Li was headed for Uli's room, having heard that the family was visiting the inn again, meaning that his friend should be around! It had been a little while since he'd seen Uli and he wanted nothing more then to chat with his good friend again. He hurried up the steps, his long skirt swishing around his ankles as he went. He came to a halt in front of Uli's door before he pushed it open, stepping inside, "Uli! Why didn't you tell me that you were here the moment that you got in?" He demanded of his friend as he stepped inside.

As he came to stand in the room he found himself starring at Uli who seemed to be starring down a pile of clothing? He blinked a couple times before he walked forward, coming to stand alongside his friend. Crossing is arms across his chest, head cocked to one side, and looked down at the stuff before him before he asked in a curious manner, "What are you up to, Uli? Planning on going on a date?"

Li gave a chuckle, lifting a hand up to ruffle Uli's hair, before he said, "I'm impressed, Uli, getting so brave as you get older. Actually propositioning an older man for a date." He gave him a playful wink before he turned to look at the sleeves that Uli seemed to be so obsessed with. A pair that on their own weren't so different from other clothing that he'd seen before... but it seemed that they had a story all their own, an important and sorid one at that.

"I see... interesting. So they are quite special to your family. I can see why you're having a hard time." He mused, looking them over.

As he said something about how girls decided so easily he started to laugh, petting Uli like one might a beloved pet, "Oh Chi... Uli you are too cute. Girls don't decide things easily, they make each move carefully, and with a lot of plotting ahead of time. They just act as though things are done easily so that we male types aren't aware of it." They wanted to appear as though it was something that just happened in an instant but he knew better given who his mother was.

Turning back to the sleeves he said, "If you don't have anything that feels right why not have something specially made? It's what a good seamstress is for."

"That makes sense, you've been around me since you just a little bitty thing after all." As though he was that much older then his friend or something. Still, it was his job to act older and more mature, so that he better fit the station in life that he was meant to occupy one day. His friend on the other hand... it seemed that he meant to be a mage, one that training under someone named Elfani. Odd, why would he not train under Uncle Makani or Aunt Sin'qua? Did he not want to rely to much on those of the inn, perhaps?

Resting his hands on his hips Li turned and studied his friend closely before he said, "Hmmm... I'd assume so? My only frame of reference for mages is Uncle Makani and Aunt Sin'qua and they are quite different... so... I'd say that you're looking like a flashier sort of mage then the two of them are." Something that made him smile just a bit.

As he mentioned his desire to throw himself fully into magic to help Li and the inn he couldn't help but to smile, "Any and all of your magical help would be a great boon to the inn. So any time you're wanting to stop by and help out I'm all for it. I'm sure my mother would be as well. Especially with you dressed up so cutely." It would help with bringing in customers though oddly he wasn't sure how much he liked the idea of people starring at Uli, a thought that he mentally quashed since it was so odd and made no sense to him. He would need to find entertainers after all to help out in the inn and one couldn't entertain if they weren't seen.

Li watched as his friend continued to fiddle with his look, changing out of his pants into a skirt of his own, and he gave a bit of a smile, "A dance or two, huh? Hmm... well, a dancing mage would be quite interesting." He said, thinking on it for a moment. A nice, flashy dance, filled with magical accompaniment, it would be something worth seeing. He was sure that would draw a crowd.

"Huh? I see... well, consider chatting with Uncle Makani since his own magic is a bit odd. Maybe he can offer you some aid as well. Not about to force you to or anything though." He said, waving a hand in a dismissive manner. No reason to force him to do anything when he wanted to walk a path of his own... though fro the sounds of it the path might end up leading Uli back here again. Giving a bit of a chuckle he lifted a hand to ruffle Uli's hair before he said, "Well, I've pretty much wanted you to be a part of our group since you were little. Even more so when you started to show interest in magic."

Shrugging a shoulder he said, "Not that I want you only for your magic or anything." He said with a reassuring smile. As he went to look in his jewelry box, trying to pick something out, Li said, "If you're really planning on learning a couple of dances then I would suggest something that jingles."

Li gave a nod of his head in an approving manner as Uli produced some anklets that had little bells on them, "Those look as though they would work out well." He said, giving him a smile, settling down on the bed as he took the offered jewelry, "Alright, give me one of your ankles." He said, patting his lap once he'd settled down comfortably.

"You will want to get another one of these if possible, that way you can have two on each ankle. For now though we will put them all on one ankle instead." Giving him a smile he set to work putting the delicate little piece of jewelry on Uli's ankle, " Along with these you will want something to accent your neck, a ring or two, and maybe a something cute to go around your waist? Just a couple things for you to consider."

Li gave a nod of his head, crossing his arms behind his head before laying back on the bed, "Yeah, it's been a while since we were able to do that. Since we started to realize that there were differences between boys and girls." He said with a bit of a chuckle. After that time Riya was no longer allowed to sleep in the same room as them... at least not when Li was there too. It was fine for her to hang out with Uli, they were siblings after all, but Li wasn't a blood relative meaning that he wasn't allowed after a certain age. Giving a bit of a chuckle he said, "I was pretty upset for a while. I understood to a degree but at the same time I didn't. Riya was my friend and suddenly I wasn't allowed to hang out with her as much."

He gave a bit of a shrug, "I understand it a bit more now of course, but past me wasn't too happy about it all." Of course past him also thought that the twins were his friends and his alone. Of course he'd be upset having something taken away from him when such things were rarely done where Li was concerned. He was a bit spoiled in that manner.

Looking over at Uli as he mentioned Riya being serious over the one called Ergon, to the point that they were going to end up together? As in together together? He gave a humming sound then said, "Huh... is that so? There is that greedy part of me that doesn't want to share my friend with some stranger but I suppose that is childish of me." At least he still had Uli for now? He seemed as though he meant to remain loyal to Li and the inn after all.

Li opened his eyes as his friend crawled over, coming to sit on him, and set about digging under the pillow for something. He watched for a moment before he asked, "What are you doing, Uli? Other then squishing me?" It took a moment but his friend found himself a headband, pulling it on, and made it so that he could better see Li. Perhaps his bangs were in the way? That or he was just wanting to squish him?

Giving a smile he lifted a hand, petting Uli's hair as he settled back... though it seemed to be only for a moment as he was poking at his stomach and asking about the muscles he found there. Blinking a couple times he lifted up on his elbows, looking down at his stomach, then gave a shrug, "Ahh... yeah, most likely. Dancing keeps me in really good shape." He said a bit a bit of a smile before he laid back again, "You will end up in this sort of shape if you take up dancing. I'm not sure about the normal body shape of a mage though... you'd need to ask Uncle Makani about that."

He gave his friend a little poke in the side, giving a grin, before he crossed his arms under his head in a lazy manner. A side of himself that he rarely showed in front of anyone but close friends like Uli.
