Once upon a time, during the silver millennium, when the cosmos was filled with diverse life forms and cultures; there was a smol asteroid that was ignored by most. It was a homeworld saturated with rage, where warriors were born and raised and died, molded by civil war and barbaric traditions and rituals. The pinnacle of life on Asteroid 88588 was the Berserkir; once mortal but so tainted by bloodlust they were forever stripped of their sanity and self control. Birthed in the shadow of heroic spirits whose brilliance ignored their rage, they were forever lost in the darkness. The Kings of old watched over these lost and forsaken creatures, subduing them, containing them; until the drums of war called them to the battlefield and release their anger.
Destiny City, 24th of June 2016 - It had been threatening to rain all night.
The sun was just beginning to peer over the horizon. It was summertime, so even at four am the sky was beginning to turn a deep shade of crimson. Dark clouds lingered above the city and the faint rumbling of thunder could be heard in the distance; it was comfortably warm and the people below knew they were in for one hell of a storm. Then the first flash broke the darkness and for a split second there was light, the thunder sounding out like a hammer on an anvil.
Four weeks ago a strange creature from the depths of Mirrorspace came across a starseed, a wraith, a creature that was usually no larger than a house cat - now transformed. It wrapped its tendrils around the glowing object, attracted to its light like a moth to a flame and for a month fed off its energy. The mutation took hold slowly but surely enough the wraiths form changed until it was no longer recognisable. It took on the form of a behemoth, mortal in appearance but much larger than any mortal could ever be. However the most alarming change in its biology was the fact it could touch, no longer intangible monstrosity but a physical creature.
Now it has achieved its final form it stirred from the depths and found its way out into the human realm.
The creature exited the mirror slowly, it was newly formed and childlike in its curiosity. It felt the air for the first time, the feeling of stone under bare feet. Trying to quickly come to terms with its new life and it's strange surroundings its staggered and growled, irritated by the unknown. Stumbling forwards a few steps it bumped into the side of a car and jumped back as its alarm started sounding. The noise it made was a mixture between a lion's roar and a mechanical screech, like glass scratching glass - when that did not shut up the iron horse, the creature resorted to violence.
The creature grunted and punched the hood, crimping the metal like paper, but the vehicle only let out a louder scream. The monster then lifted it off the ground and threw the vehicle down the street with very little effort. Finally, the iron horse lay dead and silent. The monster looked towards the sky, the storm above seeming to sooth it if not for a moment. Covering its head and running down its back was the pelt of a bear and around its waist hung loose fabric and ties. The creatures skin had a sheen to it similar to a regular wraiths, but under it ran red veins, glowing with the same intensity as its eyes.
ICly: It is just a normal night; you may be sleeping, you may be out on patrol, you may be in a meeting with your superior officer, you may be napping in your kitty tower. However around 4am, very un-normal things start to happen on this very normal night! There is an unusual power source that has popped up out of nowhere! It is chaos, but not chaos like you may have sensed before, this aura is radiating something else.Rage, uncontrollable rage. Powered beings of Destiny City, be you chaos or be you order, stand and defend your home before it falls. Next post to come tomorrow, if you just want to arrive, group up and observe for now I will put up battle rules when I get an idea of numbers participating - I am aware RL has eaten people since sign-ups :3

Bob - Chaos Guardian Cat
It had started as any other potentially stormy night would, with Bob sleeping soundly at the end of the plush comforter of his master's king sized bed. He'd spent the evening hours with a glazed expression as he stared mindlessly off at the television set, but the lull of the dark clouds outside and the promise of thunderstorm sounds finally convinced him to switch off the HDTV and trudge his way up to the bedroom.
The thunder finally came and with it, one or two blissful hours of peaceful dreaming. His tail was curled under his chin, paws nestled beneath him, not a care in the world to bother him.
That is, until the aura appeared.
The sensation roused him from his slumber, a nagging feeling that yanked at the back of his thoughts. One eye slowly opened and he looked around, first to the digital clock on the nightstand. Four? Really?
What overachieving Captain or General could be causing such a ruckus at this hour?
But the feeling persisted, soon becoming evident that it was not the kind of Chaos he was used to.
With an exaggerated sigh, he stretched out his paws and back before descending from the bed, down the stairs and out the kitchen window with a forceful shove. Best he figure out what in the world was going on, else it would more than likely bug him for the rest of the day. Then again, he might find himself in a world of trouble for checking this out...
Curiosity killed the cat, after all.

