╯Personality:
Prim and proper, Evelyn has a refined attitude fit for an upperclass woman. She hardly expresses any emotion aside from the occassion smile; to do anything else would be unbecoming or so she was taught. Rarely does she trust others after the terrible chain of events that happened in her life concerning her parents. From that same incident this noblewoman was taught it was unwise to completely trust even the ones you loved. The woman is known to be a little harsh and distant with people, lacking any sort of filter of what should and shouldn't be said. However, her harsh language and rude behavior is actually her brutal honesty on what she observes. She lacks any real social skills; having only been taught textbook on how to behave. Evelyn is a snooty, stuck up, vain and arrogant germaphobe who, despite all of this, has some form of compassion in her heart. She puts her people first and would go through any self sacrifice for their benefit.
But when the woman engages in battle, she becomes a cold-hearted, ruthless sadist; taking pleasure in the negative energy from the pain she cause in others. As an Etherious, that negative energy fuels her Curse Power and it is that rush of power that gives her a high. As she despises losing, she will do everything in her power to achieve victory over her opponent.

╯Magic & curse Types : Vrykolakas
⌈Sub Magic Type(s)⌉ Etherious Form / Shade / Shadow Magic / Hex / Mystic Regalia / Sword Magic
╯Weapon(s):
Dharke Parasol
An umbrella that is incredible resilient in that it resist damage from magic and sharp blades. The tip is sharp enough to pierce, becoming a club with a point when closed. While open, the canvas is made of a material that resists all forms of magic, becoming the ultimate shield; however, it can only cover a short range, depending on how it is used. Made from a steel skeleton, it is a heavy but versatile weapon in the hands of someone with great strength and skill, making it seem lightweight.
Akaikawa (Red River)
A nodachi from Chaian that reaches up to 47" and is made of light, yet durable steel. It is so sharp that it will cut through any ordinary sheath and it never seems to lose its sharpness. Although it is a magnificent sword, it is burdened by a horrible curse, making it dangerous to wield. The curse causes the nodachi to crystallize any and all blood it comes in contact with. In the hands of the wielder, it can be used to make sharpe blood projectiles. Unfortunately, it also crystallizes the blood in the body of the user the longer they wield. Evelyn has managed to circumvent this curse by liquefying her blood faster than it can be crystallized. Given it's length and sharpness, it has no sheath to carry it and is instead kept elsewhere.
╯Fighting Style:
Dance of Elegance
This style displays the practitioners incredible reflexes and speed, to dodging attacks with ease even when while wielding a weapon in hand. Relying on their agility to dodge and misdirect enemy movements and attacks, they then retaliate with kick-based attacks. Almost all attacks are performed after parrying the opponent which opens them to counter blows.
Versatile Guard
A bizarre weapon art using a weapon with multiple forms and purposes that relies on the practitioner's flexibility, dexterity, strength and footwork. From heavy strikes to bruise and break, to quick thrusts and jabs, this style is one that allows the user to constantly change forms fluidly. This makes it harder for the opponent to read the practitioner's movements, giving them an edge in combat.
Dance of Truculence
A wild frantic fighting style that relies heavily on strength and speed; using quick powerful strikes in succession to subdue the enemy with little resistance. While not strictly a hands only form, it very rarely involves the use of kicks to attack. With an open palm, the practitioner follows up with crushing grip strikes that aim to grab hold of and break with raw strength. For users with claws, their sharp nails can tear and shred into opponents. Combined with wild and quick movements, this fighting style can be hard to read and dangerous to get near.
Freelance Frenzy
This sword style is less than a form and more a reckless barrage of one hand sword strikes that are unleashed on the enemy. It relies more on the practitioner's overall strength, speed and endurance than footwork and precision. Not noticeable at first glance, it takes great skill to use this style without getting yourself killed in the process; being able to strike multiple times with changes of attack type (from slash to pierce) without any difficulty. Those who master this form may find that using it with two hands will make it twice as dangerous as it utilizes the user's full strength. When used against another swordsman, the enemy will find that this style is not to be taken lightly. It is as dangerous to the practitioner as it is to the opponent.

