[Previously] The young faunus girl blinked for a moment to snap back into reality, realizing that she had been staring at Garnet. She also noticed how she had missed Martin, and began to blush when he winked. Lilian didn't mean to be rude by forgetting him, however, she was glad that he didn't take offense to it either. Lilian watched as everyone began to head toward the cave. She stood there with her soft gaze, thinking how wonderful everyone got along so well with one another, even chuckled at the spat between Lance and the other.
Lilian curled her hair back behind her right ear as a gentle breeze came by. The reminder of her missing twin brother popped up in her head again, and this emotion of sadness slowly consumed her. She turned her head away from the cave and looked out to the forest that echoes with leafs rustling from the cool breeze. She knew her brother was fine, but something unerving she couldn't shake off.....What was the reason for him going to this academy anyway? He did just kinda left without a word way back at home......What was he up to?
Lilian shook her head and smiled to herself once more. She loved her brother more than anything, and had to trust that his intentions are pure. Turning back to her companions, she hurried up to Martins side after hearing his offer of candy. Shyly, wither her left hand she lightly tugged at his right forearm while guiltily looking away. "Could I?.....Maybe?" She asked quietly. Before she was even allowed to hear a response, she heard Leo giving out orders, and quickly snapped into action. "Y-Yes!" She tried to put on a brave face, and hurried to the back as ordered.......
[Present] - After what seemed forever, Lilian saw Beacon Academy for what it was. She let out what would be the sound of joy, and relief before charging inside. "Finally!" She jumped around with joy, giggling to herself. She then began to check certain area's of the assembly halls for herself, and only stopped mid way as she thought she heard her brother call out to her. Quickly turning, she only saw a tower mirror with her reflection. Her heart skipped a beat, and she was quick to hold her hands over her chest. She knew he was here somewhere, she gripped tighter at her shirt, and bit her bottom lip. Even though she was with company, she has never felt so alone in her life. She was always with her twin brother, they were nearly inseparable.....and now, he's missing, well, more or less, he just went his own path away from her. During his earlier time away....Did something happen to have changed him? Lilian, shook her head and placed her hands to the side of her face. "It's okay!" She reassured her, and decided to continue to adventure through the hall. "Come on guys! This place is huge!" She masked her loneliness with a cheerful comment.

[Previously] Lance over heard the threat from his companion, and moved his attention back down to him, a bit puzzled as to why he was still mad. However, when he heard Eva spoke, he quickly turned to her, and placed his hands on her shoulder, giving her a serious expression. "Be careful....Hirsch's cuteness is exceeding dangerously so." He then turned away from Eva and continued down the cave. In sense he was teasing Hirsch even more by saying that him still being mad, and making threats, was rather cute to him. It reminded him of the orphanage, the young boy who he would consider his younger brother. Lance masked his pleasant smile while advancing forward. However, once Leo gave the order, the expression instantly vanished and he looked off to the side with a bored expression. "Ew..." He responded to Leo as if disgusted to be given an order by a male figure. But, nonetheless, Lance followed orders.
[Present] Lance stretched out his arms an yawned as they reached to the Beacon academy. He wasn't as enthralled as Lilian appeared to be, and continued forward. The weather became a bit more decent, however, after entering the Assembly hall, Lance stopped to look around. The first thing he noticed was the central air the seemed to keep this building at a cooler temperature. This was going to be a bit of a challenge....Lance closed his eyes and scratched the back of his head in irritation. "Tch" Was all he could mutter while further entering inside.

『The boy would passivley dismiss Marten's offer by shaking his head softly as he looked around inside of the cave with a low hum. Leo took command and Garnet nodded. He would have thought to challenge him, but teamwork was never really Garnet's strong suit, and Leo seemed to have things under control, which he admired. "You got it, Boss." He said with a small smile as he turned to flank Eva's right side, hands resting gently on the hilts of his swords. His golden eyes would flicker in the torchlight as he glanced around every so often, scanning the area for any possible threats. Luckily, there weren't any and, while he didn't let his guard down, Garnet took solice in knowing that they had made it the staircase without conflict.
