Occuring on April 4, 2012, three armored trucks are transporting superhuman criminals to the prison in Nevada. It’s roughly five o’clock in the afternoon, and all three trucks are taking different paths to arrive at their destination.

He made it an effort to be there an hour earlier so that he would be there all the same. He was always told that to be early was to be on time and to be on time was to be late and what have you. The gist was that he did not want to be late and fortunately for him, he wasn't. Inside the truck, he just remained still, in costume with the hood drawn over his face, listening as he put it. They had someone of high importance that did not need to get out, so he was hoping it remained that way. Hope was a bit of a far stretch though. He was not sure if the SIA around him had any powers or what kind of villain was coming his way. What he did do however was encase the around around him with a thin telekinetic bubble of energy. A small barrier of sorts meant to sustain a certain amount of damage as well as keep intruders out. After all, everyone on the transport was already on board.

Zeke was ready to start earning his keep. He was in charge of stopping the van from continuing to it's destination. He had planned this spot in particular. It was when it would pass by a man-made lake with more than enough water for him to work with. He was hiding behind a rock that allowed him to hide and see the van reach the spot where it would be ending its little trip. Once it was about o hit the mark, he focused as hard as he could and smashed a massive wave of water that flipped and rolled the truck off the road. Hoping to high heaven that the others hadn't flaked out on him he made his appearance. He kept some water around him, he could breathe in this water so he would be ok plus he had it moving with such pressure it could catch a bullet in it torrent, leaving him without a bullet in him. He went after the driver and guards. Unlike him, they couldn't breathe under water.

While they sat quietly in the vehicle, the feeling of impending attack swept the light user, because he could feel his sister’s energy, that same power. “I think it’s safe to say there’s a sixty percent chance we’re going to be attacked.” After all, things like this hardly ever went according to plan. “And since we—” While he was in the middle of his sentence, the truck flailed over. He was glad he was wearing his seatbelt. He wasn’t about to sit inside and die, though, so he immediately opened the door and hovered above the ground with a sinister smile, his arms radiating with power, and gaze radiating with the light of the sun. As soon as he saw the hydrokinetic, he fired a beam right beside his head with fierce speed, only to intimidate him; the water wouldn’t stop his energy beams, and it would incinerate what it touched, so using it defensively or turning into his secondary form wouldn’t have been wise. As much fun as it would’ve been to blast the guy’s head off, he had to play hero.

Morningstar wasn’t as oblivious as the other heroes, however, because he knew who would be sent their way. It would’ve been an interesting match, but the villains made a higher priority of securing the frighteningly powerful Alvin Ackerman (or rather, his alter ego) instead. This, however, would make it unlikely the villains would succeed at all, or at least that’s what he believed. He always felt himself the better compared to his sister.

Don’t worry. I didn’t forget about this vehicle, though I’ve had to put it off to keep up with everything else going on.

While he would have preferred being grouped with Nolan, this was okay too though to a significantly lesser extent. Spencer sat in his seat across from Morningstar as he took his time to thoroughly inspect his new weapon. It was something he commissioned for in secret, unknown to most of the other agents aside from those he considered friends or close allies. It was a secret mostly because it could be considered experimental by most, dangerous in the wrongs hands, yadayadayada. He didn't stress the details and trusted that this weapon would show results in a situation such as this. The sooner he blew the super villains to kingdom come, the sooner they could all go back and mark this one down as a job well done. "Please don't tell me you just jinxed us." He asked the super who felt the need to comment on their odds of opposition coming their way.

If that's what he wanted, he sure as hell got it. In an instant, the truck was thrown over onto it's side. The unmistakable sound of rushing water smashing against the hull. Yep. He jinxed us. With a sigh, he looked over his surroundings, noticing how Morningstar immediately stepped out of the truck to assess the situation at hand. The walls within the truck was now the top and he was hanging from the seatbelt, suspended by it until he clicked at the buckle causing him to fall to the bottom right next to where he dropped the weapon. He took it up into his arm, loading the first cartridge into the slot underneath as he too stepped out from the truck. "This is Agent Wilder, we've made contact. Someone's intercepted the truck." Spencer chimed into this central communicator. For this mission it spanned across all communications connected to the mission at hand.

