Tucker wasn't exactly the fathering type. He had never really considered having children, and with his line of work, it would make for some very awkward conversations with a child. But, like most nightmares his age, Tucker felt 'the calling'. That urge to procreate. While he didn't feel that he was fit to be a father, he did wish to add to the cache. He figured it was the safest way to curb his urge, and then the child would go to an amazing home. There were lots of infertile people out there who were struggling to have their own children. If Tucker could provide an alternative option to them, then ... maybe he could feel a little less selfish than he usually came off.
So, Tucker filled out the appropriate forms and signed his name. He had already arranged a few weeks off work to recuperate, and had enough money stashed away to tide him over while he was unable to work. He was ready to do this. To know there was a child out there that he had helped create. Maybe one day he would seek his child out and see if they were interested in a friendship. That was really all Tucker could offer. He didn't have a structured life that a child needed, and so this was probably the best for both him and the future child. Then again, there was no way for Tucker to know if the child would be awakened in his lifetime. There was something odd and yet exciting about creating a mysterious legacy in one stone.
Tucker could do this.