Upon the door being opened, Garnet's arms returned to the back of his head as he looked out on the beautiful courtyard. He had made it this far already, they all had. There was no turning back now. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, moving out of the way so the others could get out as well. It only then occurred to him that he had no idea where to go next, besides the assembly hall. That didn't help him, however, because he'd never actually been inside of a place like this and didn't know where to find such a place. With his luck, he would end up in the middle of a field somewhere. 'This is all so... Surreal...' He would think, looking around at the group. He felt out of place among them, knowing most of them probably went through some form of formal training before coming here and he... Well, he hadn't. Garnet wouldn't let that stop him. He would make sure that to show them he deserved to be here with them. Lilian would try to get them moving again, and Garnet would smile at her enthusiasm. "That's the spirit~" He said, voice low.』
≺Vanora let out an sigh when she stepped into the hall, enjoying the fresh air. However, there was no more time to waste. The woman took quick, determined steps as she moved to reach her destination. On the way, her eyes would flicker over a familiar suit of armor for a brief moment and she would stop to salute her, though she was surely ignored. Vanora, however, didn't mind. She would always be respectful to Rosa Cobalt, as she had inspired Nora to get where she is today. Once she was gone, the silver haired woman continued on her way to get down to the assembly hall. 'If Headmistress Cobalt is here, then surely something is amiss.' She made a mental note to get some answers later, though it could wait until then. The students were her top priority at the current moment and she returned her focus to greeting them and giving them a small lecture on the rigorous trials they would endure during their stay. Upon her arrival, Vanora let out a huff to discover the room devoid of students. From the sound of it, they were a group of capable young men and women, so she wasn't worried about them. In the mean time, Vanora would pace vigorously and sort her thoughts out, hoping to clear her mind for their eventual arrival.≻
Chrissy arrived soon after Vanora, nervously pacing as she worried about what Yoru was keeping from them. Whatever it was likely meant trouble for the children. They weren't ready for anything difficult yet, they were too inexperienced. It would take time for them to grow and to learn how to work together if they were to succeed.
As the students started to enter the auditorium she relaxed some, glad to see they hadn't been obviously attacked on their way to the school after being left on their own. They needed all the time that the school could give them to grow and they would face many hardships. She only hoped that whatever was coming would give them that time to teach the children so that they could survive it.
Eva wasn't surprised when Leo took charge, nodding as he arranged them so that they would be able to anticipate an attack from behind as well as deal with one from the front. Thankfully they didn't encounter anything on their way to the school but she was certain that it was mostly luck on their part and perhaps the path had been cleared by the professors earlier.
The cool air of the Assembly Hall made her shiver slightly, glancing at Lance and seeing him looking unhappy. She stood beside him, shoulder to shoulder, so he could absorb some of her warmth. It would probably be bad for him to fall asleep during their introduction ceremony or whatever the teachers were planning now that they were all here.
Hirsch looked up as he was given orders. The little Faunus nodded and circled around, taking up the rear. He was slowly cooling down from his anger. He knew he shouldn't get angry like that so quick, but...dammit, he hated being picked up! He did deserve to be scolded, though, and he knew it.
Present
As soon as the group entered the doors of Beacon, Hirsch was taken aback in sheer awe. His eyes roved over the architecture, the paintings, the hall itself. He began to shake, then leaped into the air in ecstasy.
"Whoo hoo!! We made it into Beacon!!" he shouted excitedly, bouncing around. The little Deer Faunus was beyond ecstatic! If his brother could see him now-!!
Hirsch looked around at everyone, his anger from before gone. While his anger can last a good long while, he was too happy to be here in Beacon to let his previous embarrassment get the better of him!
Walking into the assembly hall, Leo would notice that two of the teachers from the clearing were there waiting for them. Without saying a word, he would walk over to Lilian's side and place his hand on her shoulder softly for a moment, his way of trying to console her over the disappearance of her brother. "Give it time..." He would whisper in her ear before heaving a labored sigh. Slipping off his pack and weapon rig, he would set them on the ground, the pack remaining silent while the weapon rig would land with a very audible thump. Dropping down to a cross-legged sitting position, he would take the leather cord out from his hair, allowing it to drop over his left eye once more as he pulled off his trench coat, gauntlets, and gloves, storing them away in his pack before unzipping his tactical vest, allowing his bare chest to feel the cool air of the room.
