If there is one thing to be counted on, it's his ability to take life as it comes. Introspective
Beau, as most artists are, tends to be a bit dreamy and unfocused on the exact moment around him. Others might call it boredom but he is more or less just thinking about the now and the past and the future and wouldn't it be neat if Jessica Fletcher was a serial killer? He gets wrapped up in his own thoughts and isn't always prone to sharing them with others. Which is all sorts of annoying when his opinion is wanted.
Nostalgic
There is a wistfulness in him that makes him long for the supposed 'good old days'. This often happens the most when it comes to relationships as he entirely believes in love at first sight and that relationships should feel right or fit. The more he doesn't feel this the more he tries to make it a feeling which tends to self-destruct all his romances. Unfortunately that just makes him more prone to throwing himself into them faster than before or dwelling on the good parts of a relationship that didn't last.
Protective
For all that he comes off like a lackadaisical lion, he is fiercely protective of those he loves. And when it comes down to it, he has never been successful at quelling the rage that comes on from when they are attacked, verbally or physically. In fact, he's ended up with more than his fair share of bruises and blood but not because he fights. He's never had much success in athletics and instead his mouth gets away from him. Knowing words for poetry is good; knowing how to insult people--that all depends on if their fist lands on his face. DEITYApollo took notice of the poetry and words Beau could create. He was also interested in how much of a romantic Beau was.
