HUMAN APPEARANCE: Aviendha is best described as being a fair maiden while in her human like form. Everything about her falls under this description from her smooth, pale colored skin to her silvered hair. Like all dragons she is taller than most human females and is more physically sturdy. She has slightly broader shoulders than would be expected and very nice birthing hips as humans sometimes refer to them. Factor in a nicely developed bust line Aviendha has a very attractive hourglass figure. Her muscles are well defined but they remain sleek to complete her very feminine physical appearance. As before mentioned her hair is a silvery white color and is usually worn in twin tails that reach down the entire length of her backside stopping just a few inches above her feet. When loose her hair tends to merge together at the top but naturally splits into two tails on its own around the small of her back. Her hair color stands out against the pair of black horns that protrude from it on both sides of her head just above the ear. Like the horns her eyes also stand out from the very pale colors that dominate her body, both orbs being a deep red that reminds one of rubies. The pupils of the eyes are not quite round and if one looks close enough they will notice this coming to the realization that her pupils are actually based on reptilian slits rather than rounds. Aviendha wears a number of different outfits. The most common outfit is a white dress which covers her body from bust to mid-thigh. This dress has strap that go around her neck but mostly leaves her shoulders and her upper back bare. Beneath the dress she wears a black pair of stockings and over it a black coat of sorts. The 'coat' is simply designed to go over the dress, its size and length conform to the white dress for the most part. This coat is black with decorative red embroidery around the hems. The 'coat' has detached sleeves. She wears white boots trimmed in red on her feet. In her hair and around her neck she has black ribbons decorated with red roses. Aviendha tends to take on a very different and much younger look when she goes to interact with humans. Typically this look is that of a human child. As such her height is greatly reduced. Her chest flattens out and her hips become much more subtle. She hides her horns and her eyes become a soft blue color. She wears a simple white sundress in this form and keeps her hair in twin tails with a pair of white ribbons. Picture Link

DRAGON APPEARANCE: Like all members of the dragon clan her human like appearance is not her only form. In Aviendha's case she has the draconian form of a silver dragon. When changing the first thing to happen is a pair of wings erupt from her back. These wings are oddly enough red at first but fade to a soft almost transparent white over the course of the change. Her scales range in color from metallic silvers to pearl like whites.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Aviendha is what one would call a cool beauty. Meaning she is pretty but not overly so and the most appealing aspect of her looks actually comes from her attitude really, the way she behaves creates a charm about her that adds to her appeal. She has a very confident and proud manner of handling herself and it creates an air of command around her. It is impossible for anyone that isn't legendarily oblivious to be around her to not feel it and instinctively straighten their shoulders and draw themselves up to their full stature.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

PERSONALITY: Aviendha is calm in most matters. She tends to do things diligently and decisively. Yet she places a tremendous amount of care into what she does. While gentle she is not cautious. When she set herself to a task she approaches it in the most efficient manner, which reflects the care she puts into do it. Normally when she decides she wants to do something she will display a great deal of personal motivation and her enthusiasm will show through. When the task is done she will always have energy to continue on to the next since she is an energetic girl and her motivation will not let her sit ideally by when there is still more work to be done. Aviendha is known to over work herself and she can be worrisome. She often worries about her daughter, in particularly when Jax teases her with her nickname. She tends to get aggravated with Jax much more easily than any one else. Some might say that this just means that she is fond of him despite how annoying he is. Those other than the Earl will find that Aviendha has a reserved temperament. She doesn't go into fits of rage easily and can tolerate most annoyances for a long time but she is not reserved enough to hide her displeasure once it starts to really get to her, even if mature enough to not overly act upon it. When her anger does boil over and it is unleashed it will be explosive and directed and in most cases short lived. She isn't the type to remain angry for more than hour or so and grudges aren't her thing either. This doesn't mean it is impossible to incur some serious long lived wrath from her but you would have to do something pretty unforgivable to get it.

Aviendha was born and raised to be the matriarch and as such exhibits a great deal of personality traits related to her station. As expected she is rather wise and has a great deal of experience. She possesses a quick witted and is resourceful as well. She has an air of power and position about her that make her seem the natural leader and she is aware of it. Just like when dealing with personal tasks Aviendha take care in running her state affairs. When she steps in to personally deal with something one can expect her to take full control of the reins. She is authoritative and domineering and as such will do as she feels is right. Even in matters of war which usually defer to her husband she will often exert this side of herself to get a say on the matter. Aviendha is generous most of the time and fairly easy to award trust. For her she is willing to afford a person a great deal of trust from the very beginning, allowing them to keep it until said time they prove unworthy of it rather than making them earn it all over time.

