The private chambers of the eldest child of the Water Kingdom royal family. Mizuki's room is decorated with various pieces of furniture, her favorite of which being a large bookshelf that takes up an entire wall. Her room is quite spacious and is decorated in rich, deep hues of blue, green, purple and silver that compliment the aquarian nature of the castle and surrounding area.
The journey back to the castle took longer than expected. With the soldiers still searching for her and Pix, Mizuki had been forced to take the more indirect route home. It was fortunate that most of the guards were focusing their efforts within the town center. Fewer and fewer of them could be found on the roads leading out of the city, which significantly lowered the chances of them being spotted. Still though, she refused to become lax in her efforts. To become complacent could mean discovery. So the princess had opted to take the extra precaution of approaching from western slope. Her bedroom was located on this side and she would have easier access to it, especially since she purposefully left her window unlocked to aid reentry.
Making certain that Pix was still with her, Mizuki crept along the treeline until she reached a clearing. She veered away at that moment, taking a left towards the seclusion of the western wall. Her elusiveness was further aided by the western bridge which connected to the other areas of the castle. Its looming form provided excellent cover, preventing view from both the northern and eastern locations, the southern being blocked by forest. There was once a time when the princess feared that these oversights might bring forth the shadowman once more. Now Mizuki appreciated their unobserved presence. All the easier to sneak in and out, with proper precautions of course.
The princess made quick work of the distance to the wall. Gazing upward, she noted the sun's position in the sky. Afternoon was upon them. Dinner would not be long and her father or grandmother might be seeking her out soon. Mizuki lowered her eyes to Pix. "Hang on to me." With barely a second's hesitation, she rotated her body rapidly and called forth water from the moisture in the air. The combined effect propelled both her and Pix upward and onto the balcony outside of her bedroom. Relief flooded through her as feet made contact with stone. "Welcome to my home, Pix." Mizuki stated with a warm smile, pushing open the french doors to reveal her spacious bedroom before stepping inside and shutting the doors behind them.
Underwater Breath- Mizuki is capable of breathing within water easily. This ability allows her to remain submerged underwater for extended periods of time, without receiving any ill effects. However, she must eventually come up for air or risk drowning like anyone else. The maximum time she can remain underwater is 2 hours and she cannot utilize this power in tainted, unclean bodies of water.
Yosojutsu: Healing- Her inherent gift with water is strong enough to where she is able to use it the element to heal nearly any injury or malady. Though, depending on the severity of the problem, she can overexert herself and become fatigued to the point of immobility, sometimes even unconsciousness.
Water Cloak- Mizuki can encase her body in a cloak of water. It is undetectable to the naked eye or even to the touch, acting as a second skin of sorts. It is usually only utilized in fights where fire is being used as it provides a greater resilience against the opposing element. Fire can eventually harm her, but it takes an intense amount of heat and time to do so. While the cloak is strong against most elements, it does possess a weakness against sharp weapons and electricity. Things such as blades, arrows, and spears can pierce through the protection of the cloak to inflict harm.
Yosojutsu: Combat- Mizuki is proficient in elemental combat, being able to manipulate water, ice, and occasionally snow to do her bidding on a second's notice. Her proficiency in the elemental style of combat continues to grow with each passing year. However, as with all elements, there are some that can easily overpower her own. Electricity presents the greatest disadvantage to Mizuki in combat. Water being a natural conductor, electricity can pass through it with ease and inflict damage upon anyone or anything that water or its variants come into contact with. She has to be vigilant when fighting Electricity users so as not to sustain injury. Air, although not as difficult to counteract, possesses its own challenge. A user with advanced skills in air manipulation can block, evade, and even incorporate her own element into their attack.
Yami Umi- An enchanted sword that was given to Mizuki as a present from one of her family members. It holds the ability to purify any tainted source of water that it touches. Yami Umi, as the sword was named, can only purify through touch however, and it can only do so once in a day. If it were to be used more than that, then the sword itself could become tainted and expel the polluted water back into the world. Aside from this, the sword acts as a weapon for her use in combat.
It was a wondrous journey for little Pix as they traveled around the outskirts of the Water Kingdom. He got to see so much he had never seen before. So many little side roads and nice forests. It was a beautiful sight, and Pix took it all in while Mizi stressed about being caught. But this excitement for the views around him was short lived, as it was soon replaced by a whole new excitement.
