Vallen waited impatiently as usual for his boyfriend, what was taking so long anyway, didn't Isaris know that it was time for the all important, world encompassing "them only time" no siblings, no family, no interuptions just each other.

It was time to step up, time to get serious. Vallen grinned somewhat evily. Then he sighed, because he wasn't there yet!

"Isaris! Get a move on! I'm becoming impatient!" There, yelling helped. Hopefully that would speed the older shifter up somewhat, or at least he could hope it would. His foot began to tap the ground.

Vallen quite nearly started to purr as Isaris's presence soothed the tightness around his heart. That was all it took just the presence of his man could transform his whole attitude, mercurial as it was. "Mmm there you are what took you so long?" He whined. "I thoight we would go and do nothing today maybe find one of the lakes to chill at maybe wrestle a little hmmm?" He wrapped hus broad palms around the males hands, content.

Vallen looked at him, reading his expression, "What did you forget now? Your swimming trunks?" He snorted. He liked swimming and especially untangling his mate's hair afterwards, there was a lot of it, it took forever and he loved every second of it.

Was there something to forget at a time like this? They didn't have to pry siblings of each other anymore, the families were all going about their own buisness now growing up and all of that.

Vallen loved when his mate took charge, it was delightful. He trailed along happily after him, waiting for the invisible switch to flick and then he would be manly, he loved who they were together, there was no one else out there for him.

"Well you see my Pa is a Rider, and his parents and his parents' parents were riders, he got me my Unduru and I want to be like him, none of the others went for a rider so I want to keep it in the family." Pity that he wouldn't have a blood son to carry it on, but he knew his family would consider any children of his as true family so it counted. Family was not all about blood, it was also the blood you chose.

"Well, now its our turn to do things the way we want them, that is if you would ever consider ..having..children..with me?" Vallen hadn't meant to ask that, but well, there was no one else for him. "I don't think I could trust anyone else with the future, I want you to be a part of me, I want to see you hold a child and see laughter in your eyes and know that you are happy with what you have, I want to be responsible for that happy."

He tucked his head into Isaris's shoulder, "I love you."

"I believe you will make a great Father, after all you know what not to do, and your Mother was the sweetest lady going." He held Isaris's head to his shoulder, "We can do this my love, we just have to look. I feel like we should adopt since it's rather hard for us to reproduce on our own is it not?"

"Besides that way we can take in a child or children who have no home of their own, and if they have no parents then we are a pretty good standard then aye?"

Vallen followed after him, hmm a sound proof cave sounded like a lot of fun to him. "Isaris, I was thinking, you know we don't have to have say, shifter younglings, we could look at maybe wind or water or something? I feel like water folk especially with their tumultuous past would have children much in need of parents, I don't know if this is just me being all soft but I want to help out where we are most needed?"

"Not that any child without a parent is any less in need." He held his head, he was used to acting! Not thinking! Ow.

Vallen was still watching him from the shore when Isaris popped up for air. "Just enjoying the view." He chirped before stripping himself and following his mate in. Isaris just knew him, he put up with the drama and the obstenancy and everything else that came with Vallen. Now he even put up with his worried ranting, Vallen sighed contentedly which turned into a gasp when he hit the water.

"You didn't say it was this cold!" His teeth fake chattered. "Ack!"