The sky was crimson. The color was often associated with passion by the ancients. Sometimes with love. Always with war.
Erytheia couldn't help but recite an old rhyme in his mind as he watched the sanguine sunrise from his perch on a choice tree amongst Destiny City's paved streets.
"Red sky at night, sailors' delight; Red sky at morning, sailors take warning."
The page of Cosmos could smell the wet air as he prepared to end his night watch. Not a thing had happened all night on patrol expect for the threat of rain. Even without the aid of old proverbs about prediction and the weather, he knew a storm was brewing.
And that is when he felt it and a low chime could be heard from his golden incense burner as the bell inside reacted to the trembling of his hand with fear. The aura he felt was strong, old. It was chaos.
Eternal Senshi, Harmonia The evening had been a quiet one, but the Eternal senshi had opted to stay out the night until the first rays of false dawn began to peek over the horizon. Thankfully, with summer vacation having started, she was in no dire need to find the comfort of her bed by the early morning hours. Harmonia’s parents didn’t seem to mind that she slept until noon some mornings either. Knowing them, they probably chocked it up to typical teenage things to do. It worked out though.
So with the coming dawn, Harmonia was making her way back to her house. In fact, she hopped down into her usual alleyway to power down when she felt a raging power signature engulf her senses. She rocked on her heels at the sudden power influx, as her head snapped up in the general direction it had come from. “That can’t be good.” She murmured to herself. Wasting no time, she scaled back up the buildings to the rooftop, eyes shifting in the direction the signature was emanating from. She couldn’t see anything. The morning still appeared to be tranquil, and to anyone who may be rolling out of their beds at such an early hour, it would look like the start to a beautiful day.
Harmonia wasn’t sure if anyone else she knew would still be awake at this time. Not everyone tended to stay out the entire night on patrol. So, with no other ideas, the Eternal began to move towards the signature and hoped that she wasn’t the only one heading towards what was likely to be some serious trouble. And when she arrived at the scene she was disheartened to find she had been terribly right about the trouble.
Hy-Brasil, Squire of Earth Gwen yawned as rolled in her bed towards the warm body that was her boyfriend. She smiled as she melded her body against his, relishing the moment of quiet before she needed to get up. The only problem with her job was it required fairly early morning. Especially when there were several orders which was the case that morning. She lingered in bed for as long as she could before finally pushing herself out of the light covers. Gwen crept around the room, gathering her clothes before moving to the shower.
The warmth of the shower helped to wake her up and she went about her normal routine. Unfortunately it was quickly rocked when she felt the rage hit her like a blow to the chest. “The hell is that.” She’d never quite felt something like that before. “Dammit, I thought this kind of s**t tended to happen at night.” With work ahead she almost decided to try and ignore it, but the feeling of intense anger and rage was too much. Grabbing her clothes she threw them on. Hair still wet she hurried out the front door as quietly as possible so as not to disturb Isaiah.
A few minutes later, from a few blocks over, Hy-Brasil appeared and began hurrying off towards the city in search of whatever it was that was causing such an ominous feeling.
It hadn't taken her long to find the odd creature and it appeared others were beginning to arrive as well. It's chaos signature was alarming and Hy-Brasil glanced around to see if others could give her a clue as to what they were going to do.
Lieutenant Violane Violane stretched. She was contently perched on the roof of a building not too far from DCU. She had spent the entire night powered up out prowling around working on her quota that Cinnabar had been quite adamant she meet. If it benefitted her standing within the Negaverse she was willing to go about draining energy. Plus, it had the added bonus of making her feel superior to her victims so that certainly helped her interest in the act.
With dawn approaching, the Lieutenant pondered heading back home. The night was basically over and causing trouble in daylight wasn’t the smartest of moves. As determined as she was to prove herself, she wasn’t idiotic. The last thing she wanted was to pull any sort of police notice. She could situate herself somewhere come evening. Maybe a local club? Or not far from one? After all, that had been where Cinnabar had found her. Thankfully that whole encounter had turned out for Violane’s benefit.
A chaotic energy filled with rage and power suddenly flared to life. Eyes narrowed as Violane looked towards the direction it was originating. Well, maybe the night’s events were going to spill over into the morning after all. Violane would be lying if she said she wasn’t at all curious about what was causing such a signature. So, rising to her feet, she brushed off any lingering dirt from her pants before moving towards the signature.
Upon arriving on the scene she kept herself hidden on the rooftops. She wasn’t quite sure what was going to happen and the flare of order signatures was enough to cause the young woman to be wary of showing herself.

