School had started and as a result Rory hadn't had much time to think about anything outside of preparing for it. Her volunteer hours had been sporadic, haphazard and much fewer and far between than she would have liked, but pops always insisted that school came first and he hardly asked for anything. So school had come first, which meant that her duties within the negaverse had been neglected.
Whoops.
Rory had managed to miss all three of the meetings that had been conducted, though she didn't think that the special operations one would have been relevant to her interests or her skills so that one didn't bother her. The others however...
Luckily there'd been someone from Aurostibite's recruits that had been present so, once she found a night she could go out, she'd reached out to the girl who'd been rather nice to her, Reinerite.
[Message to Reinerite: Do you think you can come patrol with me tonight? I'd really like a buddy.]]litian a start appears~ if this doesn't work, let me know and I'll adjust!

Whilst classes hadn't quite started back up for Ashley, she already picked up her book list for the upcoming new academic term.
It had struck her as she had waited in line with the other Sovereign Heights students picking up books from their book list that the summer was practically over and her time of being able to focus purely on her Negaverse duties was quickly coming to an end.
It was a thought that had been topmost in her mind when the message had come in from Hydra and whilst their paths hadn't crossed since the mission to the cave, she remembered the turquoise-haired girl as being another of her general's recruits.
It hadn't taken her long to send a message back in the positive and ask for a meeting place and time...
Which brought Reinerite to now as she headed to the agreed on place.
She was slightly early, but that was nothing new for her - after all better early than late.Nuxaz this totally works, apologies for the delay and I should hopefully get the start for the other rp up soon

It was incredibly relieving to have Reinerite agree to a patrol.
Rory didn't know anyone outside of Aurostibite and Obsidian, at least on anything outside of a superficial level - there was that handsome dream guardian though... - and it would be nice to have someone she might be able to call a friend.
It took some skill to sneak out of the small apartment without her father noticing but she was getting better and the window screen became easier and easier for her to remove without too much trouble. A block or two away from her home and she'd powered up into Sailor Hydra.
From there it didn't take her long to reach the meeting spot they'd agreed on. Unfortunately, she ran a few minutes late which meant she'd run to try and be on time.
By the time she saw Reinerite, her cheeks were flushed and her chest heaving as she panted. Long wisps of turquoise stuck to her cheeks and neck. "I'm so sorry, were you waiting long? I couldn't get out until later than I thought."
How embarrassing.

Reinerite had been waiting for around 10 minutes - or at least thereabouts by her reckoning - when she heard the sound of what sounded like footsteps.
Footsteps that had been preceded by an aura that had had the comforting feel of chaos to it.
She pushed herself straight as the footstep sounds got closer, her grey eyes shifting almost automatically to peer in their direction.
It turned out to be Hydra and as the other girl approached she walked towards her.
Whilst she had been a little annoyed at having to wait, Reinerite kept it to herself as she shook her head at Hydra's question "No" she said, because it would have been hard to miss that the other girl had been running and Hydra had apologised... And the extra time she had spent waiting was in part down to the fact that she had been on the early side when she arrived. "Not that long."
She smiled as she waited for Hydra to catch her breath before continuing "So did you have somewhere in particular that you wanted to patrol?" Because she hadn't thought to ask about anything beyond a meeting time and place earlier.

Hydra looked prepared to wince if Reinerite was upset at her tardiness and was utterly relieved when no lashing out ensued. Most of the time, she was terribly punctual but for some reason her pops wanted to have a too long chat about something she couldn't even remember.
"Sneaking out is way harder than the movies make it look." She shook her head, reaching to peel slightly damp hair from her neck. She wished she had the foresight to bring a hair tie or something to pulling it off her neck.
"Um, not really? I mostly wander the parks since those are more familiar to me," she admitted with a slight flush staining her cheeks. "I'm not - I don't really know too much of what I'm doing. General Aurostibite tries but he's busy and I missed a lot after that big meeting. I meant to attend the other ones but I - " she paused and chewed on her lip as she toyed with the ends of her stupidly long hair. "I didn't know how to get there and I missed them."

"I can't really comment" Reinerite admitted. "Since I don't have to sneak out." It was one of the benefits in a way to living in dorms. "If I'm late home then people tend to think that it's because I've been spending the time studying." At least when classes were running they did.
And as long as she kept up her grades, didn't visibly get into trouble and made sure to be around for the once a fortnight chat to her parents - well make that her mother since her father was generally busy with work - then her parents didn't really care that much either.
Which was perhaps the one useful thing about being the middle Williams child.
"I don't mind heading the direction of one of the parks" she said at Hydra's admission of not really having anywhere in particular that she wanted to patrol
A simple shrug as she continued "I've been going to the park a fair bit anyway - especially with the weather being so nice." It had been for the most part a good place to work on making quota and a welcome relief from having to trawl the outside of bars for drunks.
"And I went to both the Information and Infiltration meeting so I can tell you what went on them if you want" in part because it was no skin of her nose to share the information and in part because they shared a General which made them team mates of a sort. "Although you're kind out of luck if you want to know about the Special Operations meeting because I didn't manage to make it to that one."
It wasn't because of the lack of opportunity as the General King in charge of the Information meeting - Axinite - had been kind enough to let those attending leave early if they wanted so that they could make the start of the Special Operations meeting.
No it had been because the Information meeting had been so interesting that Reinerite had found herself wanting to stay until the very end.

