- Sylvia is a good person at heart; she wants to help people out of the kindness of her heart, but this desire to help people can be harmful to her. While she’s not fond of the secrets kept and the underlying realization that she will have to make some tough decisions just to maintain her powers, she obeys. Oftentimes—though she hides it—she feels like a fake, a sham of a hero who couldn’t get the powers naturally and had to resort to artificial methods to become the superheroine she is today.

- Sylvia Parks, more famously known as the Girl Wonder, is a superheroine and celebrity.
Sylvia wasn’t born with powers, and didn’t show much sign for developing them in adolescence either. As a result, her life—though pleasant—was mundane, and she was especially frustrated when she discovered that her sister, who died before her birth, had powers of her own. However, a stranger came up to her one afternoon and offered her what she wanted. While she was skeptical, she agreed to undergo hyper radiation treatment by the shady organization known as Catalyst to activate her powers. In exchange for her loyalty, she would continue to receive treatments to keep her powers, allowing her to become a superheroine and celebrity.