General Benitoite
It was late - really late and yet here he was out and about. It wasn't that he wanted to be out per say but he needed to be out patrolling and he couldn't earlier - he'd been....preoccupied. Aiden was back at his home tucked into his bed sleeping, or so he hoped. he had snuck out to make a sweep of the city that's why he picked up on something which slammed against his senses.
It wasn't often that something took him by surprise but what he felt certainly did that. It was chaos, that was for sure, but what came with it - the rage...that wasn't normal and the chaos wasn't Negaverse nor was it dark mirror...so then what? Did he dare go closer and find out? Yes - he dare. The idea, the question, had been there a moment before he reminded himself that others could feel it if they were out and some newer officer might go to investigate, or become a target for whatever this power source was. He didn't like the idea - not one bit.
It was because of that, and wanting answers himself, that he headed toward the source of the unusual, and a bit frightening, aura. Ignoring the rain which fell about him, soaked his uniform and weighed it down, the sound of thunder and flashes of lighting soothed and calmed the General of what fears he did feel. He didn't like the feeling of that aura in the distance - it was wrong...not normal or something he'd ever felt before.

Page Venice
He should have been asleep, really he should have, but he couldn't sleep and after hours and twisting and turning in his bed in an attempt to sleep he'd decided to leave his families apartment building and wander the city. He'd been wandering for an hour now, enjoying the warm, though not too warm, night as the air felt like it would rain soon - very soon.
He didn't know why but the urge to go to his wonder, maybe try and sleep there, had hit him and Seung ducked into a small playground in order to hide behind a few trees and power up. He was ready to head for his wonder the moment he'd powered up but he froze. Something was wrong and felt bad - really bad. Shivering he let the night air ruffle his hair as lighting overhead flashed and the air was filled with a rumbling that could shake windows. As rain fell down around him, soaked through his uniform, he stepped out from under the cover of the trees and headed for the aura he felt.
<"What could it be...?"> He whispered to himself, to the night. He knew if Erebus knew he was going toward such an aura the other would throw a fit, he knew a few people who would and yet he still headed for it.

Sailor Nephthys
Alone again, both her parents elsewhere for work, Genevieve had been home alone which was nothing new for her. But she had to make a fast run out to one of the small local convince stores and that was different. It was late, well past midnight, but she had found herself unable to sleep thanks to allergies and the pills she had been taking weren't working - still.
The small pharmacy not far from her home was walked to as the warm-ish air brushed against bare legs. Rain was in the air, she was sure it would rain soon - hopefully once she was asleep. What she hadn't been expecting was to get into a fight with a youma on her way home, purchase hanging from her arm in a plastic bag. She had seen the youma attacking a local homeless man and without thought she dropped her purchase into a nice little safe spot before covering herself, she ducked behind a large mailbox, and powered up.
Once powered up she took care of the youma rather quickly and it was then that the sky opened up, right after lighting lit up the sky, and then she felt it. It felt dark, like chaos, but it wasn't that same as a Negaverse officer and she was pretty sure it wasn't a dark mirror senshi. She couldn't be sure, as she'd never met one or been near one, but something told her this wasn't one. This was something else.
She should go home, she could easily go home and get away with it - no one would know. But...but she would know and she couldn't just ignore this. Huffing she took off toward the aura while hoping she was not diving, head first, into something far too big for her.

