Personality: Jarel is a bird of a different feather. He is cool and aloof to most. In his mind he is the bird high up watching everything going on below him. What fascinates him is weather patterns and flight. He yearns to fly, but knowns his can’t so settles for watching the weather and other flying creatures. Land bound creatures get a touch of scorn from him, even himself, from being imperfect.
He respects his family in such that they are blood-bound, but he feels no deep connection to them. Deeper connections and emotions are an abstract to him. Jarel will help a family member in trouble if asked. When angered, he tries to carry the force of a raging hawk in his motions. Perhaps it’s all just in his head.

Prompt Response:
He’d just grown from his wisp stage. His eyes opened for the first time. Jarel squinted up into the light. Once his new eyes grew accustomed to the light and seeing he began to notice things. A wide open space above him seemed to go on forever. It was a color. Among it was another color. This other color moved if he watched it closely enough. Why didn’t the larger color blend with the smaller? He wondered. Or why didn’t the smaller color bleed into the bigger? What kept them separate?
His tail flicked and he knew he was laying on his back. Jarel twisted and slowly rolled over. New things came into view. They reached and stretched in the direction he’d just been looking. Amid the thin skeletal fingers reaching up was several creatures. He was utterly entranced by them and their movements. Graceful appendages spread from their bodies and they went into the big color.
Oh how he longed to join them! Jarel didn’t have the words yet, but he wanted them. He wanted to learn all about them and the places they went.
Plot Ideas:
- Jarel finds someone who shares his interest in weather or flight.
- Someone to bring him down from his pedestal.
- A “Dove” that he can swoop down and capture or one that swoops down and gets him. (Love interest?)
- Something or someone attacks his nest, and he must defend it.

Personality:
Dramiir is a proud and powerful creature.
In his youth, prone to being adventurous, brash, and brazen, this young Elykosi will start off his life with a strong curiosity and an innate need to protect his family. In his eyes, his siblings will have little to worry about from the outside world. However, his urge to protect may cause some friction, for he may balk if his family begins to naturally drift apart as his siblings grow and discover their own independence. His parent's approval will be deeply important to him, though his stubbornness may lead to issues if there is a lesson he must learn in order to earn it.
As he grows, however, his pride will temper and become less dependent on the approval of others. His own strength will bring him confidence. Eventually, that need to protect and gather others will lead him to create a clan. Of course his family members will be the first that he will wish to be by his side, but as an adult he will understand that not everyone is made to live in a cohesive group and will support the others in whatever they decide.

Prompt Response:
Do not wander from the den... the words echoed in the back of Dramiir's thoughts as he slunk out of the cave and into the forest. He wouldn't be going far after all... just to the first tree. Or perhaps to the second tree... well really, the third tree isn't that much further!
It was a beautiful day; the sun shone through leaves, creating a soft, dappled light across the forest floor. Bugs scattered before the pup's gamboling paws, and bird sang out overhead. With a playful laugh, Dramiir pawed at a bee that buzzed by his head, only to be shortly distracted by a beetle scuttling through the undergrowth. Such was his absentmindedness that the little Elykosi never noticed the leaf-covered crevasse before him. That is, until he fell.
With a final bound forward, Dramiir yelped in alarm as what he thought would be solid ground gave way beneath him.
The fall wasn't far and the landing soft enough-- upon seasons and seasons of desiccated plant material. Nevertheless, at first, the shock of it all brought unbidden tears to his eyes. He gave one pitiful howl, the sound of which sent a cascade of dirt tumbling down upon his ears. With a quick shake of his head, Dramiir glared angrily up at the top of the hole and grumbled. He had to get back up there... but how?
Coiling his young muscles, the pup jumped as hard as he could and came barely half-way up the side of his prison. His frustration soon became anger and he grumbled to himself, "I have to get out of here... I'm the biggest and the strongest... I can take care of myself..." Giving himself a resolute nod for encouragement, Dramiir prepared to jump once again. With a grunt, he leaped into the air and, this time, latched his claws into the dirt walls. Hanging there for a moment, his legs immediately began to ache from the effort, but he would not concede to defeat. Letting loose another growl, he began pressing up with his back legs and reaching forward. He would get out... just one paw... at a time.
Soon his claws were chipped and bleeding and his legs trembling, but his nose was just barely a mouse-tail's length from the edge of the hole. With a final thrust of his hind legs, the stubborn pup launched himself the rest of the way and collapsed onto the forest floor. Heaving a sigh of relief, he lay there for a few minutes to catch his breath before coming shakily to his paws.
He'd made it. He was strong enough.
Now to return home and try to explain why his paws were bleeding to mama and mom...
Plot Ideas:
Baby/Juvenile:
An Adventure Gone Wrong: Dramiir convinces one or more of his siblings to go exploring with him... but something goes wrong and he has to save them.
Asking for Help: Dramiir encounters a situation where he is the one that needs help... can he get over his pride?
His First Fight: Whether he wins or loses, Dramiir needs to experience his first fight as a youth.
Growing Apart: Dramiir has to come to terms with the fact that his siblings may not always want him around, nor always need him to protect them...
Adult:
Sparring: Dramiir likes to test his strength. This will be various battles, both friendly and not depending on the participants.
The Beginnings: Dramiir dreams of living in a group and doesn't want to let go of the family dynamic... he begins to gather family and friends to see if a clan can be made
The Den-Site: He and his future fellow clan-mates search for a place to call home
Of Like Minds: Dramiir finds a mate that will help him grow his clan and who shares his ideals of family and strength in numbers