Just like with voicing what is upsetting her Aviendha is also opinionated about most everything else on which she has some input to add. She has no issue with speaking her mind or heart, often times in a painfully blunt or untactful manner. Not surprisingly as a member and as the ruler of the dragon race Aviendha also tends to have an aloof attitude when dealing with the other races. Other races are beneath her and her kind to a degree and it is difficult to get yourself on equal standing to her. Like most all dragons she places a lot of respect in power and she highly prizes wisdom. This personal and racial pride one will find her to have no short measure of it. Finally she is very devoted to her partner. While one wouldn't call her a hopeless romantic she most definitely has a maiden's heart and has a soft spot for romance.
LIKES: Aviendha enjoys sitting in her courtyard to admire the view of the capital and countryside. She usually goes out there to watch the sunrise and to just lounge in the sun light. She loves Indred's cooking, which is a good thing since she rarely seems to have time to cook herself. When Indred does the small, romantic things. Her children.
DISLIKES: She doesn't really care for how lazy Nathanial usually is. She dislikes being called by that nickname the Earl gave her. Tied to the nickname she also dislikes getting stuck dwelling on/worrying about Millenia and her stature. Aviendha is not particularly fond of heat while in her human form but she avoids complaining about it.
STRENGTHS: When it comes to fighting her greatest strength is her dragon form which is among the most powerful if no the most powerful of her race. Her unique power gives her an advantage whenever Indred is near by. She is rather fast and flexible. Additionally she is an expert in aerial combat.
WEAKNESSES: There is a slight weakness in size in her dragon form. Small things if fast enough can be elusive, but they would have to be very fast and most importantly not predicable for them to make use of this weakness otherwise her size is strength as it still makes it harder to hurt her. She is actually not a very good cook, never having much time to practice or learn anything fancy. Her daughter.
HOBBIES: Sun bathing, watching sun rises and moon rises, flights, playing the occasion game (chess and so forth), flirting with Indred, ect.
EXPERTISE: Leadership (State management), Flight and air born combat, she knows her valuable earthen material so much so that can tell the value of a gem at a glance and she can sense ore deposits.
MY HISTORY:
Aviendha hatched in the early predawn hours of August 8th in a cave that served as the nest of her parents. She was the second in the clutch to hatch and was the eldest daughter of Vorosh Cordenth, The Hunter, and Intet Cordenth, The Dreamer. Together the pair were the reigning rulers of Durandel. Her father Vorosh was known as the hunter from his early years. Originally he was the leader of the military and was renouned as a fighter, he was a natural, even a genius when it came to such arts. More over he had a predator's instinct that let him get into other's minds. Her mother Intet was well known and widely respected. She got her title The Dreamer when she was still very, very young. Intet was an expert dream walker. She almost seemed to live more in the dream world than in the real world. Her study of this world and a gift for precognition led her to believe that dream worlds reflection of the waking one could actually hold glimpses of the future as there is no real time there. Her predictions included the reading of the Book of Ages, an event she foretold 3000 years before it happened.

After she grew out of her wyrmling stage Aviendha's mother who had declared her to be her heir took her under wing. Aviendha spent her early life being taught to have an attitude befitting a leader. She was guided to be a natural leader and then later taught how to understand her ancestors knowledge. Her wisdom was refined to a keen edge and soon her understanding of how to run a society was completed as well. Shortly after that the Book of Ages was opened and the world began to change. Aviendha was roughly 1183 at the time and the following few centuries would be hard on the young princess. The chaos the followed the opening of the book rocked all the races and Durandel fell into conflict both internally and externally. Her parents attempted to stabilize the situation. Her mother had been preparing for the opening of the book for a long time. While She was never able to tell Aviendha what exactly the book would do or what was in it she did know that there would be conflict involved.