"Ugh, you're so lucky," Hydra groaned thinking about how she always had to be incredibly careful when she took the screen out of her bedroom window. It was part of being a teenager she supposed, though she'd always expected to be sneaking out for reasons like boys or parties or friends, not because of some weird military-esque duty.
She was also the only child of a single father and when he got protective and attentive, he always went overboard.
"Yeah, I mean I love fall," she said happily, thinking of the leaves changing color and getting to wear sweaters and layers and all good fall things. When the older girl told her that she went to at least two meetings, Hydra seemed to light up.
"Really? Oh that'd be lovely." It would be nice to get some information from someone other than their shared general, it helped the corrupt feel a little more...useful when she didn't have to continually pester him. "Oh, that's okay. I don't - I don't special operations is something I'm suited for anyway." She didn't mind a few fights and scrabbles but she didn't want to actively seek out to kill someone.
No thank you.
"I really appreciate everything y'know..."

"I like the fall weather too," Reinerite admitted. "Because it's still relatively warm without being overbearingly so." It was for that same reason that she loathed the summer - particularly since she generally spent it having to deal with having to slather on high factor sun cream and the misery of frizzy hair.
"Sure" Reinerite said with a simple nod, because she wasn't generally in the habit of making offers that she didn't mean. "Although perhaps we should wait until we reach the park before we talk about the meetings."
She continued "General King Axinite also gave us all a folder covering the basic points of the Information meeting and so I brought it along in case you wanted to take a look at it" a gloved hand indicated the satchel that she had sometimes taken to bringing along with her. "But he also stressed that the information in it is confidential to the Negaverse so I don't want to get it out here."
And whilst she wasn't picking up on any other auras - well at least not apart from Hydra's - Reinerite was also aware that one couldn't be too careful.

She nodded, grinning up at the Reinerite. "I like excuses to drink hot chocolate or sometimes, if I can manage, one of those pumpkin spice ones." It wasn't often, but Hydra like to splurge on pumpkin spice from one of the coffee shops. If she was really lucky she could do it once every two weeks, but most of the time it was a specially reserved treat.
"Oh," she said in surprise, blinking because that hadn't occurred to her, which made her feel a little silly. "Yeah, no, uh...that makes sense." She quipped a bit too enthusiastically to try and hide her mild embarrassment.
"I'd like to look at it, when we find a place to." Her fingers toyed with the edge of her skirt as she walked along side her companion. "Um," she glanced at Reinerite from the corner of her eye. "How long have you been doing this? You just - you seem more confident and sure than I feel."

Reinerite nodded at Hydra's comment about hot chocolate as she fell into step with the turquoise-haired corrupt, although she personally tended to go for hot drinks as an accompaniment to desserts...
Because Ashley and by extension Reinerite tended to be more about the dessert.
Her grey eyes turned thoughtful at the Hydra's question about how long she'd part of the Negaverse, lips tilted into a part frown as she considered the question "Since towards the end of March" she said at last.
It had been shortly before the cave mission, which had been her first real mission for the Negaverse.
Admittedly it had also been the only mission that she had undertaken for the Negaverse, because working on trying to keep up with her quota probably didn't really count.
"And I guess I've just been working at things - I've signed up for the Training Corps that is being run by General Leucite and I've done some studying of the training guide when I've gone to hand in my quota."
Okay it had been a little bit more than some studying since once she had found out about the guide's existence, Reinerite had done her best to go through the information contained within it.
But she wasn't going to admit to the fact that she had spent a lot of the time prior to classes breaking for the summer burning the midnight oil any more than she was planning to mention that she had signed up for the Negaverse tournament.
Although in the case of the latter it had more to do with the fact that she had effectively ended up being knocked out in the first round which wasn't something that she was particularly proud off - even if it was Bloodstone she had been paired against and even if she had made him have to work for the victory in question.

"Oh," she said quietly. Reinerite had been apart of the Negaverse for slightly less time than she had and yet - she was more involved, better prepared. Hydra felt a little overwhelmed by that knowledge but she shook her head and rolled her shoulders back.
It was fine, she just needed to adapt a little better. She had time to catch up, she'd be finew.
"Wait, there's a training guide??" It was impossible for her to hide her disbelief, with her blue-green eyes wide and her hands clasping over her mouth in the aftermath of her outburst.
Okay, she really needed to make someone take her to negaspace so she could look at the guide and other things.
Hydra groaned and rubbed at her face. What else had she missed? This was more than a little embarrassing to her, her younger age probably more prevalent in the wake of all this information.
"What's the training corps like?" She asked, hoping to draw attention back to the other girl than her own follies.

