"Uli!!" The shout came from Iriyana as she sat on the ground not too far from the Inn. She had a stick in one hand and a ball of dirt in the other. "I found a worm!" Despite being a girl she acted like a little boy. She loved doing boyish things. Playing in the dirt, wrestling with her brother or one of the animals, and poking at bugs.
When she turned her head to look toward her twin she grinned. Streaks of dirt were on her face and arms but that didn't seem to bother her. "Think we can scare mommy with it?" A little giggle came out as she thought about using the wiggly insect to surprise her mother. Or her father. Either one worked for her. "Li, can we scare your mommy with it?" There was something else. She could always use it against Eira. If she didn't like the little things, that was.

Uli turned to stare at his sister as he played with Pup. The pure white Janarim was his mothers, but the whelp seemed to have bonded to the child as well. He looked at the pup who looked back to him with what seemed to be some amount of worry. He shook his head calling back to his sister. "You know Mommy wouldn't be scared of that...I saw her show Daddy a similar beast and he freaked out. Better off trying to scare Daddy." He threw the small orb that their Mother used to train Pup, delighted when the beast brought it back.

Li was sitting cross legged on the wide back of his mother's snaptrotter at the moment, hands crossing over his chest as he watched the younger girl as she suddenly presently the group of them with a worm. He starred at it for a moment, then gave a squeak sound as he felt Branko shift under him, the snaptrotter's eyes coming open to watch the girl and the worm that she had. Giving a sigh the boy said, "Branko... it's a small worm, I don't even know if you would taste it so stop starring as though its a snack for you."
Turning his attention back to the female twin he said, "Best to do what your brother said and scare your dad with it. I'd rather my mother not ban you from the inn for trying to scare her with worms." Though given that she had Branko as a pet she supposed that a worm wasn't really something that would scare her, right?
Motioning to the one that was looking after the three of them, guarding them with the help of Branko, he said, "You could always try to scare Gyuri... though I doubt you would get much of a reaction at all." It was something about him that was interesting to Li, the fact that he was so serious most of the time.

Gyuri stood off to the side, leaving the three Zenan children to playing their games, keeping an eye on them. He was off duty from guarding those in the inn but instead of actually taking time off he found himself watching the trio instead. He wanted to make sure that they were kept safe after all. Especially Li since he was Eira's sn. It was important that he was kept safe since he was the heir to this place. At the mention of the worm that Riya found, as well as the one that she aught to scare with it, he lifted an eyebrow. Well, Li seemed to be arguing against scaring Eira, which was a good thing. He'd rather the kids didn't get in trouble for bringing something like that inside. He felt he should keep an eye on Branko as well since currently the beast was watching Riya's hands rather closely, likely willing her to drop the worm.

Well neither one of them was very enthused about her discovery. Iriyana rolled her eyes at them and then gave her attention to the snaptrotter that seemed to be eyeing her hand. Riya paused for a moment then looked at the worm in her hand. After a brief period of thinking she shrugged her shoulders and tossed the wiggly thing at Branko. "Here." Of course she hadn't really considered that the beast might dislodge it's current.. rider? Sitter? Person. Her yellow hued eyes then went to her brother as she commented, "Daddy is weird."
Then she heard Li's suggestion to try and scare Guyri with a worm. Well now she'd just wasted her ammo! Riya gave a longing look after the bug and frowned. However, she was in dirt! Smiling she turned back to what she was doing and started digging with her stick again so she could find a few more of those little buggers. "Your mommy wouldn't really ban me.. would she?" There was a pause in her scraping as she looked up at Li. Apart from her brother and Valek he was her best friend.

The shorter of the twins looked back to Li. "I..don't think Miss Eira is that mean, Riya..." he paused before looking over to Gyrui. "Right?!?" He just wanted to make sure. After all he did enjoy their time in the Inn. Though...he looked to the ground smiling as Pup came back for another run with the ball. He had heard their Mother say something about leaving. He hoped that was wrong. He really liked it here. After a few moments the smaller Zenian shook his head turning to walk over to Li. He patted Branko before looking at his friend. "Need a hand?"