Personality: Yil'frun when small was always scared to do something out of his comfort zone. and at first he let the fear control him. but seeing his siblings have fun doing things he'd be too scared to, and feeling jealousy and envy towards them he eventually gained enough courage to climb a tree and see what things would look like from that height. from then on he tries his hardest not to let fear get to him and to get stronger so he can continue to push the bounds of his comfort zone. Eventually coming to a point in his adult hood where hes more concerned with getting strong then enjoying the wonders of the world or finding those he'd want to protect

Prompt Response: Yil'Frum had been staring at the same tree for hours. He'd always wanted to climb it, it's one of the tallest in the area and he wanted to see what amazing things he could see from that height. Plus maybe if he gets up there he could try jumping to the next tree over and see what that feels like. So you might wonder why he's spending so long just staring at the tree instead if climbing it? Fear. even thinking of putting a paw on the bark makes his stomach drop and his heart race. But he'd been wanting to do it for ages, and his siblings always seem to have fun doing not the safest things...
He took a deep breath closes his eye and breaths out. It didn't really help. Ugh why does it have to be so hard? it's just a tree. A very tall tree. He could try starting on a smaller tree, but he felt like that'd defeat the purpose, or maybe miss the point? So there he was still staring at the tree.
Finally after gaining a bot of courage he threw himself at the tree and dug his claws into the bark. he was about 6 inches off the ground and just barely stuck to the tree. But some how he felt accomplished. and after clawing his way a little higher he managed t get a full foot up before falling. It was the farthest he'd ever gotten and he felt so proud of himself! He had to tell his parents Maybe they'ed praise him? He got up shook hi self off and went running
Plot Ideas: I'm gonna have him start out has a coward then grow him to be obsessed with strength getting into fights more for the show of strength then for fun. But I want him to come to a point and hit a a road block of some sort that lets him realize strength isn't everything. And maybe remember childhood dreams? or realizing he has no friends and dealing with that, and just growing into someone who realizes that there is more to life then fighting and strength doesn't always mean being able to beat someone up.

Soft Spoken – Old Soul – Meditative – Inclusive – Warm
From the very moment of Eikthymir’s emergence it was evident that his mind worked differently than those of most others. It wasn’t that he was dimwitted or even overly peculiar, he was simply different.
Rather than being rambunctious as kits naturally are he was relatively muted and remained more on the observant side. He would watch his siblings spar and partake in rowdy games as though he were studying the nature of their day to day lives. He was not aloof by any means and often took quite a lot of pleasure in spending time with his family, but he was much more interested in listening than speaking and in watching rather than participating. He could often be found off on his own somewhere wearing a small smile that reached his eyes; the look of which lead one to believe he was absorbing the secrets of the universe from the silence.
As he matured he became a very pleasing individual with a mind in possession of wisdom beyond his years; wisdom he was more than happy to share with those interested enough to listen. His voice was not the booming of a fierce warrior nor the whisper of a mousy submissive, but rather the soft tone of a scholar forcing those around him to earnestly listen when he spoke.
He is not the violent sort and would much rather surround himself in a vast array of companions than engage in battle. Even so when push comes to shove he is still capable of doing what he must, though his first move will continue to be to exchange words as opposed to blows.

