➳ How do they act?
- Issy is a social butterfly and clown most of the time. This is most likely due to her 'adding fluff' because she lost her father and not truly accepting the grief that came with it since she never got the chance to meet him. She can be seen as rude and direct, but that is because she doesn't see her mother often and she's rather reckless with her choices.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Isabella was the only child in her family and only had much older cousins in her extended family. During one of her movings, her family of three consisting of herself and her parents met fate as her father encountered Mad Manta and sadly, was one among numerous civilians to perish at the hands of the hero turned villain. Isabella's mother grew depressed and since then hasn't built the need to move again as Issy's father is buried in Chicago. Isabella grew up to tales of her mother of that tragic day when she herself was merely months old and the aquatic powered man formed an alliance with other powerful villains. Her father had called her mother to notify her of groceries, but that was the last thing he spoke to her about until the police arrived at their doorstep the next day to tell Issy's mother of the incident. Growing the need to prevail over this, her mother dove into work leaving Issy with freedom and not so smart decisions during childhood as well as her teenage years. She'd become a trickster and managed to slip through trouble with her mother, but at the age of 12 she began to notice some changes. Her abilities were emerging and she grew scared because it caused her neighborhood to go into an explainable power outage. Issy was certain that her powers were probably given to her out of pity from someone of higher power, but this was merely a 13 year old girl's conclusion. When the Chicago Experiment took place, Issy's grandmother became exposed to the radiation that mutated the genes further down the family lineage. During childbirth of Issy's mother, her grandmother died due to a rare illness that wouldn't allow her to create blood cots at a fast rate, but this was also a side affect of the experiment gone wrong. Issy's mother's genes were also manipulated as recessive genes, not showing at an early age or later age, but once Issy was born, the gene turned on along with the start to puberty. Her new acquired and newly forming powers became a pain as she had two handfuls of cellphones throughout her years with the excuse usually being that she dropped it, misplaced it, or it had water damage when in reality, her abilities shocked the battery causing a fire or damage. Issy also had a hard time finding a way to take showers without feeling a tingly feeling throughout her body (which were of course the subatomic particles rushing around inside her body through her bloodstream) which would either conduct electricity and fry her hair or surrounding area including the tub and the faucet/shower head, or would shock her as water is a polar molecule and doesn't need another electron in it's electron cloud to become polar. Issy has mastered some of her fully potential electrical abilities by forming force fields, temporarily paralyzing a pet hamster by accident, creating small bolts from her finger tips as to shock her fellow classmates considering her joker like characteristic and finally, using electroception a couple times when she was at the brink of being mugged.
