Science Taught by Flora for students of all ages attending Academy ONLY.
Rules:

You may enter TWO Nightmare/Daydreams per stage.
Please note, this class is for academy students ONLY.
Make sure to include all activity instructions in your post along with your response. Failure to do so will render your participation void for growths/graduation.
If the activity has a 'fail' mechanic, you do not need to use the form for a failed roll. You may still put a little rp response to the 'fail', but when you get a 'pass', please use the form!
All in-thread posts should contain a roleplay response. There is no minimum word requirement unless stated otherwise.

Class activities: Please pick the activity that pertains to your characters stage and fill it in by the end date! Thank you! ALL STAGESDeep Freeze Begins: Now Ends: When the activity rolls over (last day of the month). Flora has taken a page out of her son Fredrich's book. Feeling a bit mischevious and to bring some excitement back to the classroom, the imp has has frozen a bunch of lego pieces inside hunks of ice. The teacher has left it up to her student to figure out creative ways to dissolve, melt, or rid the lego pieces of their icy prison and build something with the blocks. The reward? The students get ******** lego when they're done!
While the younger children are not able to handle the chemicals themselves, they can ask a teacher for assistance in handling them.
Rules: Random number generate a number between 1 and 100 to find out how many pieces of lego you were able to free!
Write up a 200 word minimum entry about how your student freed their lego and what they built afterwards, if anything.

 Zino stared down at his test, he sighed. "I thought I did better, I studied so hard with Bina." He put his elbows down on his desk and rested his head on his hands. "I guess I'm just not smart enough"He sighed, fighting the urge to cry. He wanted to get a perfect score to impress his sister, she was always doing well in school "Why can't I be like her?" he thought. He paused and smiled to himself, trying his best to be optimistic about the future. "I'll do better next time!" he cheered himself on, " I know I can do it!" with a smile he put his test in his bag, eager to look it over and see exactly where he went wrong so he could learn from it for next time.

 Bambina, a bald little goblin and bakeneko freshling, peered up from her spot at her desk. It had been piled with books upon books, all of which had to be closed, of course, for the test that the teacher surprised them with. At the mention of a pop test, the young girl could only frown. Her two-toned eyes closed some and they cast a saddened expression. Clearly, she was not expecting to be sprung with this.
"Oh boy..."
Science was her favorite subject, too! Bina would spend hours upon hours in her room, pouring over the books she had checked out from the library. Her twin brother, Zino, would often quirk a brow in surprise at the number of books she had. Why read when you could play? He was always a more friendly, happy sort, compared to her, but that was fine. Bina would stick to her books.
After she finished her exam, the freshling stared down at her paper with a look of dissatisfaction. Her score was not as high as she would have liked -- it was not high at all. But she had managed to pass, and that had to count for something, right? Her brother would be proud of her, but she expected to have done better. Oh, well. Guess she would have to study harder.

 Lyra was confident. She was ready for the test. Plants weren't so hard to understand, though... They weren't the easiest to understand either. But from them there cam medicines and that's what she really wanted to know about. She wanted to figure out their properties and combinations and unlock all of their secrets. The Kirin scrunched up her nose at the test as she read. She breezed through some of the questions, but others seemed a bit iffy. Surely it wasn't as bad as she thought. "I know what I'm doing... I know what I'm doing." She mumbled quietly to herself as she answered the questions.

Cleo stared blankly at the paper, blinking once or twice. How could this be possible? She didn't recognise half the terms and barely managed to fill in a few questions. Cleo prided herself on her expansive knowledge and studying, so why was she struggling so hard with this simple test?
"I must have studied too far ahead of our skill level," she mumbled quietly, trying to justify the blow to her ego.

 Three Dee sat down to take his test, hoping he did well so he could get back to his work on his latest short movie. Dee grumbled when he saw he failed his first try, trying to remember the plant cell part.

Dee sat his tablet aside and tried to get his head on taking the test so he could pass this time.. Dee sighed as he handed in his test and went back to editing his short movie, he couldn't wait till school was over.

 Arch sat down his mind only on his test, he didn't feel ready to face much else. Though his new family was great, Arch was still depressed, he just wanted to do his test and go back to his room. Arch finished his test, handed it in and went back to his dorm room.

 Kara took a deep breath when she saw the paper. She knew she should know most of them, but when the paper was in front of her she suddenly went completely blank. She managed to write a couple of them, but the others? She couldn't understand what was wrong or why she froze up. She guessed it was a good thing she couldn't fail, but still, her parents were going to kill her...

 Miela had felt a bit on the fence about the test. She knew she understood the core concepts of what they would likely be tested on, but specific details had a way of escaping her memory much more easily. She chewed on her lip as she answered the questions on the paper, and though it took her a bit of time compared to others she did finally hand it in to the teacher. All she was hoping for was to pass.
When she got her score back, the little Fallen couldn't help but feel a bit deflated. She'd passed -- her ultimate goal -- but out of 100 the score wasn't that great. She didn't want to try again to get a better score since this was good enough, but she resolved to do even better on the next test. Perhaps she needed to find a study buddy or two...

 Though biology and other natural sciences weren't necessarily his favorite -- he much preferred learning about the stars and things beyond their home -- Nyx felt very confident about the test. He'd done very well all term and had been keeping up with his (admittedly fairly easy) studying schedule, so he felt rather good going into it.
After answering all the questions on the sheet to the best of his ability, the starry Kirin handed it in to the teacher. He waited (mostly) patiently until it was returned to him, peeking at the score anxiously. Even though he usually did fairly well in school, he couldn't help feeling nervous every time. But his worried frown soon morphed into a bright smile when he saw he'd done exceedingly well. Not only had he passed, he'd gotten a true A! His little tail flicked excitedly from side to side as he hopped out of his chair, eager to go and show his test to his siblings and caretaker.

 Okay, so Science definitely wasn't their thing and when they got back their nearly failing score, Malloe nearly blanched. They knew the test was hard, but they didn't think they had done that badly! Their mother definitely wouldn't be happy about the score...