Despite this the Elder Council was overwhelmed and scattered. Durandel entered what some would call a dark age for nearly 200 years immediately after the book opened. Conflict spilled across the boarders and hostility between all the races was intense in those early years. Aviendha's father was injured during fighting between Dragons and Mages. He passed away and further more Intet and a number of the Elder Council also died a time after Voroth. It was believed that the deaths had been caused by poison and that the Mages were behind it. However, there was no time to prove it in the chaos. Durandel lost both its rulers in a span of 5 dragon years, 45 years, and Aviendha couldn't be found. The princess had been hidden by the royal guards for fear the chaos might get as bad as it just had. Aviendha's return and eventual claim on the throne ended the short lived dark age. Luckily most of the early chaos had ended by then and restoring order was made easier for the young matriarch.

Aviendha cemented her leadership over Durandel and ruled for another two centuries before the newly reformed Elder Council was approached by representative of the Vampires. Historically the two races had been on good terms and even after the drifting the two races maintained a cordial relationship. A time and place was arranged. When the time arrived Aviendha and a number of other dragons met with the queen of the Vampires. The meeting was a diplomatic event to solidify the good will the Vampires and Dragons had before into an alliance. The discussions went in circles for weeks and Aviendha had a distinct dislike for the queen. Something struck her as treacherous about the older woman. She would of much rather spent time with the queen's daughter who seemed much more to her liking and of course shared with her a near common age. Additionally she had seen a young dragon wandering about that drew her eye. Unfortunately the discussions kept her busy and she had naught a moment to spare to other activities. The alliance was eventually finalized, this was roughly 3,6000 years ago now.

The next 700 years passed by in the same way that many of the other centuries had. A sort of peace had settled over Durandel and Aviendha was reminded a lot of how things were before the Book of Ages was opened. It was nice and the matriarch was contented. She often spent time now mingling with the humans that lived about Durandel and the surrounding lands. They were interesting to watch as they rushed about their short lives and came up with such amusing ideas. It was during one of these trips she happened across the young dragon once more. A brilliant and energetic fellow with eyes of gold. Aviendha looked into the man by returning several times to the places she had encountered him before. He was a dragon with golden scales, a rare attribute that made finding out even more about the boy she was clearly crushing upon. His name was Indred Aurelius Tyrell and Aviendha was quickly love sick for him. The more she watched him from afar the more convinced she became of his worth. It took her three years to finally get up the courage to actually reveal herself to Indred, though something told her he had already taken notice of her constantly being around.

For the rest of the following century Aviendha tried to court Indred. Early on there was no progress. Indred seemed to be uninterested in a relationship with Aviendha. She was persistent in her desire to win him over. The citizens of Durandel took notice of this after a time and rumors began to crop up. Indred's family pushed him to make a decision. While they didn't force him into an engagement an engagement eventually came to be. Indred finally accepted Aviendha after several decades of being chased. The pair were married but the union was lacking in love. While Indred held Aviendha's heart strings she seemed to not have him wrapped around her finger in the same way. She was confused as to what it was that was stopping him but she never confronted that issue. Instead she gave her husband her full devotion for the next few centuries.

Aviendha was an odd dragon in that she didn't have a gift like other dragons. All her siblings had a gift. Something that made them special, but aviendha was never able to find any unique abilities that were special only to her. By this point in her life she had accepted that she likely never would have this gift and she lived a fairly happy life despite this. Her marriage with Indred was developing all the time and Aviendha was over joyed to be finally feeling more and more return to her emotions for the "Golden King." They had been together as mates for almost 55 dragonic years, 412.5 human years, and it was at this point in time that a significant change took place in Aviendha and Indred. Indred moved on and got over his past. His love for Aviendha was his sole concern now and it was shortly after coming to this realization that Aviendha's gift awoken while the two were being... intimate. The following morning the two first realized the change. Upon waking Indred could sense that Aviendha was cold as she slept beside him still. When she awoke she could sense his thoughts and emotions. The two were bonded and it took them a very short time to figure out what had happened. Aviendha turned out to indeed have a unique skill of her own, she had just lacked the proper conditions to use it.