Reinerite nodded at Hydra's question "Yes, although it was something that I stumbled across kind of by accident."
It was something that had actually come up randomly in conversation with a Captain who had been kind enough to ferry her to Negaspace so that Reinerite could hand in her quota and the same Captain had been kind enough to show her where the information was kept so that she could look over it.
It had been the first time but not the last as Reinerite had taken the opportunity to use the time when handing in quota to also look over the information recorded in the guide.
Whilst Hydra's reaction to her comments were noted, Reinerite tactfully held her tongue, absently reaching up to brush blue curls from her face as she said "From what I've seen so far General Leucite seems to be very different to General Aurostibite in manner."
She smiled "Although I'm not saying that's a bad thing since it's probably useful to get experience with different people anyway in all of this and he made us come up with ways with trying to make use of our weapons."
Reinerite personally thought that Hydra was lucky given that she didn't have to deal with trying to make something that was clearly not a weapon work, but Reinerite wasn't going to let the fact that her 'weapon' was a snowglobe stop her from getting ahead in the Negaverse...
After all she had no intention of being a Lieutenant forever.xNuxaz I forgot to mention, but the training guide that she's referring to is this

"Do you, do you think you can show me?" She asked tentatively. She didn't think that the older girl wouldn't or that if she asked Aurostibite that he'd say no, but she didn't want to overly rely on the general. Besides, it could have been a bonding opportunity for them. Maybe, she hoped.
"From what I've seen, not a lot of people are like our general." General Obsidian was certainly something different and Hydra didn't think that just because she was sort of crushing on the man. "There was that uh dragon lady, she seemed pretty different too." Her exposure was painfully limited to those under General Aurostibite and those she'd met during the meeting and excursions.
All of her other powered experiences had mostly been with senshi from the other side, most of which who seemed to either like butting into business that wasn't there's or to tell her she was wrong.
Hydra really didn't like that.
"Does he work with um, senshi like me? I've got some practice with my magic but not a lot. It takes forever to rise." It was really just a few seconds, but everything felt like ages in the heat of a battle. "You should like, chuck your snow globe at people. It'd probably really hurt."

"Sure" Reinerite agreed. "I can give you my contact details if you want since it might make it easier for us to arrange something."
A rueful smile tinged her lips as she continued "Particularly as we will need to factor finding someone willing to transport us to Negaspace."
Reinerite guessed that they could perhaps ask their shared General, however she was reluctant to trouble Aurostibite for something that was kind of small...
And besides she had kind of gotten used to the whole looking for someone willing to give her a transport on the occasions when she needed to hand in her quota and this - this would just be an extension of that - kind of.
The smile faded to a thoughtful look at Hydra's question about whether Leucite worked with corrupted senshi like her.
"I'm not sure" she admitted, "But he did say that we should take the opportunity to do so since we don't have have magic like you."
The park came into view and Reinerite walked towards it as she continued "And I've considered that one since the snow globe seems solid enough" after all it had held up well enough when she had wrapped her belt round it in order to try and hammer at stone during the cave mission "One of the Lieutenants at the training corps also suggested that I try using it as some sort of trip aid, although I'd probably need to be out with someone in order to try something like that out."
Her grey eyes looked towards Hydra "By the way if you don't mind me asking what does your magic do?" Because Reinerite was curious and - as she had admitted before - didn't have magic of her own.

The teen nodded excitedly, cheeks tinged pink from a mixture of slight embarrassment and happiness. The agreement didn't mean that they were friends, but Hydra figured it was the first step and she didn't have very many friends besides her cat and some of the older volunteers that liked to play mother to her. "That would be great. Um, my phone is one of those pay-per-minute phones so texting is generally better."
They couldn't afford anything better and it was supposed to be for emergencies or letting her pops know where she'd be after school.
"Ha, yeah. Do you think we'll be able to do that soon? The whole teleporting thing is kinda crazy and cool." She'd only been ferried by Aurostibite or summoned by him. That was also a cool thing she wondered if she'd be able to do too.
"We can probably find someone, maybe we'll get lucky and like someone would be willing to let us hitch a ride if we asked over the communication network?" Though she thought the crystals were kinda dumb and need of an update. But so did her actual phone.
"Maybe I'll put in a request for a meeting, I don't think we're, corrupt senshi that is, very common." She'd only seen a handful and based on the way people looked at her, she could only assume many hadn't seen one.
"Magic is like really cool? Okay so," she started, excitement filling her tiny frame. "I can summon this wave that is like, no joke, twice as big as I am and the ground rumbles around me and I can sorta throw it at whomever is in front of me?"