╯Bio:
Birth of Leicord
Years ago, in Leicord, a beautiful continent that flourished with life and was abundant in resources; that is, until man intervened. Staking claim on these resources, it wasn't long before the continent became divided by countries and those countries gave rise to kingdoms. At first, the kingdoms cooperated with one another, trading goods and keeping the peace...somewhat. In this age, Magic was still a rather foreign concept in this part of the world and was seen as something otherworldly and sinister. Such art was only practiced by young women who observed the outside world; witches they were called, who formed covens which became the equivalent of Magic Guilds. Not all witches practiced the dark arts, summoning monsters and demons into the land, but they were all hunted just the same. Before long, the resources of the land would become scarce and with it, the people would become desperate. And when desperation set in, it gave birth to violence and war: the first to begin the strife being Llanarthen. The king of this throne was strong and had used his power to strengthen his army. War would sweep across the once beautiful continent, staining it with blood and death. Each kingdom fought to take what they needed from each other at all cost. Yet, the wars only served to exhaust more resources, causing the fall of many countries that would get taken by neighboring kingdoms. This went on for years until there were only four countries that remained: Brighing, Glasham, Llanarthen and Faldiff. As it had become increasingly apparent, Llanarthen was vastly more powerful with Magic on their side. It wouldn't be long before they would seize control over the entire continent.
The Princess of Dharke
The king of Llanarthen, Lucius Dharke, saw the power and value of the witches, that which he sought to make his own. He was a man who was raised and given anything he desired in the world, yet always desired more. When he came to sit upon the throne his father left for him, Lucius' greed casted a shadow on the kingdom and affected even the citizens. His current wife was a woman whom he had taken from her fiance because he desired her. As the queen had already given birth to him a son, an heir to the throne, she was now nothing more than an obstacle in his bid for power. After meticulously getting rid of her, the man had set his sights on Bellatrix Krauss, the leader of an infamous coven. Bellatrix and her coven practiced every known form of magic, not for power or to cause chaos, but simply because of their fascination with what they could accomplish. She was exceptionally strong; however, she would not escape capture when her sisters were apprehended. Power was not in her interest, but the king offered a safe haven for her and her coven. Of course, Bellatrix was not a fool and knew the safety of her fellow witches relied on her cooperation with Lucius. With her help, the greedy king acquired the power he wanted: becoming an Etherious and forsaking his humanity. There was no way he could allow Bellatrix to leave his side now, making her his queen against her will. Even after her coven had turned their backs on her, feeling she had abandoned them, their safety remained in her best interest. So Bella continued to obey the king, even with giving him a child. Unfortunately, Lucius didn't get another son, instead bringing a daughter into the world...one that he tried to dispose of. While her mother never wanted the baby while carrying her, it was upon her birth and the king's actions that made her change her mind. Perhaps Lucius' only act of mercy was allowing the witch to keep the baby, so long as she gave him another.
