It happened far too quickly, but a note happened to sneak its way into the backpacks/handbags of certain students, telling them to be at the parking lot at 7:30 PM if they wanted to see their classmates again—or don’t, and they wouldn’t see the light of day, but the choice was theirs. It was amazing what could happen during the average Monday (April 2nd). It was only the start of their school week, but by then it was already obvious to the students that the students who went missing weren’t going to be found by any conventional means. March 22nd marked the silly stadium accent where a few students magically disappeared. It had already exceeded a week and they weren’t found, so times were desperate, and no one seemed to have a clue where they were, except for whoever left the notes.
Charlie's life since the museum and the football game had flipped around faster than a gymnast or a politician. Sure it ended well with him under the tutelage of Olyimpia. She had caught him stealing to pay the bills but instead of ruining his family life and sending him to jail, she offered to help as long as he stopped stealing. She would help him to use his teleporting better and for good this time. He more formally met the costumed hero that had fought the beast with him named Margot. Outside of costume he knew she was a cheerleader and her friend Zach was among those missing. He had met the guy but did know him well. Unfourtunally some of the others where missing still too What happened? Why can't the police find them? He was getting in to his bag in class when he found a note. He read it and was suprised by its content. He waited till class was over barely able to pay attention. As soon as possible Charlie texted Margot telling her about the note and that he would meet up and she can come too.

Since they were given notes in school, there was no point donning the costume. It was likely that the person knew she was the hero who arrived at the stadium, or at least expected her to do something about the missing students. Who would’ve guessed that the students were just taken away? As soon as she found the note in her purse, she was anxious all throughout the last class of the school day; her classmates had to snap her back into reality, and she had to dismiss their worries.
It came as a relief from her teleporting friend when he mentioned receiving a note, too. For all she knew, it was some creeper waiting for her in the parking lot, so at least if they got kidnapped by the boogeyman, she had someone to help her perform some ridiculous escape. He could teleport, and she couldn’t exactly deflect sneakiness. As soon as she was out of the house and in her car (a red Toyota Yaris), she texted him to inform him she was on her way there.
Without her costume, she felt slightly less brave, because she couldn’t just bust out her powers for fear of being discovered by some passerby, though she was rocking the school’s hooded letterman in her outfit. Unusually, the parking lot was empty at the time, so she must’ve been the first to arrive. While she got out of her car, she had both of her hands in her pockets, pepper spray in the right hand and a rape whistle in the left hand as she cautiously walked around. What would it be this time: vampires, ninjas, vampire ninjas?
7:15pm. Yea Charlie should have left already but he had to convince his dad he wasnt out to go back to stealing. He convinced him by not wear clothes he would normally use to be sneaky. So here he was on a warmer than usual April night in tan shorts and a shirt that had a pattern on it. He got far enough from the house and out of view to use his own unique way of travel. He dissapeared from behind one dumpster and appeared behind another near thier meet spot. He walked over to Margot. "Hey, so got the same note?" Charlie said showing her his. Where they the same or would they have differant messages.

"Hey, mom. I'm going to be a little late getting home today. Y'know, band practice and all. What? I've always been in band. I just have had a lot more super stuff on my mind. I mean, I know we agreed on no more super st-, right. I'll stay out of trouble and be home soon. Bye."
After the museum disaster and the chaotic night at the game, Thomas' parents sat the new fledged super down one night in between to discuss the horrible happenings that surrounded their child. They didn't think too highly of superheroes and found Thomas' interest in them to outweigh his school life. He couldn't believe their happiness when they came to the conclusion that Thomas wouldn't be allowed to discuss or entertain anything super related within their household. As far as they know, that night at the game Thomas took off as fast as he could and hid a few blocks away from whatever the hell that thing was. They had no idea he had powers and he planned to keep it that way, they didn't want to nor would they try to understand it all.
After receiving a mysterious note in his backpack some time before school came to an end, Thomas was put on edge. He saw things that day at the stadium, like The Wendigo not being the only source of their problem. Why he didn't act on it he'll never know. He had powers now and felt like he could do so much and then some. So why did this anonymous note spook him so much? Nearing 7:30, Thomas paced back and forth a street away from the school where it was intended that they meet. "I can't be the only one who got this. Isabella, maybe Roman? They both have powers, they were both there for all of it, I can't be alone in this." Thomas stopped for a moment, his nervous jitters coming to a halt as he took in a deep breath and exhaled. He had avoided Isabella and Roman all day, mostly because he rarely ever saw them and this note had his mind wandering. The missing students had been the topic of the past few days with all sorts of speculation as to where they went. One of them was even taken from their homes.
Can't be that bad, Thomas. Just go. Within less than a few seconds, thanks to the teleporter's ability, Thomas had appeared in the parking lot, holding onto the straps of his backpack as he stepped around and into the center, soon approaching the other two. "That's good. So others have seen this?" He said, dangling the note between two fingertips.
It made her a bit nervous when two more walked in, even fiddling with the pepper spray container in her hand, but they both had the notes, and she recognized their faces. “It’s the same note for all of us, I guess. It’s 7:28; I wonder if they’re watching us right now,” she said aloud, though it may have been her paranoia talking. If they wanted them to be there, odds were they would’ve wanted to be on time, not arrive literally the second it reached 7:30, hence why she suspected they were already there, watching, maybe hiding in one of the cars that were parked.