Tomlin, Order Guardian Cat
Tomlin liked to stay up for the dawn. He liked to watch it break over the horizon, washing light over the city and its defenders, as if the blight of chaos could be swept away as easily as the night.
It would have been a pretty sunrise, but the storm made him uneasy. He could feel the drumbeat thunder under his paws as he stalked the back alleys. A glance up at the dark clouds had his ears flattening at how low and close they hung. It sounded like they were going to get a more ferocious lightshow before the daylight got a look in. Great to watch, but not so fun to be caught in. Best to look for a dry corner, he decided, if he wanted to watch the storm before he settled down to sleep the day away. He knew a few safe places, bolt-holes where no-one would disturb a cat. If the storm stayed distant, he had more options, especially on a warm night like this.
The lightning took its cue, flashing brilliantly over the still-dark streets, and with it came another roll of thunder, and a thick, ominous sensation that the cat could only identify as chaos. He stopped in place, fur bristling up. The aura was strong, but strange. He couldn’t pick it as youma or general or corrupt… Only its sheer anger stood out clearly.
All thought of shelter forgotten, Tomlin took off towards the source, a streak of orange dashing through the streets. It wasn’t hard to track a signature so strong. By the time he got close, he could feel a few other powered auras converging on the area, both order and chaos – that suggested he was in the right place. And then there was the car. The car had had a rough day. Tomlin climbed up onto the twisted metal of the beaten and thrown vehicle, perching on a tyre to cautiously survey the scene. The view left him none the wiser. If that was a youma, it wasn’t like any he’d seen before.
Time still had no meaning to the dark man lumbering through the streets, not after so long without so much as a window to help him keep the days. It was so late at night that the sky overhead was starting to tinge with the colors of early morning and despite the ever-present weariness in his bones, his eyes were wide and more aware than they had seemed in months. After so long trapped in his wonder, he didn't know if he felt more at peace within Gehenna's power or in his own skin as Kamboja, but he did know one thing for certain. Sleep had not come to him in days without the memories he'd been given replaying through his mind and thus, he was awake. And sober.
There was an unhealthy tint to the dreadhead, whose skin, now exposed by the sudden lack of armor his demotion had gifted him, seemed paler than was natural. The dark eyes were sunken and his demeanor seemed, for once, to lack any of the usual humor his friends had come to know him for. There was only the knowledge of who he was and who he'd been, the mistakes he'd made and the ones he might yet make if he did not take his cosmic warning seriously.
But tonight? Tonight there was a distraction.
He had been blocks away when the energy signature first exploded onto his senses and though he had been sobered by his experiences, his lack of self-preservation was still glaringly obvious. As he approached the scene, he felt the others beginning to wander in the direction of the energy that was growing more and more alarming the closer he got. Order and chaos alike were streaming into the area until he felt more energy than he didn't, all butted against one another and making the very air feel charged.
As a siren wailed and went silent, the Page drew himself up and leaned back into a brick wall. A cigarette dangled from his lip, trailing smoke into the sky, but Gehenna seemed to have forgotten it. The energy he could feel now, closer, it was.. familiar. The uneasiness that had settled over him grew stronger until he, at last, found the courage to peer around the building's corner.
Somewhere, far down the street, stood something he had never seen before - but he had felt it.
A sharp breath pulled air and smoke into his lungs and, at last, he caught the cigarette in his fingertips and leaned back into the building again, unseen in the shadows it cast. The creature felt like his magic, the all consuming, impossible rage that had plagued his nightmares for years. Magic that had been taken from him for reasons he did not know. He couldn't say if it was punishment or grace.
Both dark eyes fluttered up to catch sight of a redhead approaching him - another Squire, though his energy and uniform now said Page. The hand not holding his cigarette raised in caution between them, then beckoned her to where he stood in the shadow of the building.
"Careful," he said with a raspy voice, unable to summon the playful smile he had always warn before a reckless battle, "I think it just beat a cop car to death."

HI, HY. You can bring Harm over too if you want, up to you!

