Okay. Now he was going to get serious about this. The youth gathered all his materials again, a little sad that he no longer had the feathers. Giving a soft sigh he leaned back to look up forlornly at the skies. He really wanted those feathers. As he made to straighten himself he heard a familiar trill of his nonwada, Rukeia. He sat up and let out a happy sound when he saw that the female beast had brought back the feathers that he thought were lost to him. He reached out happily taking the feathers in one hand as the other affectionately stroked his beloved companion. He hummed as he started again, Rukeia landed to watch over his shoulder.

As Kyrian got out the tools that Rikko had given him, he noticed a etching nail had been tossed in there. Interesting...maybe he could etching something on the beads. As the youth looked over the nail he decided to put it to the side for now. His current goal...getting these earring's threaded and fastened like Rikko taught him. He had the hooks to put them in his ears, the wire, the thread...the beads, the bells and the feathers. Yup. That was everything. Okay..Rikko used a combo of thread and wire. He picked up the small hook tool as he carefully threaded the cord through the eyelet. Once he had that he lopped it back to leave it as a long piece. He then took the wire, twisting it to form a single drop. He twisted the cord around the wire, threading the beads as he pictured them. As he got to the end he threaded the fastener on. Using the wire for that, he used the ends of the string for the bells. He fitted the feathers into the fastener, tightening it around the ends.

He sat back with a happy little smile. "Done...what do you think Ru?" He held up the pair for the female beast to examine. She let out a happy pleased trill. Kyrian grinned as he glanced to the etching nail...

He sat there for a few hours. Tapping the end of the etching nail as he thought about it. He looked up and watched the waves on the shore. Eyes focused on the swirl of the foam on the shoreline. He put down the nail to pick up a piece of charcoal and parchment. He tested out the pattern a few times..deciding on one he picked up the nail again.

He worked slow. Careful as he made sure that the pattern wasn't going to harm the bead more than he was already carving. As he carved the pattern carefully...Rukeia landed on the table. Kyrian paid her little mind as the nonwda started eating a few berries. She looked down to the pale feathers reaching out to play with them. Kyrian blinked as he looked up and giggled. "Ru...you silly girl..."

He pulled the other earring over to him. Blinking at the dye on the pale feather duo...that was interesting. He finished the pattern before letting the berry stained limbs of the small delicate beast dye them as well. Rukeia set the other earring down as Kyrian finished his other pattern. As he sat back the youth let out a long sigh...now was time to get his ears pierced so he could wear his new earrings to show Mano. He smiled as he got up with the pair in his hands...