And so, Evelyn, princess of Llanarthen, had grown up in the safety of the castle walls, only hearing about the ever waging war outside. The middle child of three, she was the only daughter of King Lucius and the first of his children to share his Curse. Such a Curse made it difficult to spend time outside, the sun being extremely harsh on her skin. Her mother had her carry around a parasol just in case, proving to be effective when she needed to venture outside the castle. For some reason, her younger brother, Adomas, didn't have as much of an issue with the sun; further earning her father's scorn for being a failure. Even her older brother, Vincent, despised her for who she was and for reasons she could not understand. Despite all of that, Evelyn was raised and treated like the princess she was; being spoiled by her mother, the only one who showed any concern for her. As a child, her mom began teaching her the art of witchcraft; learning to use Magic and other dark arts. Her teachings somewhat raised her father's opinion of her when he realized he could have the perfect successor with her. But as Evelyn grew older, she came to see her father for who he really was from the wars between the countries. Such a vile and despicable man was someone she refused to aspire to. When Vincent died fighting on the lines of battle, that man didn't shed a single tear or show any remorse. They may not have been close, but she regretted never getting to know her brother due to his hatred of her. That coupled with the corruption in the kingdom that could be credited to her father; she was determined to succeed him and fix her country. Perhaps she could put an end to the war and the needless deaths as well. Her mother encouraged her dreams and goals, even going as far to tell her to resort to force if need be. And in the end, that's exactly what happened. Caught off guard, Evelyn attacked her father, dealing him a fatal blow. While he easily bested her in physical strength and skill, she had him by his weakness: Magic and the sunlight. After nearly getting herself killed in the process, it was her mother who would come to congratulate her...as she attacked her. At this very moment, the poor girl came to learn the truth behind her mother's actions. Her mother used her like a tool, training and teaching her magic to achieve the goal of killing Lucius. Evelyn was crushed...her mother was her everything, but she was no different than her father in that neither of them loved her. No one did...

Years of Solitude...But Not Alone
The princess did everything in her power to escape her own mother's scorn. She was an outcast and on the run; the witches banding together to hunt her down. There was nowhere she could go after Bellatrix outed her to the kingdom. In the eyes of the people, she was the princess who killed her father in a bid for power. And the news spread all over Leicord, leaving her little place else to go. Evelyn had no choice but to leave the country, stowing away on a shipping vessel. Things only got harder for the princess from then on, as her Etherious traits began to surface. With pointed ears, fangs and glowing red eyes, it was rather difficult..no, impossible for her to blend in. The people she met would take one look at her and either run or attack. "Demon Child", "Abomination", "Monster". Evelyn heard it all as she ran from village to village, seeking shelter or better yet, food. The longer she went without food, her inner Etherious cravings revealed themselves and the more her appearance would change. But giving into those cravings she feared would make her more like her father...to hurt others for her own gain. So for years she fought it, getting by with the little food she managed to steal and escaping with her life. Eventually, she began to question: Why should she care? Hated by all, why should she care about anyone but herself? Over time, Evelyn's temperament began to change as she started to attack people who tried to harm her. Once she started drinking blood, there was no way she could go back. The young vampire slowly became the monster they labelled her; traveling from village to village, country to country.
Centuries later, Evelyn had finally started to age as she got a handle on her abilities. Being able to manage her cravings meant she didn't have to be so reckless in her pursuit for blood. Being reckless only attracted...unwanted attention. As she had changed, so had the times: Magic becoming widely accepted in the world and groups of these magic users banding together. These groups did odd things with their magic, but also used it to fight monsters. And if she was labeled as such... Well, she had no interest in being hunted by "witches" again. But then, she wasn't the only one being called a "monster". There were other Etherious like her, being hunted by some of these guilds and perhaps, the first time in a long time Evelyn showed any sense of humanity. Putting her life on the line, she would try to help her fellow race when she could. Was there no where in the world where she and others like her could be safe?

Rebuilding an Empire
That question plagued the woman's mind for decades as she searched for such a place. If such a place didn't exist...would it be possible to make one? But where would she even begin to start her own kingdom? Her travels looking for these answers eventually brought her to Fiore; here where the opinions of Etherious were more lenient than most. Still, it wasn't quite what she was looking for and still felt the need to hide beneath her cloak to stay out of sight. Somehow her disheveled appearance still managed to draw attention, in particular, to a young woman dressed in flashy clothing. She brought her to her establishment full of games she'd never heard of. Well she wanted her to play to win money, so play she did, perhaps more than the woman expected. Had she known it was so easy to earn money, she would have done this long, long ago. With her new income of wealth, she find a nice place to stay, take a nice bath, sleep in a nice bed and buy nice clothes. It was a nice start, but she still wasn't sure how to go about building an empire. So, she asked the casino woman; though a smaller empire in comparison, she clearly had some sense in running a business. That's when she received a lovely surprise: the casino woman, Nebula had decided to assist her in her own endeavors. While it had escaped her notice at first, she too was in fact Etherious. Was it fate? Evelyn couldn't help but wonder, until she found another Etherious by the name of Skaldevo who was willing to join her as well. It would start small, but her dream was slowly starting to be realized as those around her made it happen. She decided they should form a group, like the witches of old and the wizards of now; a guild with the goal of forming a place where they could call home, a place where they could rule. Broken Crown would be the name, a dream not yet fulfilled but well on the way to being complete.