Roman was in History class when he found his note. He was in fourth period at the time taking out a notebook when the letter fell out of his bag and onto the floor. To be honest he probably wouldn't have known anything about a meeting had it not been for one of his classmates letting him know he'd dropped said note. See, cause there was a lot on his mind. From finding out he was a super, to some were-bear-wolf thing crashing the championship game and attacking people, to Regina getting taken by the aforementioned were-beast-thing. It was too much to wrap his head around. And now here they were back in school acting like everything was fine. Only it wasn't.
This was the second event to happen here at Chicago high. First, the museum situation and now missing students. What was next? A town serial killer who's super power is slow walking, teleporting probably, and carrying a butcher's knife? Now you might be thinking- that's from a horror movie! - but hell so were were-wolves til just about a week ago. So anything was deemed possible in Roman's eyes. Anyway back to the note, he picked it up confused how it even found its way into his bag in the first place. He unfolded the note and as he began to read, a sigh escaped him. It said to be at a parking lot at 7pm if they wanted to see their classmates again. He sighed because there was really no other way to go about this. All he knew was that he had to go. For his classmates and for Regina.
He spent the rest of the day thinking about the note from that point on. He looked for Thomas but had the feeling the other boy was avoiding him just as he'd been doing all week. He wasn't really subtle about it. And Isabella. he'd not spoken to since the night of the game either aside from glancing her way during transitional periods. Roman wondered who else got a note. Was it just the three of them? He couldn't really recall too many others present that night. You know, with the were-beast-buck running around. Guess he would just have to go and find out.
A little later after football practice, he found himself paling around with the guys before checking the time. s**t. 7:20. I almost forgot."Hey guys I just remembered I have somewhere I need to be. I'll catch up with you tomorrow." said Roman running off towards the parking lot in hopes he wouldn't be late. He arrived at 7:29 panting having ran all the way here. "I'm...not.." he breathed in between words. "...late...right?" he finally got out standing up straight so more air could feel his nostrils and lungs.

Walking into where the rest were, Isabella glanced at all directions being wary of who was there. Thomas, that football guy, the cheerleader, the guy that reappears and disappears, was she missing anyone else? Of course they'd recognize the thunder wielding heroine, right? She had been requested to come to this place of meeting by whoever, but she didn't come unprepared; her taser was charged and its juice was enough to electrocute a person just enough for her to escape but this was in question of an emergency weapon; she could still manipulate a spark or electrons in the atmosphere.
The note she had in one hand was the request and as she noticed--all the others had it too. She found it in her backpack after one of the class days had finished and figured why not? Her mom wouldn't be worried--always swamped up at the office with work. And her father? Well, he was dead technically. Being the only child felt great as you could imagine, but she did want that thrill of handing back bad guy's asses to them. It was shocking to her, you could say.
"Did I miss anything? Oh--hey, Thomas...Roman..? Umm? You two are?" Her voice became questionable as soon as her finger pointed to the teleport and the one whom was their the night of the game and saved them; but they both did, this was fact.

When the gang arrived, their watcher, whom had been patiently observing, appeared on a nearby vehicle in a flash of blue lightning that danced around her body every few moments. She was leaning on the vehicle, arms crossed, and though she didn’t look like the most trustworthy stranger, she was the one responsible for the letters. “It took you all long enough, but let’s get down to business: rescuing your friends. I know where they are; I saw where they were taken.” With that said, she pulled herself up from the vehicle and took one step forward. “I hope you all came prepared to fight, because you have four hours until they’re transported away. As of now, they’re probably sealed up in pods, ready to be shipped away. You’ll find them at Paradise Bay, inside the old Newton-Berkeley Warehouse. Last I checked, there were armed guards. Don’t ******** up. Any questions? And make ‘em quick. I’ve got places to be.” She was very straightforward and blunt; she told them they needed to be there to figure out how to save their classmates, and that’s exactly what she did.

