concentrated the chakra, he felt a difference in its density. He recognized his chakra being sapped, but could not visably see the technique. A genin shinobi training in the area would begin to become dizzy, stumbling about. It was then Masato realized he had accidentally produced a gas like technique.

Methane Release [ B ] [1/3]

The gas was colorless, odorless and otherwise undetectable. Masato's rather unintelligent accident had created quite the weapon. He continued to release the gas, unaware of its ability. The genin who was now fighting to control any motions of his own was nearly blacked out. The boy collapsed finally, experiencing a blackout. Medical ninja nearby would move to recover they child, unaware of the situation.

Methane Release [ B ] [2/3]

Just as the medics took the unnamed genin away Masato, once again unaware of his ability snapped his finger, deciding to attempt practicing the Cinder Technique he had used on Taylor. As the spark formed nearly twenty feet away, a blast manifested on its location and spread out, a flash fire that consumed the radius of the gas's effects. The blast would send Masato flying back, unaware of how close he was to its range. Laying flat on his back from the concussive force. " Woah. I'm on fire!" He yelled as he leaped to his feet, looking down at his clothes. " Oh...s**t... I'm actually on fire!" he said slapping his robe.

If Only They Could See My Vision.

Atsuma
Toya

Aoba

My Name Is Atsuma Ket. Pleasure To Meet You! I Hope We Can Become Great Friends!

The fight had been a great learning experience for the young man. Going in he assumed he would be fighting against his peer with his usual set of skills, but he was very mistaken. The puppeteer had countered his ability to perform genjutsu through his flute though his own merit. It was quite ingenious even if a pure stroke of luck. Either way it forced Atsuma to rely on ninjutsu during the fight due to said luck. He needed to diversify his arsenal once again otherwise he would not get any farther within the tournament. By focusing on flute oriented genjutsu almost half of his genjutsu became unusable. It was highly unlikey he would face a similar problem again, but he could not ignore the obvious fact that he could not put all of his eggs in one basket. He would learn genjutsu that were not of his own creation and did not require sound as the main source of contact!

The child had been a nuisance for Toya. How he wanted to pluck the puppeteer's eyes out from his skull, but was not granted the luxury. That damned machine. Even now Toya could not keep that wretched noise out of his mind! Make it stop make it stop make it stop! Those damned abominations all of them. The little boy thought they could protect him from his predator. He lost the moment he took Toya as the prey. BAHA! Toya being prey. It was an amusing thought. The boy ran for the entire ordeal and for half didn't even realize how he was being manipulated. Like a PUPPET HAHAAH!! HE WAS THE PUPPET ALL ALONG TO TOYA'S GRAND PLAY HOW COMICAL! It was those moments that made Toya wish he had someone to get a good laugh with.

Atsuma once again thought back to the techniques he had read back at the academy, but was without time to actually learn them. In his mind scavanger hunt the boy came across a wall and not not that would block his thoughts. It was quite literately a wall. The genjutsu in mind would create an impenetrable wall. Atsuma saw great opportunity in this genjutsu. It would not only make the opponent wary of casting jutsu twice on him, but force them to attack from two obvious locations giving Atsuma a nice advatange and on top of that would block their vision of him. He was defining his style of battle and the match against the puppeteer only made it clearer that being hidden was a huge part of his strategy. He would perform the genjutsu just the way he remembered it.

Toya observed the wall. It was transparent enough for him to see through it, but still understand it's dimensions. He hated it. There had to be an adjustment. It looked so grotesque, so savage. As if it was sculpted by a demonic war God. Raising Atsuma's hand, Toya would aim it towards the wall in a conjur-like matter. Slowly the texture and structure of the wall would peel away into that of paper. The grotesque faces would become beautiful paper birds scattered across the wall that would now represent a gate beautifully adorned by the birds. It was marvelous. If only he could make something so powerful into a reality. And just like that it was gone.

Ussou Kabe [ Impenetrable Wall ] D

Atsuma was not the strongest individual in his village and he knew this, but it wasn't rare for people of small frames to show exponential force. It was his intention of keeping people in the dark for as long as he could about this fact. With this in mind he worked his brain once again to a technique known as the hidden assassin technique. It was flashy and deadly. Atsuma wasn't known for his taste in flashy jutsu though. Although not too many people knew him at all actually. He felt a small rush of sadness course through him. Those people cheering for him yet he knew that the moment the match was over they would just forget about him again. He longed to become a respected shinobi of the sand yet he couldn't help, but feel a weight on his shoulder when it came to interacting with his peers.

Toya thought back to the fight and the short moment in which he saw his opponent up close. The moment the coward decided to leave his obnoxious fortress. How he wanted to just grab him and bring him back to one of his paper rooms. That's what Toya called them. You see killing a body is not a simple task there are many things involved in the process and blood get everywhere. So he'd find these abandoned buildings and in them were usually small rooms for what ever purpose they might have served. It did not matter to Toya. He'd use his paper to completely cover up the entire room. He'd create several layers and enhance them to not become soggy. Killing someone in a controlled environement was different than killing someone in battle. In his room they were sedated and were never shinobi.

Atsuma thought about the genjutsu's concept and how it was almost like a combination of his own genjutsu with another. It made him disappear and become invisible to his opponent's eyes. A fake would appear behind the enemy and instantly pierce the enemies heart. Seemed simple enough it wasn't the same as creating a clone. He was simply creating an illusion of himself performing a complex maneuver.

