Name: [ℕamira (means leopard)] Race: [Pure Alkidike] Gender: [Alkidike.] Orientation: Alkidike and Elaria Height: 6'7'' 3 Base Traits: [Zealous, Passionate, Merciless.] Personality: Namira is a radical extremist. Her family moved from Chibale to Yael when she was a youngling and she was raised in the extremist/elarian camp. Being the youngest Alkidike in the village she grew up with the Elaria blooms and considers them her closest family and sisters. Her heart aches for her mothers who were banished from Aisha and their home. She believes the Chibale Alkidike chose earthlings and hybrids over their own kin and in doing so damned Aisha and all she stands for. Namira is arguably the most loyal the Elarian cause than any other Alkidike. She has a deep hatred of hybrids and earthlings. She considers them animals and does not recognize them as "people". She thinks the Alkidike of Chibale are weak minded and have corrupted Aisha with their requests and acceptance of hybrids. Elzira is the new goddess, the one who will correct the wrongs of the alkidike through the elarian race. Being alkidike herself, her feelings are mixed and she shows much self-loathing because of it. She is afraid something might be inherently wrong with her so she does her best to remain loyal and overcompensates for her perceived weakness. She follows Elzira radically and will scorn any who show lack of faith.
Outside of religion and politics, Namira is a normal alkidike who enjoys swimming, rock and tree climbing, and playing/sparing with her sisters/cousins. She has developed a bit of shyness with the elaria as she began to realize she may never good enough to be considered a sister. This has made her a bit more emotional as a young adult and she seeks the support of her peers for comfort and reassurance. She wants to be the best elaria she can be despite her yellow skinned shortcomings.
Description: [She has long thick dreads which she is terribly proud of. she uses stringed beads to hold them back and behind her shoulders. she wears little to no clothing. (often topless) she may have sleeves and shin guards in later stages. her markings on her face take shape of a half skull with long teeth. three stroke markings on the tops of her hands and feet, and tribal bands around each thigh and arms. her ears are gauged and her left ear has a chunk missing.]

History: [Why does she feels so strongly about her beliefs and what made her hate so deeply? She was born of Aisha like all true alkidike. Her mothers prayed for a strong daughter, they were both passionate warriors who shared their love for the battlefield. They were disgusted by their sisters and sided with the extremists during the Alkidike split. They brought Namira to Yael as a youngling and have instilled their beliefs and deep hatred of earthlings and mix-alks into her.
Namira grew up with the stories from her mothers, and remembers only a little from her original homeland. Although she has made Yael her home, she feels betrayed by her Alkidike sisters and detests them for their misguided actions. He hopes to one day go back and show them what a true Alkidike warrior looks like. ]
Expanded:
- She thinks the Elaria are purified versions of Alkidike. (i will try to explain her reasoning below)
- I think her mothers would be a little uncertain about the Elaria at first, only because they look so different and they would be uncertain about the future. They would be hesitant to completely leave Aisha behind them despite their grievances with the other Alkidike. Over time they accepted that the best way to stay true to their goddess was to worship her daughter tree and accept it as the natural progression of Aisha's lineage. They would see Elzira as a separate extension of Aisha (I assume most do?) that has grown to guide them in a time a darkness. (I think they ultimately believe Elzira will lead them back to Aisha in some sort of glorious way)
Namira would be undoubtedly influenced by her mother's views and beliefs about Aisha and Elzira. Although I think she would try to merge the views into one. She sees Aisha and Elzira as being two sides of the same goddess. As Elzira continues to grow she hopes one day the roots of the separate trees will join together under the earth and be one again. She sees Elzira as a purifying force both in a literal and spiritual sense. He hopes that one day Aisha will be purified once again but by the power of Elzira thorugh the Elaria.
(while all those are just long-term theological ideas, Namira is aware she is not a mystic and knows she could be completely wrong)
Because of Elzira's origins being from Aisha, she cannot separate the two in her mind. She would hesitate to call the Elaria cousins because of this. She views the Elaria as her sisters, she believes the same force brought them into existence just as she was. She knows this isn't the most popular or correct view and would probably say cousin out of politeness.
- She thinks the reason Alk children look like Elaria is because they are being purified by Elzira. Whatever it was in them that caused them to be weak spirited before has been removed. (so while she still thinks alk are perfect she recognizes something had changed or gone wrong over time, hence why they were given Elzira to set them on the right path again)
I had hoped to work through some of this in solo's because I think at times she would feel sad knowing her yellow and green skin would eventually be replaced with grey and pink (on Yael anyway). She is still proud of who and what she is, she only wishes the other alks could stay as pure as she believes the Elaria to be. She would probably go through periods of doubt and self-loathing about it as well (viewing herself as being somehow lesser).
If Namira were to get to a point where she could pray for a child, she would be overjoyed that it would be Elaria.
I hope as I work with her through solos she will develop a more concrete view of things. As of right now, she's got a bag of mixed feelings, some strong and some not so. Her rp's and interactions with Elaria would certainly shape her further in alignment with them, as she is rather impressionable at this stage in her life.
