Annatha and her sister Adenah were born to Dris'rynne after a brief fling with an Oban traveler passing through resulted in their conception. They have never met their birth father, but instead have lived with their mother and active father - Teslaron, a Matorian man with sticky fingers - in Oba. Though their life has not been 'easy' - being hybrids, outsiders, and having all variety of factors for exterior suspicion making things more difficult than they might otherwise need to be - but neither was it overly rough. They do not have abundant amounts of coin at their expense, but they have enough, and she has loving family, at least nearest to her.
As a young girl, Annatha's mother, father, and sisters were her closest pillars. Though Adenah is her only sister related by blood, Talori - her father Teslaron's daughter by another mother - became early on a second sister equivalent. Annatha has had some minimal public education. In her younger years, after an issue with her mother's less-lawful exploits leads to 'Korres' (her mother's fake bandit identity) 'dying', she and the rest of her family will have to flee Oba to Jauhar.