"So. Who or what are we dealing with?" He asked of Morningstar as he looked through the holographic sights of the weapon. Morningstar took the first shot, only seeing the last bit of it fly passed the figure's head from afar.

Her appearance was concealed by the blinding light she emitted, a light only her brother could’ve seen through, costume and all. If they paid enough attention, they would’ve realized there appeared to be two suns in the sky. It was defensive, since she could see through it, but they couldn’t see in. It was a hindrance for her allies, too, but she wasn’t exactly concerned for them.

No, she knew there was a telekinetic due to come out. If she surrounded herself with radiant light, it should’ve prevented or at least reduced the chances that telekinetic could simply pull her down and force her to yield, but that was just a theory. He was the biggest threat, since her brother was too stupid and too cocky to pose a challenge if it weren’t for the fact that she had to let him win before. However, her ego wouldn’t take it this time, and she refused to take another loss.

When she identified the agent below armed with a gun (and he looked quite confident with it), she didn’t hesitate to fire a beam that almost instantly went towards his chest. It was literal light, so it surpassed any bullet in speed, and unlike before, she wasn’t playing games. If he were wearing his protective padding beneath, it would have been painful, but he wouldn’t die—not this time. Otherwise, it would’ve burnt a hole right through the average person’s chest. “Don’t get in my way. I want the pod, now step aside.”

It took a moment, but the other agent inside the truck had been briefly unconscious, having hit her head against the truck’s walls. After removing her seatbelt, she fell on her. When she pushed herself onto her knees and then stood up, she realized the doors were already open. While it almost frightened her, she found relief as soon as she realized the pod was still in place; the others were merely outside, a battle underway. “Ugh…” she sounded, rubbing her head and picking up the rifle she brought with her. Instead of outright stepping out, she leaned against the side of the truck and used it as cover while she gazed ahead.

Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 - 5:00 PM

Conversations were held, of which he mostly was not a part of, not that he was choosing to be anti-social. It was just that only small talk was mostly held. He held a chuckle here and there and it was only a few seconds to a minute when he felt the first sign of danger. A joke about being jinxed had just arrived and Captain Cosmo merely thought "of course," when everything from then on went on cue. He was telekinetic and partially telepathic. He did not need to know what Morningstar possibly guessed as well to know that it was time to pull the reigns up on this and that's exactly what he did. When the truck flipped, he was already floating and everyone on board was unharmed.

All of them had barely weighed close to a ton, so they were hardly an ounce of power to catch, orange auras surrounding their entire bodies to keep them in place. Because he was already hovering, he had never left the same position he was in while the truck practically capsized. When everything came to a halt, he let them go, some of them falling on their own volition, but it was not harsh compared to how it would have been if he did not catch them.

He was about to call out to the two, but oh no, they took off. Morningstar was out from his defensive reach and at the mercy of who knew what else. He could only dwell on what was in front of him, which was the unconscious figure behind the pod, the two drivers and of course the other guards. Fortunately, the two SIA agents were not far from his reach when the beam shot out. It was there that the entire frame of his barrier illuminated in a bright orange array of energy before dissipating. The same happened when the assault of water tried to go for the guards and. While he was not certain if these enemies knew what he was capable of, but for now, he would have to play it smart.

"We're going to resume moving" he stated through the comm links. "There's an enemy out near the lake, my guess his or her condition is water, which means we're out in the open against somebody in the sky and...something else up there...get back on. We will play defense unless there's another alternative."

The truck began to rise, landing back on the road.

"I cannot personally see outside of this truck, but I know some of you had something really dangerous. The person utilizing the water has no clue how susceptible they are by sitting there. You wouldn't even have to make a hit to send a shock through their system."

