Hey ladies, your favorite guild captain here. I've been extremely busy in my RL lately I haven't much time for Gaia and to run the guild. I love the guild and I love you ladies but it's time to step down and for someone younger without a busy hectic life to take over. I will be taking PMs from applicants, I'm not even going to provide an application, just PM me a generic one with info you think I should know for the next guild captain credentials. As of yesterday I'm now 27, I have a 5 month old puppy, a night shift job and with Pokémon GO released, all my spare time is taken up. I will be taking applications until August 1st and then I contact the person I chose to take over and then announce to the to the guild. This has been a difficult decision I've thought a lot about, and now it's time to hand over the reins to the next generation of Gaia ladies.

I barely remember to log into Gaia and wouldn't be very good as guild captain, hoping somebody can relieve you of the position though since you want to retire

I would love to be the guild leader, if only for a short time as a temporary until you can find someone else.
Also im sorry to see you go. i turned 21 last Wednesday and celebrated by 9th year here on gaia the same week. I understand how busy life gets. between my mentoring,schooling, charity and business work ( most of what i do is online) mine is busy as well but i would have the time to atleast keep the guild running.
At the very least i would love to be an assistant of sorts to help the new leader with anything.
also can i add you on facebook ? maybe we can make a facebook group for the guild ? just a thought

I have thought of that, but again, I'm ready to retire as guild captain. You can add me on Facebook. If you can find me. I believe you can find me by my nickname Shiny. Look for Julia Reed and then the nickname? I'm not sure how it works

It's sad to see you go Shiny! But you gotta do what you gotta do.
I myself would love to run for the position but I'm entering senior year of high school and I'm afraid that once it happens I won't have time for the guild let alone Gaia.
I hope you find us a new good new addition to the Captain spot(I'm gonna miss you tho!!!!)

And of course as I said in my announcement, I'll gladly answer any questions I can too. Shiny is now Crew at my request, and her offer, so I can transition into being the new leader a little easier.