Toya could see it now. Striking his enemy and piercing into their heart with his kunai. Oh, but it wouldn't actually be him doing it. That wasn't going to do it for him. Watching a mirage from a distance get to have all the fun while he watched. Did he truly mind this or was he just being picky? Toya was going to have so much fun.

Atsuma would perform the technique at last. Now at first he would dissapear. He couldn't see the genjutsu being cast onto himself, but he knew that whoever was watching him would see him disappear in a puff of smoke. In the distance in front of him he could see himself perfoming the execution maneuver at a speed that he could not see himself achieving. He wondered how well this would fair in actual combat though.

Toya hated these generic genjutsu. They were all so ******** obvious! He needed to change it. It had to be changed! A puff of smoke? No no no no. Toya would change the genjutsu once again. Instead of disappearing into a puff of smoke he would turn into a flock of paper birds and disperse. The clone would also look unatural. Like a crude paper clone of himself it was completely disfigured and grotesque and unlike the wall he thought it was brilliant and beautiful. Why? There was no balance in what he found beautiful and ugly. Maybe it was just the fact that he loved his art and loathed any other form of it.
Hitoshirenu Shikaku no Jutsu [ Hidden Assassin Technique ] C

Atsuma sometimes felt odd. Some of the techniques he had were very...Sinister? Yes that sounded right. Atsuma considered himself to be a really nice guy yet his abilities did not match his personality. Yet his mind always trailed back to such techniques. The Plague of Rats was an excellent example of this. The technique apparently created the illusion that rats were devouring the afflicted.

Toya was midly excited about the rat plague technique. He'd never seen rats devour someone. And the thought of watching his opponents run from rats was pretty humorous. He'd make sure to make use of it in the upcoming fights.

Atsuma performed the genjutsu and watched the rats appear. They had nothing to converge onto so they just walked around sniffing the ground. They looked vividly real.

Toya once again would manipulate the illusion to that of his own will. Layers of skin would peel from each individual rat to be replaced by paper until all of the rats were made of pure white paper. He could only imagine what they would all look like stained in the blood of his enemies.

Atsuma was going to capitalize on his faults. One of them being unable to pin down his enemy. What was the point of constantly putting your opponent in check and letting them move after. "Now what would achieve that?" He asked himself. Then it came back to him although he'd have to edit it to his own accord although more training wasn't necessary. See Atsuma's paper was special. It was almost like a breathing part of him and shared his madness uniqueness. It could apply genjutsu by that had touch as some form of effect. It was quit insidious actually. People never paid too much attention to paper. Considered it inoffensive.

The technique had to be applied by hand, but Atsuma wouldn't be getting close to his enemies and he knew this or at least close enough to engage in armed combat. His shadow clone might've, but not him. So he would practice the genjutsu using his own paper. There was no one to practice it on so he would practice with the aid of his shadow clone.

Toya watched his clone from behind Atsuma's eyes. They were the same eyes, but it does sound dramatic when said that way. They were not seperate entities, but a whole. Atsuma was Toya's representation to the world. The ideal shinobi that would get him away from trouble. He wondered if the clone also had the same system. Did the clone really think or were they his thoughts? If Toya was the clone he'd attempt to kill himself to become the true self. Either way he would throw some paper at the clone and watch it's body become completely rigid. The genjutsu was successful.

Kukan Hyouketsu no Jutsu [ Body Freeze Technique ] - C

Atsuma noticed during his fight that his opponent would randomly show random outbursts of speed and create a sort of flickering effect. This technique was not foreign to Atsuma he knew very well what it was. The body flicker technique was a staple jutsu for anyone one who called him or herself a shinobi.

He just never found it necessary for himself to actually perform, but the fight against the young puppeteer showed him the benefits of it in combat. Atsuma was putting constant pressure on Tetsuhiko and never had to avoid anything himself other than the large puppet that was summoned on top of his head in an attempt to smash his body. He never had to avoid anything at the last minute. But what if he was put against someone much more aggressive than tetsuhiko?

The child puppeteer only managed to avoid certain attacks due to it and Atsuma would emulate his behavior. For the body flicker technique he didn't have to recall to scrolls, but back to the academy days. The concept was taught, but not the execution. Gathering chakra in both his legs and feet the boy looked at a distance and moved forward towards it. In the blink of an eye he was there.

Tetsuhiko flying in the air made Atsuma thoughtful. His natural affinity was Fuuton and Raiton with an emphasis on Fuuton. He thought to himself 'hey I should be able to fly too' and thought back to fuuton techniques that might've aided him in his desire.

There was indeed a technique that could bring the boy soaring into the sky. It was named Kaze Nori. Like a nimbus cloud the user could use it to move around quickly and fly. His first attempt at said jutsu would be a complete failure. It couldn't withstand his weight at all and dissipated.

The second try was much better compared to the first. He could stand on top of it, but it gave him no balance at all. It kept shaking and ultimately made him fall off. He most certainly would not attempt to fly higher in the air with it until he fully understood how to control it.

Before he even realized it he was soaring through the training area calmly. The air bubble below him practically a thought at that point. He knew it was under him, but he didn't have to concentrate to keep it steady. Slowly he approached the ground and hopped off.
