 Darting through the cross walk, paper bags rustling, Dottie was panting heavily as she tried to catch the last few minutes of the pedestrian light. It was a particularly busy time of day, deep in the city during the lunch hour. Dottie had completed all her errands for her mistress and master for the day; dropped their kids at school along with their homemade lunches; picked up the dry cleaning; stopped in at the bank to handle the finances; bought the groceries. Check, check and check! Now, like many of the nightmares and daydreams bustling around, it was time to relax and grab a small bite to eat. Dottie had found herself wiggling her way in to her favourite post, using her hip to nudge open the door and set her bags down on the counter. It was a beautiful yet quaint vegetarian eatery that specialized in high tea. Dottie wasn't a vegetarian, but the food was so delicious and the tea so spectacular that she couldn't help but to keep coming back. "Hello ... !" Dottie said breathlessly to the individual behind the counter, the short woman peering over her brown paper bags. "Would it be possible to place an order? Ah! For here, of course ... please, don't mind the bags ... "

 Sakurako was already in the shop when the neko came in, Sakurako was sitting down at a salad and a cup of rosehips tea. Sakurako looked over the neko who clearly had her arms full at the moment. She calmly went over and softly cleared her throat being careful of where her three tails were so she didn't trip the other being. "Excuse me?? Would you like me to hold your bags while you order??" Sakurako offered politely her voice soft and calm as she stood near the neko waiting to see if she would accept help from a kumiho. Some kumiho didn't like other races so it was entirely possible that other races might not like kumiho. Sakurako had lived in a fairly large village where she had her own tea house, looking around the modern classy vegetarian eatery confirmed more for Sakurako that she needed the business degree she was studying for to stay above water in the Below business world.

The woman behind the counter seemed to have her hands full, making several pots of tea in one go, another hand deftly plating tiers of food without so much as a glance at the platter. A small hum escaped the neko, concerned for the demon. They seemed flustered, and yet too busy to stop. "I'll be with you in a moment," said the grimm, not stopping to look over her shoulder. "Take your time, hon. I'll go find a spot to sit while you ... " Dottie cast a glance over her shoulder as the sound of someone approaching captured her attention. "Hmmn ... ?"Dottie's fur prickled a little, standing up on edge , able to feel someone's closeness. Dottie turned, large eyes blinking curiously, fur settling as she was met with the sweet face of a kumiho. Dottie's left ear flicked as the other woman spoke, pondering for a moment. "Normally I would say no, but ... " Dottie looked to the hostess bustling about behind them, recognizing a bit of herself in the grimm. Busy and unable to stop. Yet a little help always went such a long way ... "I think I will take you up on that offer, actually. Thank you. I think if I can just get these carried over to an empty table that will suffice. This is very kind of you ... "The neko scooped as many bags as she could in to her tired arms, giving a soft sigh. Her back was aching fiercely, but the day wasn't even half over yet.

Sakurako made note of how many servers were in the shop, she would need more than this since she wanted to have a calmer setting for her tea shop. She felt bad for the beings trying to run this cafe and not doing such a great job at it with so many beings wanting things and so few workers. She frowned seeing the nekos hair standing on end she hadn't meant to frighten them. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." She said in a polite tone. She smiled a little when the neko accepted her offer. Sakurako took some of the bags and helped the neko to a table. She bowed her head as a sign of respect. A little nervous now, she wondered if she should introduce herself or just excuse herself and let the neko enjoy their afternoon. Her three tails moved about behind her in a nervous gesture. "Umm well your welcome.." Then she moved to go get her own tea and find a table.

"Oh, no dear, you didn't scare me!" Dottie offer a polite, friendly little laugh as she hoisted her bags up a big higher on her hips. Dottie had no idea that her fur had been ruffled or on edge, nor any idea the look the look she had given the kumiho. As far as Dottie was concerned she had given no indication of being spooked. In truth, Dottie was quite the scaredy cat. Hips swaying from side to side, being mindful of the tables, chairs and their occupants, Dottie made her way to the back of the room and settled her bags on the floor. "Phew!" Dottie wiped the sweat from her brow with her paw. The neko turned to take the rest of the bags from the kumiho, but the woman had already set them down and had offered her welcomes and was heading off. Dottie blinked at this, stopping to ponder for a moment. Poor dear ... the woman must be a bit awkward. Well, nothing a friendly smile won't fix!"Pardon me, dear, but before you run off — did you care to have a spot of tea with me?"

Sakurako was glad she hadn't frightened the neko, that wouldn't have been good after all. Sakurako smiled a little she was happy to have been helpful and even more please when the neko invited her to have tea with them. Since she hadn't made any friends yet in the Below it was a very nice invitation indeed. "I would love to, I'm Sakurako. What sort of tea did you wish to have?" She asked wondering if the neko had similar tea tastes to Sakurako or if she would prefer ordering a pot of tea for herself. She wasn't sure if she was in the mood for green tea or a fruit flavored tea that day. She intended to serve all sorts of types of tea in her tea house after she got her degree from the university.

Dottie beamed quite happily at the other woman as their spirits seemed to lift. It was encouraging to see the other woman soften a little, to relax. "It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Dottie. Please, have a seat, Sakurako!" The neko gestured to the empty seat on the opposite side of the table, taking a seat in the chair next to the bags. Dottie's eyes wandered away for a brief moment as she spotted a rather flushed looking demon scuttle in to the eatery, frantically tying on an apron as the grimm who seemed stuck behind the counter sighed with relief, body visibly sagging as a wave of relief washed over her. The two exchanged a few words before swapping places, the grimm girl making their way over towards their table with a renewed smile. Dottie returned her attention to Sakurako, offering a small bow smile. "Oh, I haven't had a chance to even look at the tea menu yet!" It was true that Dottie had been to the spot a million times, but all of their teas were top shelf. They were the best of the best. The grimm finally arrived at their table. giving a polite half bow. "Thank you so much for your patience," she said with a well composed, courteous smile. "What can I get you today?"The pale blue neko shifted in her seat, reclining in to the large seat. "Hmmn ... I think ... I'll do your golden assam today, please. As for food, I'd love your pear and blue cheese panini, if I may!" The grimm nodded before turning to the kumiho. "Did you wish for me to bring your tea over from the other table while I go to grab your friend's food?"

Sakurako smiled and said "It is delightful to meet you as well Dottie." After being offered a seat she sat down across from Dottie. Sakurako looked up to see the shift change, that must have been why things hadn't been going so smoothly. The staff must have been really tired working all day. "Do you suppose it's best to have a lot of staff members to make things easier, or less staff so fewer get more tips?" She pondered as she continued thinking about her own tea house she planned to open. "I'm planning to open my own tea house after I graduate from the university." She said softly, then smiled at Dottie when she mentioned the tea menu. She opened a menu and started looking at the selections. She smiled at the grimm wait staff member and listened to what Dottie ordered. "I would like the golden assam as well, but I would like two cherry tarts with it instead." She said in a friendly tone. She saw no reason to be mean to someone who worked so hard. "Oh thank you I am a muddle head, I forgot about the tea I already ordered, yes please bring it over." Her pink cheeks blushed red.