Pix gripped Mizi's shirt tightly as they were launched into the air, letting out cries of joy and happiness as they flew through the air and landed on the balcony. And things only got better. He was showed into one of the nicest rooms he had ever seen! It was so regal and blue and...and...and...regal! The little Pixie, like in most situations, could hardly control himself, and before long hopped off of the Princess's shoulder to fly over to the bed. He landed dead center in the middle and started bouncing on it as if it was a trampoline, using short bursts from his wings to propel himself higher then the mattress would allow. "Is this ALL your room!?! Its so BIG!" Pix cried out, stopping his jumping to make a quick lap around the room before landing on a stool, using the moment from traveling so quickly around the room to make the stool spin. It was very slow spin, but it spun all the same. "This is amazing!!!"
Pushing away from the balcony doors, Mizuki nodded and walked to the center of the room. "It is as you say. These are my private chambers. Everything you see within is something of mine. Very few people," She smiled over at the excitable Pixie. "Or Pixies, for that matter, have been granted access here. Partly for security measures, but mostly because I cherish my privacy." A noted change in her speech could be heard as she spoke. Whereas outside the palace walls, she deigned to be far less formal in her words and actions. But here, within the castle, she strove to remain as formal as possible. Though the level of formality tended to vary depending on her visitors. Many would think that the person exhibited outside of the castle was a disguise utilized to avoid being discovered. Truth be told, however, it was her persona within the castle that was the true mask.
Formalities and such notwithstanding, the princess still held her kingdom close to her heart. Which was one of the reasons she chose to bring Pix here in the first place. There were matters that she needed to discuss with him. Matters that could be spoken about far more freely within her private chambers than on the streets of Aquarian. "Pix." Mizuki closed the distance between them, taking up a seated position at the edge of her bed across from where he sat on the stool. "Now that we can converse without hesitation, there is something I wish to speak with you about. A deal I wish to make with you. Would you hear me out in this matter?"

Pix was having a blast of time. Heck he hadn't even done anything yet and he was already enjoying himself! So much wealth in one place, it was wonderful! Pix had trouble controlling his excitement, but from the tone of Mizi's voice Pix could tell that he needed to be more 'proper'. And so the little Pixie stayed sitting on the stool, his legs stuck out in front of him as his head bounced back and forth, his energy sneaking out of his feet and wings that twitched and swayed every now and again.
And, to make things even better, Princess Mizi was being extremely respectful to him! Pix wasn't sure why, but most people who found out about his line of work tended to act rudely or aggressively. It didn't make any sense to the little Pixie. He was just doing his job! But Mizi seemed to understand that! This made Pix smile even more, and nod with anticipation as the Princess asked him one last time if he was ready to talk about this mystery deal. "Mhm! I can't wait! What did you want to talk about?" Pix asked, tilting his head to one side as he seemed to focus completely on Mizi for the time being.
Mizuki was not quite certain how best to go about speaking to the Pixie. Although the two had just met, she wished for them to be friends since she had so few due to her royal status. She felt mildly apprehensive about discussing his chosen trade and the implied ramifications. However, the princess knew that she could not let things linger as they were. Her deal was simple enough that she hoped the Pixie would latch onto it with ease. And the sooner she proposed it, the better off she would certainly feel.
Straightening her posture, Mizuki looked back at Pix with a small, friendly smile. "My proposition to you is a simple one, Pix." Her tone was steady and disarming, as if she were striking a bargain with a long time friend. "I realize that you have chosen a most lucrative trade. That you enact your trade within all kingdoms and upon all persons. From what I have seen, you do not do so with malice or target any one individual more than another but, rather, you view your actions as merely measures of business. However," The princess could feel her muscles stiffen involuntarily as she pressed onward. "There are those within my kingdom whom would denounce your trade and whom would seek penance and retribution. I do not wish for harm to come to you. So here is my deal to you: Do not perform your trade within the Water Kingdom. What you do in the other kingdoms is not of my concern. And, in return, I shall provide you with an allowance...of sorts. What say you?"
The princess held her breath when finished, anxiously awaiting the Pixie's response. She doubted that she would be able to provide a large allowance for him. It would likely be half of her own, to be honest. Still though, it was the only solution she could think of to prevent harm from coming to her new found friend. The soldiers of the Water Kingdom were not to be trifled with. It would only be a matter of time before they realized the thief to be a Pixie and take the appropriate measures. Her deal with Pix would be the way to circumvent that, if only he should agree to it.

Pix listened to the Princess carefully. If Mizuki was paying attention, at first it would seem like the Pixie was playing close attention to every word she spoke. But as time went on, and his facial expression didn't change, it would seem more and more like he was zoned out, not even paying attention in the slightest. His smile was hard to read in this situation, but still somehow managed to hold a sense of cuteness to it all.
When the Princess finished her offer Pix stayed still for a long moment. His mind was still processing her offer. It was a difficult one to accept after all. Sure, payment for doing nothing was a dream. But Pix loved his job. And to not be able to participate in it...well...that just didn't seem right. But it seemed that Mizuki had other reasons to not want him to steal, and if her people didn't like it, then Pix would be more willing to change.
