Mary typed the words as fast as she could, letting her large fingers fly over the keyboard. In the end, she thought she actually did pretty well--until she saw that she'd gotten three words wrong! Those wrongly typed words preyed on her mind. Ugh. She could have done better. So much better. Oh well. She sat back and waited for the next instruction from their teacher.

Elise tried her hardest to type as fast as she could, but always find typing a challenge with her Imp claws. Nevertheless, she was a bit disappointed with her results. She resolved to improve her typing skills over the next few years to something she could be proud of.

Typing, huh? Honey was on their phone and computer a lot, usually socialising or arranging meet-ups. They treated this class like they did all the others; casually. Cracking their knuckles with a grin, they set to the task. They weren't all that careful as they typed and was hardly surprised to see they got a few words wrong. Regardless, Honey couldn't help but grin when they saw they were in the top 2%. "Youngin's these days, always on their devices, nyergh," they mocked in their put-on elderly voice.

amoryWhile Amory prided herself on her dexterity, she was also well aware of her race's limitations. She'd never be as clumsy as her foster brother, but her own clawed fingers certainly had their drawbacks. The chimera preferred to write things by hand because of this perceived shortcoming, having perfected a grip on her pen that allowed her to produce handwriting that met her standards. But it seemed she wouldn't get away with that here. And why should she? It was a computer class. If she was to be forced to type, this would be the place for the Academy to do so.
She perched on the edge of her seat, tail idly curling and unfurling as she rested her fingers on the appropriate keys in front of her. When the timer went off, Amory typed methodically and with an overabundance of concentration, still managing to mess up and correct words along the way. She frowned when she saw her results, the wrinkle between her eyes deepening when she noticed Thian's score on the monitor next to hers.
"Showoff," she muttered under her breath, resting her hand briefly on his immediately after to show she didn't mean it.

thianFrankly, Thian just wanted to get this over with. Not that he had anything better to do, he just saw no benefit to learning how to type more quickly or efficiently than he already did. Would there ever be a time when typing would help him in an emergency, or was this exercise simply meant to eventually make him faster at schoolwork? He was plenty speedy enough to suit himself as it was.
The demon gave Amory a sidelong glance and a roll of his eyes just before they began, tapping out a string of perfect words after that. He wasn't as fast as some, but it would do.
He smirked at the chimera's barb when she threw it at him, turning his monitor to rub in his score a little more. "I can't help it that I'm good with my hands," he said, feeling a twinge of satisfaction when her purple cheeks darkened slightly in response.

Username: Micillia Character: Eudica Rp: Eudica glared at the computer. She was better at typing than this! Cursing her slight dyslexia she tried again. Over and over the nightmare preformed the test, intent on getting the best score she could. Score:Character: Clair Rp: Clair didn't think computers were all that necessary. They had magic, what did they need technology for? Well... computers did have the best games... so Clair sat down and gave it a halfhearted attempt, not really caring. Score:

Nerr. Ack. Grrrr. Well, even though he only got two words wrong, the mistyped letters bothered him. All the same, Dandi was pretty happy with his overall results from the typing test.

Xeno was surprised at his own abilities to type--although he did get some words wrong, he was gratified to see how fast a typist he was. He grinned and wondered if that could be useful for him in the future--were there jobs that needed speedy typists? He'd have to look into it, maybe he could find a summer job with this!

Cal was taking the computer science class at the request of her mother--she didn't expect to be any good at it. But she was apparently a decent typist. It probably came from occasionally having to type things up as her mother dictated them when things got very busy. She was annoyed with herself at the mistakes she made, but she touched the acorn necklace she wore under her shirt and reminded herself to be patient with herself, and to forgive herself her mistakes.

Anchriesel needed a break from magic classes, so he signed up for computer sciences. He figured it would be useful in college, when he might have a million essays to write all on the same night, or whatever it was that happened in college. He was satisfied with his score. True, he'd typed some words wrong, but he'd catch those on a second read-through anyway when he went back to check for grammatical errors, so it was no real biggie.

Eirian crossed off computers from her list, typing wasn't her thing. She might just have to figure out what she wanted to do with her life when she was a little older.
