Li was currently going about his dance practice, moving in a rapid manner, going through the steps, the long dancers ribbon he held in his hands whirling about him. It was a dance that he'd done many times before and as such he was trying to challenge himself by doing the dance faster and faster each time he did it. If he was able to do a rapid pace but flawless dance then surely he would be able to impress even those that came to the inn to watch his mother, right? That was his hope at least...

He finished the last of the steps, bring his foot down to stomp it against the ground, posing for a moment before giving a sigh. Not too bad, but he felt as though he could do it better, faster, and more impressive! Giving a little sigh he walked over to where he left his drink, picking it up so that he could take a sip from it. He'd take a little break, replenish the water he was sweating out, and return to his dancing he thought to himself as he plopped down on the stage he was on. At least he seemed to be gaining more stamina because he was able to dance like this without feeling completely tapped out!

It was great and he couldn't wait to show these new skills off to... well, whoever he could really!

Li lifted his gaze from where he was sitting, spotting his younger friend, before he pushed himself up onto his feet as he didn't want to appear as though he was slacking off. Even if it was just Uli it was important of him to stand tall and look ever as confident as his mother was raising him to be. Giving a smile at the praise he said, "Of course! Perfection is in my blood, Uli." At least that was what his mother would have everyone believe he thought to himself, a bit of a smile touching his lips.

After giving a little twirl that caused the skirts around his legs to swish a bit, he held his hands out to Uli, "Come join me, Uli? Tell me how you've been since your last visit to the inn?" That he'd come through the door to the back was nice, it meant that Uli wanted to see him first. It was something that put him in a good mood. From there he asked something that had been weighing on his mind for some time and now that Uli was here he could ask, "How is Riya doing? My Uncle only recently returned from helping her and I've been worried."

"I'm sure that you can, so long as I am leading that is." And so long as he kept the dance slow instead of going through the rapid steps that he was doing moments ago. He wanted to dance with Uli for a bit as they spoke even if it was a dance that was on the slower side. Li pulled the younger man up onto the little practice area with him, listening as Uli explained how things were going with Riya.

Giving a nod of his head he said, "That is good to hear... though interesting as well." He'd never thought that Riya would be interested in someone outside of her friends nor did he think that she would actually get friendly with them. He might just be too used to her more aggressive side? The side that had her beating up those that got in her way into a pulp. That she had found a 'nice guy to look after her' made him wonder if Uli had met with some strange Doppelganger of his sister or something. Shaking off the thought he continued withe the dance.

"You should talk with my uncle if it's magic. I know he might have one student already, so no reason why he can't aid you as well. He's a good man after all." It would be a bit funny if he helped Uli would after helping Riya, making sure that he'd helped both of them so neither felt left out.

"I can't say I quite understand but I am sure that what magic and dancing have in common is probably what you you said, that you need to learn the basics." He said this as he lead Uli along with the simple dance that they were doing. It was nice, getting to dance with his friend, finding it to be more fun to dance with someone else. His solo practice had only been interesting because he had challenging himself with speedy dates.

"A best?" He thought on it a moment then gave a little laugh, "I actually tried my hand at it but even with the help of a new friend I made we weren't able to catch up with the odd beast. It was... some sort of weird, wingless sailscale that was on the grounds. I wish you could have seen it." The dance continued, with him thinking about the description of the perzi, something that made him chuckle a bit, "I think my mother wouldn't mind a creature like that, especially if it kept rodents and other pests at bay. You know how she is when it comes to keeping this place 'just so' after all."

Li paused in the dance as Uli's attention seemed to be drawn away from their dance and over toward his pack which seemed to be... squirming about? It was something that caused him to move Uli so that he was standing alongside of him instead of in front of him, the two of them facing the bag. A shame that Uli didn't have control over his magic yet as he wasn't sure he wanted to know what might have invaded his pack, what if it was another of those dangerous, mutated Sailscales? Even if it were though given the size of the pack wouldn't that mean it was a tiny one? Did that mean they might be able to deal with it on their own? Not that the dancer in training wanted to.

Glancing toward Uli he asked of the younger boy, "Do you think that we should get Gyuri?" It was an option if neither of them wanted to stand up against whatever had taken over the inside of Uli's pack. There were any number of things that could fit in it and a lot of them were things that he didn't want to deal with personally. As such maybe it would be best for them to have someone take the first peek at the invader?

Li was a bit on edge as the bag started to actually move a bit, as though he was waiting for something really creepy coming out of the bag... only for the mystery beast to reveal itself to be a kitten instead. A rather small, mewling wreck of a kitten he thought to himself before he walked over toward it. He leaned over, reaching out to give scratch the kitten under the chin.

"Hmm... he seems really small... how about you scoop him up, wrap him in something warm, and I will fetch some of the capramel milk we have from our stores. It should be a good stand in for the milk that he needs." He told his friend, moving away from the tiny kitten. The creature was in need of a lot of work to get it back on its feet and made sure that it actually made it through. It looked as though it should still be with its mother but since it wasn't with her they would need to stand in for the missing mother.

Li watched closely as his friend saw to feeding some of the milk to the kitten via a cloth. He gave a nod of his head as Uli said that his mother had a waterskin for such things. He gave a humming sound before he asked, "Is she around? Your mother I mean, we can go and get the waterskin if you think you need it." If the beast needed the waterskin to get enough food to make sure it was full then he supposed that they could.

"Hm?" Li looked down at the tiny kitten that Uli was showing off to him. He lifted a hand up, comparing it to the size of the kitten, before he said, "It's pretty tiny, isn't it?" He was only used to dealing with Branko so that made the little kitten seem even that smaller in Li's mind. It was tiny, delicate, and something that he felt was almost too delicate want to touch presently. Lowering his hand again he said, "Well, be sure to take good care of it since it seems Chi was willing to grant you such a beast when you wanted it so much." After all who but a Goddess could conjure such a beast for Uli?

"Well, it's not that she doesn't like big beasts she just doesn't like them inside... well, save for Branko. He's got the job of being a guard for those in the inn." Branko didn't really do a lot when it came to his guard duty, he didn't toss people out in the manner that Gyuri did, but just being around he had an intimidation factor to him. As he stepped closer to take a peek at the kitten that his friend held he said, "I will have to think about it but having a critter around that could be in charge of pest control would endear it to my mother."

As Uli menioned keeping it warm Li asked, "Why not tuck it in your shirt then? I'm sure that your warmth would transfer to the baby... though I guess you might have to worry about claws then." He didn't want to see Uli get all clawed up by a baby kitten when he was just trying to keep the little critter warm after all.

"Hm? Another dance? Well, since you are a friend of mine I see no reason why not." Were it just any customer asking for another dance out of no where he might not agree as quickly but since it was Uli, why not? Giving a little twirl he asked, "What sort of dance are you wanting to see, Uli? Something in paricular or shall I just go with my gut?"