"I don't see why not! Sounds great to me!" Pix called out as his wings began to start up once more. He took off of the stool and flew into the Princess, clinging to her arm in the form of a small hug as he hummed lightly. "Thank you Princess Mizi!"
Lir sighed heavily while walking down the hallway. His daughter had been in her room most of the day and hadn't come out, at least not according to their head butler Gavin, perhaps due to the heavy training session from earlier with her mother. Unfortunately lunch was almost ready, and Artemis would be less than agreeable if they weren't there before she was. Lir stopped at the door of his daughter's bedroom and knocked gently."Mizuki? It's time for lunch. Your mother will be there soon and you know how she gets." He warned her. "It's probably best to get to the dining room before the food gets... Cold. I'll meet you down there." Lir walked towards the dining hall, hoping he wasn't too late. Frozen food didn't have the usual connotation inside the castle, and sticking a fork and knife into an ice block wasn't easy.
The wait for the Pixie's answer was nerve-racking. Mizuki could not be certain as to how he might take the offer. Perhaps he might be offended by it and storm out of the castle? His wings taking him quickly to the town where he might once again start a spree of theft. Or perchance he might be amenable to her deal? Taking her words to heart and keeping himself out of trouble, and ultimately harm's way. Which option he valued more was certainly hard to distinguish. His expression proved hard to discern. It was only when he cheerfully declared his consent and flew over to hug her that his answer became clear.
Mizuki released the breath that she did not know she was holding. "I am relieved." She smiled down at him where he clung to her arm. "All that must be done now is to discuss the allowance. Pray tell, what do you usually make--" The rest of her sentence died on her lips at the knock on the door. The princess sat rigid upon her bed, listening to her father speak of lunch and her mother's imminent arrival. She waited for the sound of his retreating footsteps before speaking once more. Returning her attention to Pix, she said, "I must go for now. Mother does not approve of tardiness for meals. Please, enjoy the comforts of my room while I am away. I only ask that you stay within its confines until I am able to properly introduce you. Agreed?"
With little time to spare, the princess did not wait for an affirmative response. She put her faith in the Pixie to adhere to their fresh forged deal and friendship. Standing from her bed, she made quick work of the distance to the door. But, as she reached for the doorknob, she realized that she had remained in her street clothing. That would simply not do to be seen in by the others of the castle. With the speed of a wolf, Mizuki dashed over to her closet and selected the appropriate attire, opting to change within the concealment of the closet itself so as to avoid any awkwardness with the Pixie. The princess had a few years' practice with such instances and so she it took her only a moment to switch outfits. "I shall return as soon as I am able." She told Pix upon reaching the door to her chambers once again. With a parting smile, she slipped from the room, securing the door behind her before making her way to the dining hall.

Pix was confused. One second Mizi was relieved, and then the next she seemed stressed out all over again. As if the mention of food and her mother were stressful things. He looked at her curiously, not quite nodding as she told him to stay in the room to enjoy the comforts of it while she spoke to her family. And thats about all Pix got from what she said. The rest of her words began to fade away as he slowly began to think more and more about food.
By the time Mizi had left the room Pix had made the decision to meet the Princesses family and enjoy a meal with them. But as he flew towards the door and tried to open it, he found it to be... locked? Hm. Mizuki must've forgotten that he was in here! It must've been easy to forget about him after all, he was pretty tiny compared to her. And so Pix decided to find a new way around, flying out of a window and towards another entrance into the castle, searching for the room with Mizuki and her family.
Mizuki walked briskly from the swimming pool to her room. The events of the day played over in her mind as she went. How could such an uneventful day become so chaotic? She mulled that thought as she entered her room. From Pixies to harpies to her parents' discovery of her outings, the day had been far from peaceful. And it is not over yet. Her mother's promise to revisit these events came to the fore of her conscious. The princess realized that she would be unable to escape their inevitable discussion. It was something that she was not looking forward to and so would enjoy the reprieve, however slight, as fully as possible.
Vibrant blue eyes cast about the room for items that might be needed. Mizuki's thoughts were split in two, part of them focusing on the day while the other half attended to her packing. Such a state would usually cause difficulties but the princess was well practiced in multi-tasking. With a deftness born from necessity, Mizuki moved about the room, grabbing the essentials she would need and laying them on the bed. Clothing of varying degrees of formality, a hairbrush, toiletries, and a book should be sufficient for the journey to Viypa. "That should be everything." After checking over everything once more to be certain she had not missed anything, the teenager gathered the items into the awaiting luggage before exiting the room on her way to the ship.