╯Goals --- Motives: To rebuild her empire; one for those who are just as broken and lost as she is. All who object to her rule must be eliminated.
╯Guild Mark: Black; Back of her neck
╯Relationships:
» Lucius Dharke | Father / Deceased
Hardly a father to her, except in name and blood alone. Evelyn was despised by her father by the longest time until he realized he could use her. In the end, it was she who took his life, but she felt neither joy or sadness. There was only that which he gave her in terms of affection - nothing.
» Bellatrix Krauss | Mother / Deceased
Evelyn's mother raised her, groomed her, taught her everything she knew and even loved her...or so she thought. The woman she called mother only kept her to use in taking the life of her captor. All acts of love or care was simply a means to an end; in fact, her mother hated her just the same as her father. Any feeling of care or love was lost on Evelyn when her mother forsook her.
» Vincent Dharke | Older Half Brother / Deceased
Evelyn knew he was strong, brave and persistent; however, that's all she knew from him, from the words of others. Her older brother wanted nothing to do with her and kept her at arms length until the very end. In hindsight, she believes he blames her for his mother's death or at the very least, projected that hatred onto her.
» Adomas Dharke | Younger Brother / Unknown
The only one Evelyn believes may have understood her in hindsight; then again, he was favored by their father and spent a great deal with the man. Though she didn't see him much due to this, she noticed he never lost his smile, which counts for a lot.
» Mattheus Dharke | Nephew
Evelyn's dear nephew whom she met when reclaim her castle. In her eyes, he is a sweet and innocent child who clings to her dearly. She tries not to spoil the boy, wanting him to grow up to be a fine king someday. When she isn't busy, Evelyn tries to mentor him into fulfilling that role and in some ways, she treats him like the son she never had.
» Nebula Seth | Guild Ace / Treasurer
Meeting Nebula was by chance; however, their fated meeting set Evelyn on the path to achieving her goal, starting with the formation of Broken Crown. Her loyalty and undying love has caused the empress to rely on her, as she has come to wait on her hand and foot. Evelyn cares very much for her Ace, perhaps more than she realizes.
» Skaldevo Palatas | S-Rank / "Attack Dog"
Nebula's loyalty for the guild master can only be matched by Skal, a guardian of sorts. Evelyn feels a certain connection the werewolf; he too understanding what it feels like to be judged by appearances. She knows she can count on him to keep all enemies to the guild at bay and hopefully he knows just how much Evelyn appreciates him.
» Lily-Marie Aethelred | S-Rank
Lily, despite her appearance, is the one Evelyn would consider "the most deceptive." As she is known to prank even her fellow guild members, the guild master has been wary and also has little tolerance for being the victim of said pranks. And yet, there is a part of her that Evelyn can sympathize with, allowing her to accept the girl despite her antics. Lily has also proven her devotion to the guild with her contributions, even if the empress is slightly skeptical of them.
» Kimura Tenma | S-Rank
As for Kimura, one of her more eccentric and violent followers, she has a very odd relationship with. The girl will heed her every command and takes enjoyment in her acts of violence. Perhaps a little too much, as she will even let Kimura terrorize villages for her own self satisfaction.
» Rosa Li' Denose | B-Rank
Perhaps her most innocent follower, she's a little concerned for her well being as it seems she doesn't completely understand the motives of the guild. Despite her unique gifts, Evelyn refuses to see the girl as a tool to be used, knowing full well how that feels. Instead, she only wishes to provide the girl a family that she clearly needs and will keep her away from the darker activities of the guild if possible.
