Helia walked in his dorm and laid down on the bed. His stuff sat on the floor, until he was ready to fix things the way he wanted. Sighing, he stared up at the ceiling and put his arms under his head. 'It doesn't matter to me what that girl thinks. I can't play for anyone ever again. There's no point in doing so anymore. Playing for them won't bring back what I lost.' He then closed his eyes, not noticing the stream of shadow fire coming towards him. Within an instant, he felt a sharp pain within his chest. 'What's going on?' At that moment, he began to sweat heavily.
'Let the darkness take over. You can't escape who you are. Who you truly are. There is no escaping your fate. I will be set free.'

Lizzy soon found herself in front of the boys dorm. Ignoring all rules, she made her way to....him...Oh how she was wishing it was Alec, but no. It was this guy, but that wasn't the issue. The Darkness was consuming him. She ran over to him and started shaking him."Hey. Wake up. Do NOT give in to the darkness. The darkness is not for you."She wasn't sure how long he had been ingulfed in it, but she had to try. As much as he annoyed her, she wasn't going to let him be consumed by the darkness. She saw what it did to her father, she wasn't going to let it happen to others. She looked around to see if she could see the source of the darkness. She tightened the cloak and got ready to shoot the moment she found it.

Helia continued to sweat, until he felt someone shaking him. He had only closed his eyes, but it felt like he had been sleeping for hours. Quickly opening his eyes, he took a look around the room. Taking notice to the girl he had met earlier, he sighed a little. "What are you doing here?"'What came over me? It was like my entire body was on fire. And where did that other voice come from?' At that moment, he took off his shirt and wiped the sweat off his face. "I don't need your help."

Lizzy heard him stir and she holstered her gun in her thigh holster. She looked over to him."Trust me, I'm not happy to be here either."She walked to his window and looked around outside, there was nothing. When he said he didn't need her help, she spun around and stormed over to him. She leaned in dangerously close and spoke low to him."You were about to be consumed by darkness. You may not think you need it but I am not about to walk away."She ignored the shirtless him, but it didn't help that he wasn't bad looking. Mentally shaking her head, she moved away and walked back to the window."I am not going to let someone else be consumed by the darkness. Never again...."Her gaze became distant. She was remembering her father's recent fall. It was the first time she had ever saw him like that. From the time she was 9 to when she was 16, she had to watch him be consumed by his past and the darkness together. She swore the day he came out of it that she was never going to let another person sink that low. No matter if they felt like they needed her help or not.

Helia glared a little and turned to face the wall. His life was none of her business and he wanted her to leave him alone. He then threw his shirt on the floor and glanced back at her. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Just leave me alone." Was it too much to ask to be alone? Helia wouldn't admit it, but the girl was right. He was always able to sense a darkness within him. It had been that way for the past 3 years. The day he lost the one loved most, was when the darkness began to form. Someone or something was messing with his life and he needed to find out why. What did someone have to gain from his suffering? 'I'm lying to her. It's not like it's any of her business anyway. Helia smirked and glanced back at her, taking notice to her fists. Over the last few years, he didn't care what he said to anyone. How many people had he made angry or upset? It wasn't like he wanted to hurt people, but he couldn't seem to help it. 'I don't think that at all. It's not safe for anyone to be around me.'"I don't believe in fate girl. Lizzy was clearly frustrated at him. Not because he didn't believe in fate, not everyone does, but he just irritates her. She wouldn't admit it, but she was somewhat enjoying it. He challenged her, made her think on her feet."I don't care what you care about...but I will continue to come running when the darkness tries to take hold."Her fists relaxed as her hair fell into her face. She walked to the door. She couldn't take another one falling into the darkness like her father did."I will not let another one fall into the state I had to watch for 7 years."She opened his door. She dared to steal one last glance back at him, the tears more apparent from the memory of her father."Safety is not an issue."She walked out the door and slammed his door behind her, but not moving rom behind it. Why did she just show him her emotions. She swore that she wasn't going to get close enough to anyone to show her emotions, even when she was helping others, but he.....he was different. Maybe he reminded her of her father.....who knows.

She stood there, leaning against the door for a while, listening. Wiping her tears, after a while, she pushed off the door and made her way out of the boys dorm. She needed to clear her head. She looked back towards the dorm and looked to where she presumed was his window."Helia, I don't care what you say. I am not going to let you become like my father."She then took off running, not really caring where her feet took her. ~Exit~

Helia finished his song and walked over to the window, watching Lizzy take off. "I don't need help from anyone. You'll die if you stay around me." He leaned back against the wall, unaware of the little shadow ant. 'At least it's just me in here for now. I would be happier if I had a room to myself.' In truth, he was happy that Lizzy had been there. Helia wanted to open up more, but his fear was stronger than that want.
'Look at how pathetic you are. You're just a frightened little boy. The darkness will free you from that fear. All you have to do is give in. Let it consume your heart. It is what you want after all. They all see the monster within you.'

Helia was a little surprised by the voice he was hearing. He had heard the voice before, but was never sure where it came from. Upon hearing the voice, he quickly looked around the room. 'Give in to the darkness. No. That's not what I want. Who the hell are you?' Within a matter of seconds, he fell to his knees and cried out in pain. 'What's going on?'
'I am you boy. Think of me as all of your inner emotions, the darker ones of course. I am an image of all your anger and sadness. There is no hiding from me any longer. One way or another, I will take control and you will cease to exist.'

Lizzy stood outside Helia's room looking at the door. She was prepared to knock when an intense movement happened. It flooded her senses almost. Her adrenaline kicked in when she heard Helia cry out. She tried the door handle and she found it gave way to her and she ran in and right to his side."Helia....Helia! Fight it. You have to, you aren't a monster. You are Helia, Alec's friend. You have people who care about you."Lizzy felt her cloak reacting to the darkness. It longed for the darkness.

Helia started to calm down a little as he felt someone close to him. Everything the voice said continued to echo in his mind. 'I should just let it.....' Before he could finish his thought, he heard someone speaking to him. Someone who wasn't in his head at all. 'Lizzy.'"Get out of my head!!!!" He cried out once more and curled up close to Lizzy. Snapping out of it, he looked up and noticed the one that started speaking to him. "Why are you here?"