Looking to the teachers, Leo would speak up. "Well... we made it. Mind if we ask what the original test for us was before that kark came in and threw a wrench into the plan?" Having caught his breath, he would groan lightly as he got back up onto his feet, his skin shining slightly with sweat from the after effects of the energy he had charged up from earlier, and from the long treck they had made to get to the academy following. Standing tall, he would keep his feet together, hands behind his back, and his shoulders pulled back as he stood at attention. 'Old habits die hard...' He would think to himself with a slight smile, remembering how Old Dalan pounded these mannerisms into him as they traveled the world on their journey.

Marten had been a decent hand at planning and strategy, but how fast Leo was able to position everyone based on their skills. Hearing that Leo wanted him in front of the group, Marten gave a nod. He attaches the gun portion of Broken Sun, moving up to take point. As they walk through the tunnels, Marten keeps his head, and shield, on a swivel in case anything wanted to jump out and attack them.
Finally getting into the Assembly Hall, Marten let out a sigh. He detaches the gun from Broken Sun, slinging the shield across his back as well. He was used to carrying the weapon, but after an extended period of fighting and being tensed for a fight, it did get heavy and hard to carry. Marten looked around, almost instantly spotting the other teachers. He couldn't help but chuckle, giving a quick salute to Vanora, as she was a teacher of his during his time at Atlas.
Marten turns and looks at the rest of the students. He frowns when he notices how Lillian seems distracted and distressed. He walks over, pulling a bag of rock candy from his pack. He holds the bag out to Lillian, a smile on his face. "Here you go Lillian. You said you wanted some earlier and we got caught up in the cave before I could give it to you. I'm sorry about whatever is bothering you, but I'm sure it'll all get better." Stats:

Lilian would be lying if her previous thoughts still bothered her, as the pain lingered in the back of her mind, she still put on a brave face for the sake of everyone else. However, When Leo had approached her, she slightly jump to his sudden touch, and quickly shot a glance at him with a bit of a surprised look. But hearing his calm voiced seemed to ease her, and she watched him walk away. Just as he did so, her eyes moved over to the two female teachers that entered the room. They were both gorgeous, and she was happy to know that she would be taught by them.
Though her attention snapped back to reality when she saw a small bag being offered to her. She examined the content with her gaze before looking up to Martin with a bit of a baffled expression. Though her cheeks lightened to a pink tone, her expression relaxed, and her smile a gentle one. He was very kind to be considerate of her feelings, and the top it off, he was a Faunus too. "Thank you." She said cheerfully. Her smile brightened as she placed her hands gently over the one that offered her the candy. "You're so kind!" In a way she was a bit relieved that someone who was a complete stranger to her, was actually being nice. She only knew of her twin brother who gave her such kindness, and of course Leo, but no one else.
So far, these people have been proving her wrong, that not everyone is full of hate against her or her twin, that they too can be kind. Removing her hands to take a piece of rock candy, she stopped in the middle of placing on in her mouth as her eyes trailed off to a shirtless Leo. Her eyes widen, her face becoming red, and she accidentally began to choke on the rock candy, while flailing about. She never seen a boy naked or even topless for that matter. Was it okay for her to have looked. While coughing up a storm, and whimpering, she had her eyes closed tightly shut to avoid any more eye contact.

