Altair was in a mood. Alshain was out sick today, and so Altair was left with his usual mule to carry around his things, grab him food, and otherwise keep him company. Who else was the boy supposed to tease? Who else was Altair supposed to mock and demand things of? Altair was feeling quite bristled without his little lap dog today. He had dropped his well-kept disguise in class without Alshain present and started kicking up a fuss in class and had been sent to Ava's office for a talking to. The hybrid was waiting in a chair inside the secretary's room, dangling his little feet, tendrils flickering threateningly. Altair had been feeling so hottly that he had barely noticed the door across the way open with a small creak ...

Jaxon slithered in to the room, follow by a sobbing fallen. Slit pupils peered around the room like an animal plotting its vicious escape. The pair was being escorted by a teacher who looked rather cross, though Jaxon did all he could to ignore her. His mom would be getting a call, no doubt, for Jaxon's poor behaviour, and the boy would get an earful. Jaxon didn't really care, though. He had caught the fallen staring oddly at Bismae, and while Jaxon knew Bismae was weird, only Jaxon was allowed to stare at her funny.

The cranky looking child slithered over to the seat next to the unknown hybrid, curling up infront of the chair. Chairs were so uncomfortable. He preferred cushions anyways.

Jaxon was trying his best to drown out the sound of the crying boy's sobs as the teacher stepped up to the secretary's desk and had a quick chat with her before disappearing again, Jaxon receiving a rather cross look from the secretary. Jaxon hissed reflexively.

Castiel's arm was throbbing. The neko-naga hybrid had suddenly lunged at him and bit the poor boy's arm, two large puncture wounds now dripping blood from his arm. Luckily Jaxon's wasn't a naga hybrid with a rattle, else Castiel likely would have been in more trouble from the higher volumes of toxins the child could have produced. With hybrids, there was really no real way of knowing, but all the same Castiel's arm was incredibly tender.

The secretary had gathered up her first aid kid and was kneeling before Castiel who had reluctantly sat down on the other side of the nixie-geist hybrid, avoiding eye contact. The woman gently took Castiel's arm and spoke soothingly to him, tending to his arm as the boy sniffled.

Altair didn't know how to respond to the sudden new stimulis. There was a lot to take in. From the scowling, surly looking freshling who slithered their way in to the room, following by the bleeding, crying fallen who thwumped clumsily in to the room shortly after. Altair could feel his skin crawling as he tried to inch away from the fallen who had sat down beside him, only for his chartreuse eyes to catch sight of the true amount of blood oozing from his open wound.

Altair suddenly felt faint. His whole body began to sway, suddenly crunching his body closer towards the temperamental cat-snake curled up on the floor, casting a small glance towards the boy as they peered up, returning their gaze, pupils dilating as if suddenly spotting their pray.

Altair lost consciousness, falling forward and off his chair on to the ground with a loud thud, hitting his head hard against the ground.

The secretary gave a loud gasp. Ava was out of the office dealing with other troublesome students, and so instead of grabbing her the secretary jumped to her feet called for the head nurse and for Yuki to bring a few caretakers to assist with the worsening situation. In truth, the teacher should have taken Castiel straight to Yuki in the first place. This was certainly above the poor secretary's pay grade ... she was, after all, just a temp.

Jaxon couldn't resist his natural instincts as he shifted, coiling his tail around the unconscious boy, much to the fallen's horror. Jaxon started to wrap himself fully around Altair, feeling a sudden need and urge to squeeze, to suffocate them.

The secretary had only been distracted for a few moments, but when she turned back around she gave a distraught cry, rushing to Altair and Jaxon's side and trying to shoo the boy away from the poor child. But Jaxon's reared his fangs and hissed at the woman, threatening to bite her if she came any closer. Jaxon was going to get expelled at this rate ...

Castiel mustered all of his strength and courage as he watched this horrible scene unfold, leaping from his chair and started to kick at Jaxon to free the boy. Jaxon was a bully, a kid who just liked to pick fights and frighten people There was something wrong with him! He just wasn't right in the head! He was violent and unnecessarily aggressive! Cradling his arm, Castiel ignored the shouts from the secretary to stop. She was just one woman, and wrangling three fighting children at once was a rather difficult feat at the best of times.

Altair woke, his chest feeling tight and as if it were going to cave, like his lungs were going to burst from a sudden pressure pushing down on him. As he came to more fully, he could see the dark, yet warm colours of something sliding over his skin, squeezing him tighter and tighter ...

"W-w-waAAAAAAAH! ALSHAAAAIN!!" Altair rasped out for his twin, panic settling over him, barely able to breathe.