Quite the turnout thought Roman while surveying the individuals present. "Did I miss anything? Oh--hey, Thomas...Roman..? Umm? You two are?" Roman nodded his head in response to her uncompleted question. "Apparently we all did." he answered. Shortly after his answer though another's voice entered the fray causing him to..wait she wasn't there just a second ago?. thought Roman. “It took you all long enough, but let’s get down to business: rescuing your friends. I know where they are; I saw where they were taken.” right to the point was fine for him but who the hell was this. Roman was almost positive this person hadn't even been present for Friday's event and if they were; why not help?! Judging from the costume and all they had to be a pro.

"Any questions? Yeah just a few. For starters, who the hell are you? Why were our classmates taken in the first place? And why are you wording all of this like you're not going to help?" asked Roman. It was safe to say he was irritated. First this lighting lady appears out of thin air and then without a introduction of any kind, tells them they have to do this, that, and the third. Ro for one, wasn't having it. She was going to have to do better. For all he knew this was her grand plan to lead them back to that wild beast thing and finish the job from Friday's game.

Surely enough, the most predictable questions came, and she quickly responded with, “Who I am doesn’t matter. I’m not the expert on why they were taken, but I’ll bet it’s because of their powers. Nobody tells you this, but there’s some boogeymen out there who like to hunt young, powerful supers. I would know—they came for me, too. As for me, they’re no friends of mine, and I would rather not get hunted down and killed behind closed doors if I piss them off, so I guess it’s your problem now. Of course, you could always leave them there to be experimented on—poked, prodded, and eventually killed if they’re no longer useful; it doesn’t matter to me.” He seemed to suspect that she didn’t plan to partake, and he was correct. She had only been a bystander, and she preferred to stay that way. There was no way she’d risk her own skin to go and play a hero for a bunch of super-powered teenagers, but there was something to gain if she tipped them off. Hopefully they would be competent enough to succeed, but if they failed, they would still prove useful.
A brief smile swept across Thomas' face as both Isabella and Roman appeared not long after him. The situation was slightly more bearable with people he knew and or slightly knew. Not to discredit the cheerleader and Charle of course, he was sure that they were nice people or at least willing to risk their lives for this. They did show up after all. The arrival of the newcomer appearing alongside a car only slightly startled Thomas, a product of being exposed to a lot more daunting and astonishing things in the last month. Nonetheless, his brain was already working away at trying to deduce what power she held within her. With how quick she came onto the scene, he suspected super speed though the lightning said otherwise. An investigation for another time, there were more important matters at hand.
Thomas wanted to chime in at some point after she had basically become their mission handler all of a sudden. The woman seemed to be pointing them in the right directions, giving warnings, hints, and things to look out for to ensure success..but she wasn't going to help? "So we get them off your back, probably wreck whatever facility they're operating in but in the process save those that were captured? Sounds like if we piss them off, our lives only get harder. Wait minute, did they send that thing after us?" It would explain the random appearance of the beast on the field and the mysterious foe that raised the earth to combat a few of the teens. "No one is leaving anyone back with those guys, at least I'm not. If there's still time, we still have a shot, right? The numbers too?" Thomas looked back to all those present. He didn't pretend to know how strong their bonds with the people captured were but he assumed they all came for a reason, they knew something was up, and they wanted to do something about it.
Having powers was definitely a confidence booster but even so, if they could unleash something like that beast at the snap of a finger, who knew what else they had locked away. The thought of it was nerve racking if he were to be outwardly honest.

Charlie greeted others as they arrived and giving his name when prompted. He had helped Thomas test the new powers and so Charlie was not to only one teleporting to the meeting. The meet and greet were short lived when a costumed super showed up. If she was a speedster it made sense how the note mysteriously appeared. While he had questions the others seemed to ask for him. He was more taking notes on this person's appearance just in case they wound need to know. He started to think it was a trap. It would be an unnecessarily elaborate one considering some were already missing. He did have one question. "Why are they trying to kidnap us supers and test on us, how can we be sure you not delivering us to them all gift wrapped?" He asked once everyone got the answers. "Why should we trust your info?"
“If there’s still time, we still have a shot, right?”
“You’ve got tonight. Afterwards, I’m betting it’ll be much harder to find them next time—if there is a next time.”
“How can we be sure you’re not delivering us to them all gift wrapped?”
It was funny he asked, and she chuckled for a moment before responding, “I guess you can’t, and frankly, I don’t care. What choice do you have, anyway? Also, if I were you, I wouldn’t touch your phone. If you try to call the cops—they’ll know.”
