Weeks after her incident Riya was up and about again. She didn't like laying in a bed all the time. So she'd convinced her parents to let her go out, enjoy the snow and fresh air. Of course she had to take Uli and Valek with her. Not that she complained. It wasn't like she wanted to be alone she just wanted to get out.

As she walked she held one arm across her chest to cradle her ribs. Thankfully they were healing well. Most of the other traces, her split lip and he finger bruises, were gone. The only other thing that remained was the fading black eye and traces of blood in the sclera. Turning her head to look at her twin she wondered if he thought she was weak now. She'd lost a fight and had been sent over a ledge. A bird had been sent to their mother and likely caused panic with everyone. Riya still hadn't spoken about what had happened other than she'd lost. That was all anyone knew. When asked about it she would curl up and close in on herself.

Staring at the bottle in his hand, Ergon sighed shortly. Another medicine to force on his mother. She hated taking her medicine, and he hated giving it to her. None of it ever seemed to help her...

With another sigh, he pulled his pack around to tuck the bottle into it safely. As hopeless as it seemed, he would keep on trying. When he looked up from his pack, his eyes widened with surprise. The girl up ahead. Was that..? While the pair walking toward him did have an odd air about them, he couldn't help the memories that popped into his head. Cheeks purple with heat, he spun and gave far too much focus to the nearby tree, praying he wouldn't be recognized.

Hulis chuckled at his sister. He was really enjoying their time in Zena, wearing the sleeves his Mother gave him as she had...well. Changed her usual color scheme. Hulis didn't question it. He liked the feel of the sleeves as they made him feel more like a magic user. Thinking over that he felt more like a child than anything. Shaking his head he looked around the snow capped village hearing Valek Hulis tilted his head. "Who?"

He looked ahead as he saw his sister turn purple. Ears perked up a little as he looked ahead to a youths back. Did...did his sister have a crush?!? YES!!!

Her brother asked about the boy after Valek had said something and Riya shook her head. "N-no one." Then Ergon glared at them all. That made her pause where she was and blush even more before she turned her head to the side to look away. Riya hadn't thought that she had angered him that much when they last met but she could see how she might have. Giving a peeking look toward Ergon she managed to twist the wrong way and hurt her ribs so she hissed and winced which gave her an idea. "I-I've had enough air, we should get back." Iriyana nodded her head and looked at Hulis with a hopeful look.

Valek noticed the glare from the boy and laughed before he answered Uli. "That's the boy Riya was kissing a few weeks ago." Giving a grin at Ergon he couldn't help but teasing a bit more. "And here I thought you might have come to cuddle with her since her accident." When he noticed Riya hissing in pain he switched gears and moved forward to put a hand on her shoulder while the other went to her side. "Easy. Mom said not to push yourself, remember."

With Valek so close she swatted at him, embarrassed by his teasing. It was pointed at Ergon but it was making her more purple in the face than blue! Besides, now Uli would ask her a bunch of questions! Wincing again she stepped away from the older of her two brothers.

The sharp hiss of pain couldn't help but to draw his gaze. Was.. she hurt? Heat traveled from Ergon's cheeks on up to his ears, jaw tense. "If you call that kissing," he groused, though his posture was shifting. The boys did seem concerned for Riya. "Accident?" Frowning, looking between the boys, he nibbled at the bait. "Are.. you alright, miss?" He still blanched at the offer to join them, eyes shifting away. "I.. don't think I should," he murmured.

Hulis smiled at the newcomer. "Hi. I'm Hulis. Iryianna's twin." he stepped out to offer his hand in greeting. "Sorry if my sister was rough in your first meeting." he glanced at her. "That's just her way of saying Hi." he teased with a giggle.

"I was kicked, not pushed." She corrected. Iriyana didn't recall much about what happened yet but she did remember the boot.

Just how she-!? Riya looked at her twin with wide eyes then hissed. "U-Uli! I do not k-kiss everyone I meet!!" She felt utterly mortified! The fact that Ergon now thought that was how she was made her turn even more colorful. With a whimper she looked away wanting to disappear. Ergon was the only person she'd kissed upon first meeting them and he was definitely the only one to cause her to react the way she had. So when he bowed to her and seem to show an indifference to her she pouted slightly. Still she nodded her head at him and murmured a thank you. Afterwards she pressed her lips together and adjusted her hold on her side.


Valek laughed as Hulis said that was just the way his sister greeted people, a laugh that got a little louder when Riya objected. Though he smiled at Ergon when he said he could join them. "Hey that's great. Will you two keep an eye on Riya for a while?" Normally he wouldn't leave his younger siblings but with two people there the girl shouldn't be in any danger. "I'm gonna run back and get some pain relief herbs for her since she's hurting a bit."

Ergon pressed his lips slightly. "That's not any better," he murmured. Kicked off of a cliff... What had happened to warrant such a drastic move? Riya's backpedaling and outburst made him look up quickly, looking between the siblings. So.. Riya did not kiss everyone? He couldn't help smirking a little at the other boy's horror at such a mistaken statement. Clearly, Hulis hadn't meant it the way it had sounded. ...Good thing Riya wasn't in attacking shape!

Then Hulis' brotherly shock set in, and Ergon shifted uncomfortably, cheeks warming again. Then he looked over at Valek with wide eyes. He opened his mouth to object to the older boy leaving, but caught himself. Valek was leaving to get pain relief for Riya... and Hulis would be staying. Still standing a little stiff, he gave Valek a nod of understanding. ...And then he moved to keep Hulis between Riya and himself. He could still remember that evening, and the near loss of control had scared the blazes out of him. She seemed to barely be able to look at him... His mind was too stuck on remembering why he was so bashful around the girl that he could only think to stare out along the road silently. "Where.. is lunch.. going to be?" he asked finally, eyes keeping firmly away.