『Garnet looked around and tried not to seem too amazed by the interior. After all, this was one of the fanciest buildings he'd ever set foot in, and he was allowed to be here. Garnet just couldn't wrap his mind around it. He'd grown up Seeing the teachers made him a little uneasy, but that was because they were authority figures and, with his background, that was a little bit of a problem. He'd have to work on that, but even more so, the boy would need to allow himself to work with others, as he heard something about being assigned teams during their time here. 'Oh joy... My work is cut out for me.' He thought, lowering his head to rest on his arms. He peaked up for a moment to catch Lilian possibly choking and jumped up to pat her on the back, giving her a concerned look. "Lilian, are you okay??" He asked, looking around for what might have caused it. When he spotted Leo and the candy, he quickly put two and two together. "Ah, I see... Enjoying the scenery, eh?" He chuckled, teasing her a little. "Please, be a little more careful. It'd be a terrible if something bad happened on your first day." He offered a kind smile before going back to his spot on the floor.』
≺The woman snapped out of her daze, stopping in her tracks when she heard the group enter. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "Congratulations on getting here in one piece. I'm glad to see that this many of you made it, and hopefully, there will be a few more." Spotting an old student among the group, she would nod and dismiss his salute before glancing to Leo as he spoke. As for the test... Nora sighed. The situation was surely going to give her a headache. "I don't see the harm in such a question. It was to be a standard initiation exam. After your launch into the forest, the staff would monitor you from a distance without interfering in order testing your ability to work with others on the fly. Typically, you would find a single partner and work together through whatever obstacles came your way to retrieve an item, though your method of reaching the location of the item is up to your discretion." She explained. "Once said item is in your possession, your next task would be to find your way to the rendezvous point where you would be extracted and brought back to the academy." Nora crossed her arms and glanced to the other teacher in the room. "Did I miss anything?"≻
Chrissy nodded as Nora explained before stepping forward to continue. "Yoru and I usually monitor the students more closely, appearing as students to act as an example of the type of teamwork we would like to see from you as well as a quick defense if you are unable to handle the enemy." She looked around at the students, smiling slightly. "We were understandably surprised and somewhat impressed that you seemed to be aware that something was different about us. Generally we don't have much trouble being mistaken for students."
She paced slightly before the students, the bells on her ankles ringing softly as she moved. "Unfortunately this year we did not have the time nor did we feel that the forest was safe enough to allow you to remain for the rest of your initiation. However, we feel that we can still place you in working teams based on your history and your behavior in the forest. We will be monitoring your teams closely to try to ensure that your teams are working well together."
"The headmaster will announce your teams later so for now I will explain what we wish to teach you while you are here. Our aim is to prepare you as best we can to survive what is to come in your life. We hope that by providing you with lessons on Grimm, History, Tactics, Dust Uses, and Aura manipulation as well as introducing you to teamwork early in your careers that you will have everything you need to thrive."
She looked out at the students somewhat sadly, knowing that many of them were likely to die fighting if not all of them. Few Huntsmen or Huntresses had long, uneventful lives. "The people that you meet here will be your support during your time here, if not for the rest of your lives. We are here to help you in any way that we can to ensure that you have the resources you need to become the best that you can. If you feel that you need something or are concerned that we are not providing you with what you need, please feel free to speak up and tell us what we can do to give you a better chance in the future."
"Until Yoru has finished with his meeting, why don't you each introduce yourselves with your skills and specialties? I'll start off to show you what I mean. Some of you may already know as I introduced myself earlier, but my name is Chrysanthemum Sorrel. I'm mostly a close-combat fighter with some mid-range fighting ability." She lifted Choros, the weapon currently in its dual-blade staff form. "This is my weapon," she said as she broke it down to its dagger form before switching it to pistols and back again until it was in it's staff form again. "I can switch between defensive and offensive moves rather quickly, which is my main strength when fighting. I can use my aura to boost my strength and speed to twice my normal ability for a short time, but to do so drains me entirely."
She smiled at the children again, tossing her hair absently as she looked at them all again. "Let's try to keep things organized so we'll start with Ms Angeli and she will choose someone who will follow her and the next person will choose the next and so on until everyone has introduced themselves."
Eva was a bit startled as Chrissy chose her to go first but she nodded, taking a deep breath and pressing a bit closer to Lance to fight off her nervousness. "Yes ma'am," she said, turning slightly so she was facing most of the other students.
"My name is Evangeline Angeli, though I suppose you could call me Eva. I'm a long-range specialist and this is my weapon," she said, shifting Fulmine into her arms. "It's a sniper rifle. I suppose I'm best for accuracy and mobility since I can use my aura to speed myself up for a while so I can run fast. I'm also good at planning, though I'm not that good with forming a plan in an instant. Um. I suppose that's all for me," she said, glancing at Lance. "Why don't you go next Lance?"
