APPEARANCE - Tall (6’3’’)
- Broad Shouldered and naturally thick, he works out with an emphasis on strength and speed, not bulk. (Think running back that is a little too tall.)
- He has dark sandy hair in various blonde tones from time spent in the sun, it’s very thick and moderately curly. His preferred style is typically just sloppy manbun, or undercut + sloppy topknot.
- Skin is tan and a bit weathered, he doesn’t use sunscreen ever.
- Face is angular with a sharp chin and hooked nose. He has a jagged but thin scar running from his forehead, down between his eyes, over the brim of his nose and onto his right cheekbone.
- Eyes are a smoky jade.
- He prefers easy clothing - jeans, often ripped, with flannel shirts when it’s cool out or beaters and cotton V-neck Ts when it’s warm.
PERSONALITY - Predictable: Whittaker wakes up at the same time every day, has the same nutritious and tasteless breakfast, and works out all before 8 am. He has a precise method of finding and catching bail jumpers - research, tracking, and then the apprehension after several days of planning. He never makes a move until he knows what to expect from his target. He is predictable and appreciates predictability in his life.
- Introvert: Whittaker is quiet and keeps to himself, preferring not to draw attention or even talk to other people if he can help it. When he isn’t working, he’s working out or working with his hands - he’s currently in the process of restoring a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. It’s a nice, people-free hobby.
- Borderline Pessimist: It’s not that Whitt thinks the worst will always happen, precisely, but that he thinks anything that depends on the good will and moral standing of others is likely to fail. He has little faith left in the goodness of humanity and never likes to rely on others for anything he can learn to do himself.
- Abrasive: He likes to be left alone, period. The more time he spends in someone’s presence, the more likely they are to realize that he isn’t very personable and he doesn’t have much interest in bonding. Socializing puts stress on his otherwise quiet world and he has been known to snap over simple misunderstandings, poorly-timed jokes or just not getting his space when he asks for it. Part of his introverted nature is recognizing these shortcomings in himself - he just prefers to be alone if the alternative is raging out at the people around him.
- Impersonal: Whitt doesn’t like to share his personal details and cares even less for those that do. He doesn’t want to know who is dating who, he doesn’t care about your family photos, and he most certainly will not come to your house party. The only time someone’s personal life matters to him is when it helps him catch his target.
- Honorable: If Whittaker says he will do something, he’ll do it. If he makes a promise, he keeps it. He won’t kick a man when he’s down and he won’t lie to get what he wants. Part of his lack of faith in humanity is the idea that most people have lost their moral standing and become too self-involved - he would be untrue to himself if he didn’t do his best to be the person he wants to see in the world.
