How They Became Friends:
How Dalwin met his pink and fluffy-dressed friend was an interesting tale. He kept being told he shouldn't try to fly, worried that he would hurt himself. He thought it was because they were jealous of his wings since they were the biggest and prettiest. Being the defiant sort, he flew anyway, but being young he didn't have the best stamina and found himself heading for the ground all too quickly. He squeezed his eyes shut so he wouldn't see the ground coming at him and it wasn't until he impacted with something softer and slightly more giving than the ground, sending himself spinning and skidding on his back that he realized his inattention had run him into someone.
"Ow!" Cried his unfortunate victim and Casnar opened his eyes, slowly and carefully rolling over to get to his feet among bent and pulled feathers. He checked himself over to be sure he hadn't broken anything but his pride before he turned his attention to the bright pink individual curled up on the ground in pain.
"I'm sorry." He stated and headed over to them. "I had my eyes shut, I didn't see you. Why didn't you move out of the way?"
"Because I wasn't looking that way!" The pink child exclaimed. "You really should be more careful!" They huffed in indignation and then looked Dalwin over critically. Considering they were dirty and scuffed up themselves, he wasn't sure what all the scrutiny was about, but he stood there and waited it out.
Finally the pink child gave a put upon sigh and reached out to try straightening out one of his feathers. "I think you should do me a favor for running into me like a dummy." They said. "You have to be my friend for a month!"
"Okay." Dalwin agreed, deciding that didn't seem too bad even if the pink stranger was kind of bossy. "I'm Dalwin."
"Hi Dalwin. You can call me Pink. If I decide I like you, I'll tell you my real name." They took his hand with one of their mitts. "I'm Pink because I like pink." They explained, even though it seemed pretty obvious.
Dalwin nodded anyway and let himself be led around by Pink. Though they were really quite bossy, he didn't mind too much. They thought his wings were very nice, even if a bit bent up, but didn't seem jealous. He found out Pink's real name within a couple of days, but by then he liked their nickname better. It suited them, and so Pink was stuck with him. Dalwin's very first and very best friend. He was so fortunate to have met them, even if it had to start with a near concussion.

How They Became Friends: Charlene, or Charlie as anyone was allowed to call her was always a rambunctious little thing. She has far more energy in her than her tiny little body should allow. This lead to a sort of awkward forwardness when it came to her interactions with others. It is in one of these situations that she met her "bff". It was in the cafeteria and she was getting ready to eat her typical lunch, a pbnj with the crust cut off of course, three carrot sticks, a chocolate milk and a butterscotch pudding. However she was running a little late to lunch one day and ended up reaching for the last pudding. This was the same time that a fallen freshling reached for it. Their gazes locked each one determined to not back down. Charlie in her usual fashion was quick to make a sharp hissing noise "You better not do what I think you're about to do" she snapped to this the fallen gave a small smirk and snatched the last pudding quickly disappearing into the busy lunch room.
Needless to say Charlie was pretty devastated that she would have to attempt to eat lunch without her pudding, That was when over her shoulder a spoon was handed to her and who should it be next to her but the little fallen that had taken her pudding. "We can split it" they said slipping into the seat next to hers. "I don't like to see you sad." Charlie quickly took the spoon as a smile lit up her face. She knew this would be the beginning of a beautiful thing, after all if someone was willing to share the last pudding what wouldn't they do?