For the next two hundred years the pair brought the realm they lead into a new era of prosperity. Durandel was returning to a state of smooth daily affairs similar to how it was before. Additionally the two of course deepened their love. Indred and Aviendha became a pair of regular old love birds. Indred quickly found her love for romantic gestures and the small things and Aviendha almost made a game out of waiting for the next idea her would come up with to show he cared. Needless to say that eventually nature ran its course. Aveindha didn't tell Indred about her plans at all when she stopped controlling her reproductive functions. The poor old king didn't know what was coming. Eventually he got a little suspicious of why Aviendha kept leaving for long periods of times. She always said she was just out flying but it was a lot of flights. So one day he tracked his wife down on her flight and caught her working on a nest. Big surprise but he took it well enough. Aviendha laid a clutch of eggs there in that nest and for the next few years the two took turns tending to them. Halfway along though Aviendha disappeared into her nest and she left Indred in charge of Durandel. In September the first egg began to show signs of life. Aviendha called for Indred and together the two waited until three days later on the 9th the egg finally hatched. The first of the hatchlings was a boy they named Nathanial. They stuck around, Aviendha hardly ever leaving the nest, for the majority of the rest of the dragonic year. Near the end Aviendha was starting to loose hope on the last of her eggs. The one she had taken such care of, though finally on the 5th of September six human years later she could hear noises from inside. On the same day as the eldest of her sons this egg hatched as well to reveal a small little hatchling which Aviendha confirmed was a girl. The only girl in the clutch was named Millenia and made Aviendha's heir.

Aviendha returned to the capital with her children in tow just as soon as she managed to teach them how ot control their polymorph ability. Upon her return Indred finally stepped back from his brief leadership of Durandel. It was now his turn to raise the children and Aviendha let him handle it. As they matured they eventually both got heavily involved in the upbringing of the children. Aviendha though mostly dealt with her daughter and Indred his sons. There was much to teach Millenia and Aviendha like her mother before her took care of it all step by step until Millenia was prepared. After which she turned her daughter loose to learn on her own in what subjects she wished. She always keeps a sharp eye on the girl from a distance though. Aviendha is incapable of not worrying about her little girl. Millenia was after all a runt, and she was still small even upon reaching maturity. In recent years Aviendha has maintained a close relationship with Millenia and with the return of a familiar face from her own past she is a little more assured of the girls safety. Though officially her old friend, Savita, is Aveindha's guard she does seem to turn up a lot to keep Millenia safe... To make matters worse the races seem to be getting unruly once more. There is discord in the world and Aviendha worries that there may be a decline into earlier chaos or worse as tensions from the Book of Age's opening begin to grow once more.

PERSONAL POWER: Soul Mate
Aviendha did not know her personal power for a long time. The power was dormant until the first time she mated with Indred while both dragons had genuine feelings for each other. Soul Mate implanted a piece of Aviendha's magic power, or a piece of the soul, into Indred and placed a similar piece of Indred's into her. The Soul Mate Power permanently links the two dragons and grants the two a powerful bond.

• Aviendha/Indred always know where the other is at and their condition. This is a telepathic bond that allows both parties to know in an instant where their significant other is at, what their needs are, what their emotional state is, and what their condition is up to and including immediate knowledge of the others death and the circumstances of it.
  
• The embedded power each dragon has implanted within them carries a signature of the other's powers. This allows Aviendha/Indred to make limited use of the unique powers that the other possesses while the pair are within a mile of each other (involved in the same fight). Examples of this is Indred can make use of Aviendha's Advanced Elemental Breath 2 power to encase his Lightning Breath in a secondary element causing the blast to deal slight amounts of ice, fire, or even acid damage or for him to bolster his Dragonic Aura with a hint of hypnotic suggestion. Vice versa Aviendha could potentially increase her magic resistance slightly or create a focused but short ranged intimidation aura using Indred's Arcane Caster and Dragonic Aura powers.
  
• While Aviendha and Indred are within a mile of each other the bond between them creates a situation Aviendha calls Resonance. Resonance increases the power of the two dragons. Their abilities are strengthened by a measure 20%. This means that so long as the two fight together they are physically stronger and more durable, capable of more speed on the ground and in the air, the range of their elemental abilities pushes out to 120 feet and will pack a greater punch, and any power the two dragons both share, Dream Walker and Reality Warp, benefit from an increased effective range and strength.

WEAPON DESCRIPTION: The fang of dragon kind and named after the kingdom. Durandal is a long sword forged of metals from dragon territory and according to the story out of the a number of scales from the progenitor. This weapon is ceremonial in beauty and perfection in combat capability.