The creature's nose flared as the city came to life in front of him; not moments before the streets were quiet and now people were beginning to congregate and loiter.
Cats, Knights, Senshi, Negaverse Officers; none of which were nothing more than meat sacks to the monstrosity that stood before them. To him they were moving targets and he very much wanted to make them still. There very presence irritated him and the strain could be read on his face which was souring by the second. Whatever calm the storm had brought was lost to him, and he frowned and pounded the ground like a primate. He was angry.
The creatures skin reflected like glass, its eyes an angry glowing red. Its beard was long and on its back hung the pelt of a black bear. It was not Youma, it was not Wraith, it was something else.
It was then that another Senshi appeared, jumping down from a rooftop to land closer to the creature than she had intended. He sure looked smaller from up there! The senshi, Zhou Yi, looked over at Hy-Brasil and Gehenna and smiled, holding a peace sign to her forehead. “Sorry I am late!” She greeted them, before a shadow loomed over her, she blinked and felt a very cold shiver run down her spine. That, could not be good.
The senshi looked over her shoulder towards the creature and began to back away, eyes wide with shock. What had chaos done? What had they created? “What in the Cosmos are you!?” She shook her head and turned away to run. He was HUGE!
It came too late, the creature lunged forward and wrapped a large hand around the tails that decorated the back of the girls fuku. Zhou Yi screamed as he lifted her up in the air and then brought her down with a loud, bone crunching crash. Her frame hit the road and the Senshi went limp in his grip.
The creature lifted her into the air once more and the girl was silent, unmoving like a ragdoll. He looked at her and sneered, before disregarding her. Zhou Yi hit a nearby wall, thrown with very little effort through the air. She fell into an industrial dumpster and the lid closed behind her. One down, ten more to go.
The creature was strong, and was flexing it muscles. Its neck audibly cracked as he stretched and prepared itself for the fight ahead. His fist pounding against his opposing palm to taunt the powered being that were surrounding.
He pounded his chest and roared that metallic roar once more, crouching down it sprinted towards Harmonia. Tunnel vision took hold and there was nothing to distract it from its target. It ran passed Erytheia and missed his frame by inches as he charged.
It reached out to grab her, to hopefully dash her against the concrete aswell.

The dark man tucked away in the shadows had a single moment to look up into Zhou's eyes - just because the rampaging beast caught her and whipper her around like a toy. Unable to move, too shocked by the suddenness of the rage that he felt swelling in the bast before him, he watched her go limp and disappear into the trash bin.
A wince brought him back to himself as he glanced down to find the cigarette burnt to its stump, stinging the flesh of his fingers through the gloves he hadn't thought to see again. They were not bracers, they had no magic..
The cigarette was forgotten and dropped at his feet as he stepped out from the shadows, closer to Hy, and looked down the long path towards the barreling beast. He was manic and untamed, fighting and bashing and looking for anything. Nausea flared within Gehenna's gut as he realized he was staring at something not unlike himself - something headed right for a Senshi. Images of a bloodied and battered lieutenant rose fresh to his mind as he watched like a deer trapped in headlights.
That thing was far more powerful than Gehenna could ever claim to be. The damage it could do..
The dark man finally stepped out into the open with a large chunk of shattered brick in one palm, shaved off by what he assumed to be the tumble-weed of a cop car that had been crushed and abandoned like an unruly toddler's toy. He pulled it back and tossed it at the beast - missing, of course. All he'd wanted was to grab it's attention, to stop it. <********," he hissed to himself, even as he forced his legs into motion, picking up pace quickly now that his armor was an afterthought. He'd warned others to be careful - and he was going to dive in.