The fingers of the wind played gently with his fur as he stared calmly into the questioning eyes of the Elykosi standing before him. “Did we bore you?” Her head tilted ever so slightly as the last word was uttered, a movement he found to be relatively cute at present.
“Not at all.” He responded, a genuine smile lighting up his features which was soon followed by an amused chuckle at the dissatisfied expression upon her face.
“You told me you wanted to get to know as many other Elykosi as you possibly could dummy, yet you stood there the entire time and said nothing! I was the one doing all the talking!” She stomped her slender foot. “You just stood there,” she repeated, “staring at us and nodding here or there without actually contributing anything to the conversation. I’m surprised you didn’t just walk away or fall asleep seeing as we weren’t interesting enough apparently.” Her tone began to grow even sharper. “I can’t belie-“
It was here that he chose to cut in. “Do you know what happens when a mouth remains closed?” He could tell she was coiling for the attack by the growing rigidness in her shoulders. “The ears and eyes are forced to open. I apologize for coming off as rude in any way,” he stated sincerely, “but I learned so much from just listening to the two of you interact. I was entranced!”
Her jaw went slack and she stared at him for a moment before sighing. “What exactly did you learn from being a stick in the mud?”
“Oh come on now.” He laughed before pausing to think of his response to her question. “I learned that you really want to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible when conversing with strangers by the way you chose generic topics. I learned that he felt a bit uncomfortable with my presence by the way he continually gazed at me from the corner of his eye. I think he had hoped he would be able to speak to you alone as he found you attractive judging by how he puffed out his chest to appear more masculine. I also learned that you picked up on his attraction and shied away from it for some reas-“
“Dear Ygdrasil!” She cried out. “That is enough already! The next time we meet someone I expect you to speak, end of story.” She stated before turning and storming off into the trees.
“I learned that you shied away because you are afraid to open up.” He murmured to no one in particular before following her lead.
Plot Ideas:
Any and all family rp is a given!
Let Life by thy Teacher: It is quite evident that Eikthymir strives to be as much a part of the world as he can be, and he believes that to know others will deepen his bond with the life he treasures. I would like for him to interact with characters of all types. Good, bad, joyful or sorrowful. It does not matter as long as he can establish a connection with them.
The Worth of Spilt Blood: Eikthymir is rather opposed to violence but he also understands it is a part of life. In this plot he will meet with another Elykosi who craves nothing short of an all out brawl. He will be unable to diffuse the situation with his lighthearted wit and will be forced to fight. In this, regardless of outcome, he will be able to determine whether violence can contribute as much of a connection to the world around him as non-violence can.
Tempest: Eikthymir will meet an Elykosi who is in great emotional turmoil. I would like for him to become a part of his/her life and help them out as much as he can. Even if it is just talks from time to time, or telling stories. Anything he can do to help another and share the wisdom he has gathered.
Pilgrimage: Eikthymir is an obviously spiritual individual and as such I think it would be interesting for him to develop a pilgrimage of some kind. Perhaps something to do with the world tree.
Anything else?: He may appear to be somewhat half baked at the moment but as he becomes immersed in the world and infused with all sorts of extras depending on his interactions, he will become more fleshed out.

The young buck grinned as he scrambled out from the thick tunnel of prickly vegitation. Standing with an audible sigh of releif at being free of the ratehr painful bushes he turned all about, examining his new surruondings. He had been wanting to explore here for days but Damia had repeatedly told him not to stray too far after his last 'adventure' (or more accuratly, mini-disaster). But the lure of the unnown was just too much and he had slipped away with the intent to explore this forbidden land. (It didn't matter to him that he was within shouting distance of his family. They were out of sight and to the youth that meant it was a whole new world, his private escape.) Grinning he turned ruond and almost fell over backwards in shock but quickly recovered, putting on a bright knowing grin even as he wondered how someone could have snuck up behind him. Trotting over he addressed the stranger, swiftly learning their name and that they where the same age as him. Within minutes the two young Elykos were bounding about, immersed in their own imaginary world as they explored.
Plot Ideas: Being completely new to the shop I dont have a solid grasp on the world yet, but he will want to meet others, find a special someone of his own and go on as many adventures of discovery as he can. Id like for him to find a male partner, someone more down to earth who can ground him and give him someone to protect and treasure.

Congratulations! Dramiir is yours! <3 Thank you for your wonderful entry. I kept coming back to it again and again. I can't wait to see what you do with him in the future.  And because we had enough entries I would like to gift to you Talora (whom you can rename to whichever your heart desires. I personally like the name you picked for your entry if you want to name her that.) She is female so you can keep the personality and everything the same as your entry if you wish but change to male pronouns or perhaps she identifies as male. Who knows.