How They Became Friends:
To a pure elf, the weather in Euros—or everything about Below for that matter—was considered dreadful compared to Above, but for Persephone, she didn't think it was too bad despite all the horrid things she was told from her elders before her family sent her down here. That is to say, once heavy storms happened then her thoughts turned a total one-eighty.
Now those didn't happen very often, but lo and behold on this particular day, there was an unexpected heavy shower, and as lightning lit up the dark sky, the young elf was cowering underneath the canopy of a tree. With her back rested against its trunk, she buried her head in her arms and knees, muffling the whimpers that came out from her trembling lips just as the sound of thunder assaulted her ears.
Persephone tried to cope with her current situation by chanting to herself to think of happy thoughts. Family? No, she was considered the black sheep in their eyes, which was why she was in Asphodel Gardens Academy in the first place. School? Oh who was she kidding, that was a headache in itself on top of the other students not liking her 'cause of her race. Wasn't there anything that made her happy? Wait, there is something... or someone. Peregrine.
Closing her eyes, a certain Baphomet/Fallen hybrid entered her mind, a small smile forming at the thought until another thunder boomed and she frowned again. Ironically, on a stormy day like this long ago, she had met her now best friend at that time underneath this very same tree. Granted, he was quite rude and extremely unfriendly from their first meeting, which was absurd considering the two species he was—an anomaly she would call him much to his protests—but eventually, she somehow got past his well-guarded defenses and made a spot—forcibly wormed her way as he likes to call it—in his closed off heart. If the shy, lonely elf had not made that bold choice of seeking companionship with the anti-social male and been persistent back then, they would not have been inseparable as they are now.
While being too busy keeping to herself and also praying to The Nine for this to end soon, she did not notice nor hear another approach her crouched form until their figure was standing right above hers. Hearing a loud, exaggerated sigh directly above her, she whipped her head up. Through unshed tears, wide, silver eyes stared right back into a pair of golden eyes filled with amusement.
"P-Perry!" she managed to squeak out as another lightning came and illuminated the male hybrid's features. Leaping up from her spot, she embraced him with much force, almost knocking them both down. Within a matter of seconds, all the tension and anxiety she felt faded away and was replaced by warmth and a sense of security.
"Woah! Geez Percy, of all places you could have been, you just had to be here. Again. Just what were you thinking, dummy? I'm starting to think you enjoy torturing yourself." he chided, but wrapped his protective arms around her nonetheless.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry.... I just c-came here out of habit as s-soon as it s-started..." she replied in a meek voice, feeling ashamed. With a huff and a roll of his eyes, her friend pulled back from their hug and flicked her forehead hard, to which she shrieked in surprise. Before she could ask what was that for, he tugged on her hand and started walking towards the Arkham Dorms.
"Come on," he bluntly spoke. He looked back at her, a faint but genuine smile gracing his usual stoic face. "Let's go back to our room... idiot." Blinking, she let out an indignat huff but a tiny laugh bubbled up her throat and she couldn't help but smile, squeezing the hand that held hers.
"Mmm... yes."

How They Became Friends:
Kazah being typical refused to listen in regards to anything about his wings. He knew his wings were the most magnificent in all the land, and he refused to hear otherwise. To him, they were his most prized possession and was constantly fussing over them, making sure they were as he would say "Gleaming Gloriously". Even he had no clue why he felt this way, he just did. It tended to get him picked on by the others in his class but he did not care, he thought they were jealous since most did not have wings and those who did their wings could not compare to his glorious feathers!
One day while outside enjoying the weather, just enough wind to feel it ripple through his wings and maybe let him hover a bit over the ground he saw a flash of pink, not a quick flash either. He soon realized that it was another freshling, one who was shy but quick on their feet. Looking closer he realized it was a Elf who to be quite honest was cute, their face all glowy and hair was shiny like his wings. Fascinated all he could do was stare until a soft voice said " Hello what are you doing?" and he shook his head and said "Wind, love wind feels good on my wings, what are you doing?" the last few words came out a little to sharp and he felt bad. Slowly smiling he said softer, "I mean why are you running out here? You seem a bit unsure of yourself, everything alright?" Why he seemed interested was beyond him, usually all he cared about was his wings and how much the gleamed.
"Oh I am just out here to get away from some of the others in my class, they are well...uhh...somewhat different then what I am used to" "I am an only child and my parents sheltered me a tad much, I am afraid of my own shadow sometimes" and suddenly they giggled. "I'm Alasha, nice to meet you, Can I watch you try to fly again?" with that their face turned a lighter shade of pink then their hair. He could not help himself, he laughed. Pure laughter roared out of him, usually he would feel like he had to justify himself to anyone who would ask him about flying but this Elf seemed to be genuine with their interest and he felt like he could actually just be himself and have a fun with someone his own age. "Sure you can watch if you like, I usually just hover a bit to get used to how the wind flows through my wings. Truthfully I am to young to fully fly but I don't let that stop me from trying!" he said with a hard chuckle before a gust of nice cool air wrapped around him, their invisible tendrils pulling at his wings and lifting him up from the ground and held him suspended for what seemed a eternity then slowly dissapated to allow him to touch his feet back down on solid ground.
Alasha was sitting on the ground watching intently and said "Interesting, you did very well fly hovering or whatever you call it. I find it fascinating you can fly." and with that without either realizing it they were best of friends from that moment on inseperable, wherever one was the other was.
