There now exists a founding group of four individuals who refer to themselves as the Magicians and Dusters (MaD). They are undoubtedly a little known group at this point, but that's okay.
And that aside, well, the following can explain how talk of MaD's establishment started.
Rick asked Elysha and Caely if there was a Men in Black organization of civilians he could send something like a bat signal to for back up if he encountered another monster and wanted to opt to avoid drawing attention to a gathering of multiple Order power signatures. By this time, Elysha, Caely, and Rick were aware of each other's powered identities. Oh, and Lyselle, she also tailed the trio in a stroke of luck, learned each of their powered identities when they transformed, and promptly cheered in amazement, consequently ending her stealth mode; and, bam, secrets having to do with magic between all four of them zoomed to nearly nonexistent.
Anyway, back on track, that conversation was summed up with a no. Then, at some later point, Elysha was going on about her fascination with dusters. This somehow led to sharing how the name of the type of clothing resembled magical lingo referring to dusting Chaos foes. Caely proceeded to joke within their gathering of four that maybe the four of them can start a Men in Black type of organization called Magicians and Dusters (MaD). Lyselle, unsurprisingly, loved the idea, declared her support of its creation, and demanded that should they choose to establish it, she is not to be excluded under the logic that she has no magical form. This, also unsurprisingly, led to a debate between the group's lovebirds, Rick and Lyselle.
Elysha and Caely continued the discussion beside the preoccupied couple. Caely went on to say that working with civilians may increase the chances of subduing the brutality of the Negaverse. Elysha had then responded next that she understood the potential of the ideas being discussed and added that perhaps this could be a program that trains survival skills but covertly through such activities as athletic obstacle courses, paintball matches, sports days, and so on. To mix things up, there can also be karaoke get-togethers, dance nights, gaming meet ups, and the like. The dusters worn could be a symbol expressing one's stance in protest to the unlawful hunting the Negaverse is known for that is wrapped up in an at-any-cost motto being exercised. And she stressed that perhaps it would cause confusion on the part of those of Chaos if there were seemingly outnumbered in powered numbers by opponents in the face of powered fighters and civilians in powered costumes both wearing dusters. Caely brought up the matter of power signatures. To which, Elysha agreed with it being something of sure importance to take into account and also shared about wondering if there is in existence a form of technology that can falsify power signatures for confusion tactics as well.
And from there, these four oddball founders continued holding meetings for developments and adventures dedicated to their MaD group growth time after time.
