At the zoo, people were usually so busy looking at animals that they hardly paid attention to those around them. That was why Ptolemaeus found it to be an ideal place for gathering energy, especially when his mirrorwraith could slip through crowds virtually undetected.

Since it was the weekend, there were plenty of families wandering around. Children were busy gawking, screaming, and pointing at exhibits while their parents struggled to keep up with and keep track of their excitable charges. No one really bothered to notice the small wisps of shadow slipping in and out of the crowds.

Pleased with his strategy, the dark mirror senshi lounged in a tree within a forest habitat exhibit. He wasn't sure what animal dwelled there, but he wasn't too concerned at the moment. The leafy canopy provided both shade and concealment from the zoo visitors, so Ptolemaeus didn't worry about being found out. Not unless there was another powered being around to sense his energy signature, at least.