Just as Altair had woken up, the reinforcements burst in to the room, separating the children with force and holding them all back. Altair's entire body ached and his head felt woozy and light. This was all Alshain's fault! If he had been here, none of this would have happened, surely! What a piss poor day this was shaping out to be!

Jaxon hissed and twitched and writhed like a crocodile trying to deathroll as two caretakers held him back. One had a firm grip on his arms, while the other had clamped their arms around his tail to keep him from freeing himself. Despite his size, Jaxon was quite strong and formidable.

The caretakers were threatening to call his parents, but it didn't matter. Nyria and Roxy were going to find out anyways. Now the offense was just something WORTH calling home about.

Castiel hid behind the nurse who had come to his rescue. It wasn't like him to cower or to hide from his problems, but Jaxon was a frightening creature. Castiel glanced over the the purple-haired boy who had been seated before they arrive and frowned gently. The boy looked rather unwell. Had he been sick before this whole diabolical occurred? Or was he just pale-faced and a touch blue from nearly suffocating to death?

Why was Jaxon even at school anyways? He seemed like a child hellbent on harming his peers. Did they think they could reform him? Castiel didn't see much hope for the boy.

What was happening? Altair was so confused and disoriented from the lack of oxygen, and all he wanted to do was go home. Luckily both of his parents were teachers, so there was an excellent chance that he would get to go home early. It had been such a horrendous day thus far that all he wanted to do was crawl in to his bed and sleep.

He could hear the nurses and caretakers around him talking about contacting his parents, some scolding the boy named ... Jazzon? Jession? Jaron? Jaxon? There was no way that Altair could really be sure, nor did he care. This day from hell just needed to end.

Jaxon couldn't really do much else but hang there, dangling in the arms of the caretakers as he settled down. He would hear all about how he was supposed to be setting a good example for Mordikai and his other siblings. Jaxon was doing the complete opposite of that. Jaxon didn't care about being a role model, he didn't care about doing good. What Jaxon cared about was getting out of the arms of these cursed caretakers.

Having tricked the caretakers in to a false sense of security, Jaxon gave another quick twist of his body and thumped to the floor, the caretakers squeaking and gasping simultaneously as the boy made a break for it through the open, unattended door.

Castiel peered out between his caretaker's legs, watching the shape of Jaxon slither out the door. A few of the caretakers that had been in the room left to chase after Jaxon, Castiel finally feeling safe enough to slip out from behind his caretaker's legs. Blue eyes peered around the room and looked at all the faces of the people in the room. Their scuffle had drawn a lot of attention, and Castiel's heart sank. He wasn't in trouble before ... but he very well may be now. He had kicked another student. There was no way he was going to get out of this one ... his dad would hear about it. Both his dads, and his mom. No doubt his extended family ...

Sigh ...

It didn't take long for Altair's parents to be contacted and for them to come and collect their son. This had been a great opportunity to make friends with the fallen boy who had been attacked by the monstrous hybrid. However, Altair was not that kind of person, and with the scene that had been caused by the very existence of the two boys, Altair would rather not have to deal with either of them ever again. If he ever discovered that he shared classes with them, Altair would most assuredly request to be moved classes.

Not even given a wave goodbye to the boy who helped him out, Altair was swept away by his parents, Altair resuming his facade of innocence. Soon he would be home, safe and sound, and would get to be reunited with his slave-twin.

Jaxon had put quite some distance between him and the caretakers. He thought for sure that he had lost him. Little did he know that the caretakers had communicated with the rest of their team, and after being spotted by a different caretaker by the name of Bernice, Jaxon was stopped and captured.

While he hadn't been expelled, Jaxon had been suspended for a few weeks. It was something he was loathe to face his mother about, but Jaxon was adept at sneaking out. No doubt he would spend his time with Bismae one way or another. There was nothing in the entire world that could keep him from confined, no structure or person that could keep him caged. Jaxon would be free, one way or another.

Castiel, on the other hand, was not reprimanded. He got off fairly easily, with an easy talking to. There was some theory about Castiel having experienced a traumatic event, and had reacted based on that trauma. Castiel wasn't going to argue or correct them on that. The bite had been frightening, but not traumatic in his mind. Castiel was just glad to go home.

Aten had picked him up, thanked the caretakers and nurses for tending to him, and took him home. The caretakers left out the part about Castiel kicking the other child, not wanting to worry him. At least, not yet. Caretakers did like to talk among themselves, and Aten was nearly one of them.

For now, Castiel was safe, and headed home, and that was all that mattered to him.
