Rayne stood up against the front wall of the castle, making sure to keep his face hidden under his cloak. It was very rare for him to be outside, let alone out of his room. Shadira forced him to obey her, due to the gems in his choker. All he wanted was to be free from all the suffering. He never got the chance to know his father, all thanks to Dimitri. Rayne figured that his memories were changed somehow in order to keep out his father's memory. 'Will I ever be free? Does anyone even care about me?' Every once in a while, he would be sent off on some mission. Before returning to the castle, he liked to spend time in a cabin he had found. Luckily, the cabin itself was out of Shadira's range of sight. 'Who knows what they have planned for me next.'

Rayne arrived back at the castle and released a sigh of relief. 'I don't sense them anywhere. Where could they be? What do I care anyway? At least I get to spend time alone.' He then made his way inside and into his room. Walking over to the window, he stared out at the surrounding area. It was definitely a dark place to be and castle of nightmares fit perfectly. 'I hope Riku and Ritsu stay safe.'
To say this young woman was pissed was an understatement. She was livid. She had her sights set on those twins and then they disappeared. How could she loose the two most influential people that could help Niflheim win this war? She stumbled upon a castle and thought to take a look inside. She needed a place to rest for a hot minute and cool herself off. But maybe she would just make this castle her base of operations while she hunted for those pesky Tsuruga twins."Once I get my hands on Riku and Ritsu, I will make sure they will regret everything."Aiko threw open the door and let herself in. It looked quite empty and she smirked. Just the kind of place the Emperor would love. For now, she needed to begin prepping for her new base of operations. Then she will bring her squad over and begin coming up with a plan on how to capture those twins. She made her way to the throne room and sat down in the throne. It was quite comfortable."So this is what it is like to sit on a throne. Maybe I can be the ruler of this castle and the Emperor will have to listen to me when he is here."Her laugh echoed through the room.

Rayne kept his hood up and continued to stare out the window, taking notice to the red-haired girl. 'Who is that? I need to be careful and find out more about her.' Making sure to keep his face hidden, he made his way into the throne room. He kept to the shadows, keeping his gaze on the girl. 'Of course she would find her way in her. Dimitri wouldn't be too happy to see her on his throne.' Gripping his gun, he waited to see what she would do next.
She turned to face the intruder in "her" new throne room and threw a dagger at him."I heard you grab your gun, so I know you are there."Aiko smirked. She lounged in the throne like it was meant for her."Come on out so we can talk. Or do you like holes in you before talking?"She drew out a gun and twirled it around her finger. She aimed it at where Rayne was, just making him out in the shadows upon standing.

Rayne glared and walked out of the shadows, keeping his hand on his gun and dodging the dagger. "You should't be here and it is unwise to underestimate my abilities."'I can't let her see my face.' The girl seemed to be quite comfortable on the throne, which would cause more problems. She seemed a little cocky, but he knew better than to underestimate anyone. "We have nothing to talk about. Now leave."
She laughed as she sat back down."I'm afraid I can't do that. This place is my new base of operations. And vermin like you are a nuisance. Now you leave before I send you out in pieces."Aiko's face became quite serious and glared down at him. Who was this person to order her around."Or....we can work out a deal. A "I scratch your back and you scratch mine" sort of deal."She looked away and fiddled with her gun, checking the actions and the springs. She didn't like taking no for an answer, but she might make an exception with this boy, but he wouldn't be staying here.

Rayne glared a little and gripped his gun even tighter. "Sorry sweetheart, but this place is already taken. You are the one that is trespassing."'For once in my life, I actually want Dimitri and Shadira to be here. I have no idea what she is capable of, but I have to stand my ground and show no fear.' He stood ready to fight back if necessary, making sure to keep his gaze locked on the girl. "This is my home and I will defend it."'That is a little strange for me to stay, but this is home. I've been here for a long time, so I might as well call it that.'
She looked over to him and smirked."You're home you say. Then why do I sense doubt in your voice."Aiko stood up out of the throne and walked over to the boy, her gun gripped in her hand, ready to shoot should he make a move."I do have a proposal though, would you care to hear it?"She drew closer to him and her blue eyes tried to find the eyes of the one she was approaching to look into them. She would use her dark magic should he resist.

"That is not my decision to make." Rayne said, pulling his gun out a little. 'Why did I have to go and say that? Now things are just going to get worse. What should I do?' He took a step back into the shadows in an attempt to keep his face hidden. At this point, he was starting to become afraid of the girl. "Who are you?"
She continued her walk forwards. She wanted to see him."If this is your house, why do you keep shying away from me? I'm not gonna harm you. I'm just searching for some people. Of course, if you want to help me, I can give you some more information."Aiko kept her gun at her side, not daring to raise it for fear of him thinking she was becoming aggressive."And my name is of no importance. But I am a General."She was tempted to use her dark magic to bind him but she enjoyed the thrill of the chase.

Rayne backed away some more and pulled his cloak down tighter. "One can never be too cautious. Searching for some people?" He didn't fully trust the girl, but he was interested in knowing who she was looking for. "I don't even know your name. Why would I help you?"'I have a really bad feeling about her.'
She smirked and waved her hand. Dark tendrils were sent out to him."Aiko. That's all you need to know. But now stop in your tracks so we can talk."Aiko turned her finger around in a circle, making the tendrils begin to wrap around the boy."Of course, one would also give their name when asking for another's."She would bind him for now, get what she wanted, and then begin the chase.