He told them that right before they got back on the truck. He nodded to the drivers to keep on moving. He made use of their large firearms, these rifles, both of them floating around his body. Still, he had to play an actual move of his own and so he did, pushing an aura outwards, flowing in nature, constantly rotating in form. The surprise, well someone would just have to find out.

"Let's get back to moving. You two try to focus on the angsty figure near the water. I'll offer support to Morningstar primarily, but will intercede if I have to. As for the drivers, you should have left yesterday. Get to moving."

The truck began to drive off once more. Just maybe, they would make it out of most of the lake's reach with what he suggested to several figures along with something he had in store.

Oh come the f*ck on! This was almost mocking them! At thos poit he was more caring of making a point that he hated being ignored than anything. The benifit this anger helped boost him where he could sww the underground water flow. He focused on the spot they would drive over, carefully building the preesurehe caused the gyser he had been forming to burst forth when the truck passed over the spot. Hopefully getting slamed by tons and tons of high pressure water could bust this blasted barrier. If it did the water would soon be finding itself inside the truck woth torrent to shove everyone around. Prehaps if he broke the pod their target could help them, and by help he meant devour. However if not then zeke would up the pressure till he succeded

“I’ll deal with them,” he replied on their link, immediately blasting his sister with a beam. “You want this pod? You’re gonna have to take me out first,” he declared. While he and his sister always had to play their stupid game—which was equally frustrating for him, since every victory was given to him—his rivalry with her was always real, and he wouldn’t rest until he beat her fair and square. It just so happened that this time didn’t call for him to defeat her, so he knew she would giving it her all. He would not lose; he refused to lose.

It was a foolish attempt to try to pursue the truck as this Water user would soon learn. When Morningstar gave the command that he would pursue the fight alone, that meant Cosmo had time to devote fully to man of the lake. Yes, judging from those hormonal emotions, he was male or at least nearing it. Unfortunately, Ferek was not the one to play the game of schlong measuring against. He had no ego, but this was a lost cause, especially when the rupture of the geyser went forth.

"I've already figured you out," a voice said right next to the young male bending the water to his will. Up above him, he would be walking down, orange energy pulsating from his body as each step he took, almost as if he were walking on air, was lit by an orange constructed step of sorts."Shall we watch?"

As the geyser flowed outward, it's intended path to be to split the truck, clearly, went astray. The water went up, but thanks to his plan already, by forming the layer he did before, using his barrier was the defense, the geyser's pressure was lost, following along the trail of free flowing energy like a dam, a river, a stream and so forth. It's path was harmlessly going to the ground.

"You can try to make more erupt, but the end result is all the same. They will leave out from another path from your lack to properly force the water itself to stay in place. You will just water. I will all matter. Quit while you're ahead."

His tone was not of arrogance, but of someone responsible trying to talk a younger figure out from doing something he would probably regret. How was Cosmo even out there? He wasn't. Before this male was nothing more than just a construct. A distraction.

"Get ready to take the shot" the real one commanded to Spencer, his eyes closer underneath the purple tinted visors as he was calmly still floating, in a relaxed Yoga position, the truck still moving without difficulty.

Her brother welcomed the challenge, as always, the dumbass. Without wasting any time, Darkstar blasted her brother and proceeded to send a flurry of energy his direction. It usually ended up like this, exchanging blasts. While beams were fast, they fired straight to maintain that speed; energy spheres were more reliable, especially when fired rapidly. He knew she was the superior fighter; she just happened to take the losses for the sake of elevating her brother, a fact she was weary of.

However, she found her phone gave a rather unsettling command from her father to take the loss. This was especially humiliating now that she was with a group. However, she could not defy her father’s commands, so she groaned in frustration and subtly slowed her movement, before getting struck in the shoulder and quickly descending towards the ground. Her brother was probably going to just watch and boast about how he bested her later.

Meanwhile, Janey remained beside Spencer and his fancy new toy. It was impressive, enough that she did not think of whether it was legal. Although, given their line of work, what worked was usually immune from complaints. “Good luck,” she said promptly. She would have assisted, but it seemed like whatever he had was far more suitable than the standard firearm she was packing.