Eternal Sailor, Harmonia The behemoth that had just made quick work of a car was not something that Harmonia had ever laid eyes on before. It was unique in so many ways, but also terrifying with its' size and extreme strength. After all, the car looked like a mere matchbox to him.
A few other energy signatures popped up a few, she noted, had that strong dark feel to them that she always categorized as chaotic. They weren't terribly off from the monster in front of her but there was an acute difference with the amount of rage she could feel. It was curious though, were the agents around to take care of their pet? After all, she could only assume he was a product of the Negaverse since he seemed more...complex than a wild youma.
It was then that another senshi appeared in white bearing multiple tails. Harmonia barely had time to yell a warning to the girl before the creature grabbed her and tossed her around like a broken rag doll.
Harmonia stood there stunned. Torn between running towards the other senshi and wanting ot keep her own distance from the behemoth, but it seemed the creature of chaos had other plans. Whatever she had done, Harmonia had somehow drew its attention and it charged at her, just barely missing another page in it's mad dash towards her.
Eyes grew wide as the young senshi stood in the creatures path froze in fear.
A brick dashed on the cement near her feet, startling her out of her fear. Instinct took over and the Eternal dodge downwards and rolled between the creatures legs letting him sail over top of her.
Scrambling to her feet, the senshi braced herself and faced the back of the behemoth. "Harmony's Reproof!"
Hit = 15 damage
Quote:
Eternal Sailor Attack: Harmony's Reproof Raising her hands upwards, palms facing the sky Harmonia shouts her attack and a golden sparkle dome temporarily appears before fading out. Anyone within the AoE dome who has malicious intent towards anyone will feel a burning pain in their chest. The stronger the intent, the worse the pain is. If a character can let go of their malicious intent the pain will disappear. Duration -- 10 ft for 45 secs Avoided -- Out of AoE Range, no malicious intent Cons -- Very draining/pours a lot of energy into it and will affect -anyone- on the dome.

General Benitoite DAMAGE=15
When the General arrived it was to a scene he was not expecting, and it was a hell of a sight. He was expecting a human, like a senshi, knight, or himself but just...not the same but human like they all were. He wasn't going to see that though as the owner of the aura was something one might imagine seeing in a nightmare, or in some horror movie. "What...on earth." He questioned softly from where he stood on a roof top looking down on the scene.
He wasn't an idiot - he wasn't jumping into the unknown so blindly. he'd let other people be stupid and jump in after this...monster, for lack of a better word. Watching as a group appeared and one idiot senshi went in and got grabbed and turned into a human rag doll. Watching, in morbid fascination, he wanted to applaud the creature but he knew this was no friend of his and this would not be someone to work with - ever. This was an enemy for them all.
"Well, that is an eye opener." He stated from the roof top before dropping down onto the ground and made sure to keep his distance. This was going to be a hell of a fight and he wasn't a fan of the odds against this thing. Maybe he could, if this thing didn't lash out again, find out just who or what this thing was? He doubted it though and decided it was best to just take it out, safer that way.
Summoning his weapon he glanced over the spear once as he took hold of it in his right hand before pitching it at the beast like a javelin.

Page Venice of Ganymede
As the Page got closer he could feel various auras, different power levels, that all seemed to be closing in on the same thing he was closing in on. This wasn't going to be good was it? He could sense the darkness of a Negaverse officer, at least one, as he drew closer to things, almost too close. He knew Erebus would be dragging him away from this and Gévaudan would have scolded him for headed into this, especially alone. But he needed to do this, he needed to stand on his own two feet damn it! He wasn't going to always have others around him, and he shouldn't always call others to hand hold him - he was an adult.
Shaking away the anger he felt welling inside of him he made it in time to see the action start. It was a horrifying scene he came upon, something which chilled him to the core, that senshi was just grabbed and tossed about and broken so easily - without a single care. This was more than he could handle but others were here, including a General and a Knight. He was weak on his own but with others here he was ok, and it really wasn't the same as hand holding like when he always had Erebus with him.
He didn't dislike Erebus, obviously not, but he needed some distance - to work on his own and grow into this role on his own a bit. He needed to learn and experience...to do on his own. He didn't know if the other, or anyone else, would really understand though given how many were involved in this war, and how everyone was different, he supposed odds were in favor of someone understanding.
Without magic he was rather useless but he was here anyway and deciding to do something he summoned his weapon, he still didn't think of it as such, and threw the feather duster at the creature.

You can beat up Venice or Benitoite some. Maybe more damage to Venice? Just cause I wouldn't mind seeing him getting hurt some more, needs to learn and grow - which means injuries.