A gasp of surprise escaped from Li's lips as Branko was suddenly moving, taking a couple of hurried steps forward so that he could snap the worm out of the air. The big creature then sat there a moment, moving the worm around in his mouth, as though to prove that he could in fact get a taste before swallowing it down without bothering to chew. Seemingly pleased with the offering he laid back down once more, eyes closing.
Giving a sighing sound Li pushed himself up right on Branko, starring down at his seat for a long moment, "You need to be more careful, Branko! I was sitting on you!" He scolded the big snaptrotter, pushing himself up to his bare feet standing alongside of him before he looked over at Uli and said, "I'm fine, Branko just got too excited over a rather tiny treat." He shook his head then set to smoothing his clothing out, making sure that he wasn't all mussed up. He couldn't allow himself to look a mess or else he wouldn't be a good example of what the heir to the inn should be... or at least what he felt that such a person should be.
At the question about whether or not his mother would ban Riya he decided not to answer since the girl had tried to knock him over into the dirt. Something that would have been awful had he actually gotten all dirty instead of just falling over on Branko's back.

Gyuri gave a bit of a sigh as he looked between the various children that were gathered before he said, "She won't." Best that they knew that Eira wouldn't ban anyone over such a small slight though he was quick to add, "But no bugs in the inn." Best to add that just in case. While he was pretty certain that she wasn't going to ban anyone over a single worm he felt that it was likely best that he said that bugs weren't allowed inside just because it felt like the right thing to say. Once that was dealt with he fell quiet again, looking around the area to make sure that everything appeared safe before his attention went back to the trio again. While the area just outside the inn was safe, and should be fine for the kids to play in, he felt that it was still best for him to keep an eye out. There was no saying that something dangerous might show up in the form of a person or beast that wasn't as friendly as most. He had to be here just in case that happened, to defend the younglings... though he had a feeling that if anyone or anything raised a hand to any of them that Branko would eat the threat. Likely best that he prevented that as well. Branko eating someone was sure to cause people to avoid the inn. Best that Branko was just seen as a playmate for children isntead of something that was actually threatening.

It took her a few seconds to realize what Li was doing and her eyes dropped to the beast he was sitting on then went back to him. At least Iriyana had the courtesy to look apologetic. "Oops. Sorry Li." Then Gyuri said that Eira wouldn't ban her for trying to scare her with a worm but still, no bugs allowed. "Kay!" Though why she seemed happy about that was a mystery. Maybe she was just pleased to know that Li's mommy wouldn't kick her out?
After digging around a bit more she found a few worms and picked them up. Riya then looked at her small twin and best friend. The ice girl left them alone since they might ruin what she wanted to do and got to her feet. She went through the motions, dusting herself off, fixing her shirt, and all without signs of any bugs. Then she made her way over to the bodyguard that was outside with them. Her short curly hair bounced as she hopped a few times then landed in front of Gyuri. "Can we go for a walk?" The inquiry was real, she did want to go for a bit of exploring, but it also served to distract the man from what she intended.

Uli could just see their Mother's anger right now. Looking around he glanced to Branko. "Did you enjoy it?" he smiled at the large beast. Looking to Li the smaller iceling giggled. "Oh...Riya...if we go for a walk we have to tell Mommy." He took out a slip of paper writing to his Mother the way she taught them. "Pup." the Janarim trotted up to him. "Give this to Mommy." With a yip the beast was off. Uli looked back to the other two. "Don't want her to worry."

Li gave the girl a glance, then shrugged as she apologized, "I forgive you." He supposed that it was only right that he did since she did apologize. Not as though she could have known that Branko would go charging forward in such a manner over a measly little worm. He found himself wondering if maybe they should feed him more so that he didn't think that he needed such fiddly little snacks... that or maybe they should find him better snacks? He couldn't say which one he felt was the better option at the moment.
As Riya mentioned a walk he crossed his arms over his chest, head tilting thoughtfully to one side. A walk? Did he really walk to go for a walk? To be fair he could always climb onto Branko's back and have him do all the walking, right? Giving a smile he nodded before crawling up onto Branko's back once more. If they were going to go for a walk then Branko could do all the walking for him, it would make up for the fact that he tried to tip him over. Before they really got to go anywhere though Uli was suddenly saying that if they went for a walk that they had to tell their mother... and he suppose he probably should tell his own too, huh?
Before he could even consider it though Uli was sending a letter along with the white pup back to Miss Eirlys. He starred for a moment before nodding to his friend, "Gonna walk with your sister, Uli, or ride on Branko with me?"

Gyuri watched with mismatched eyes as the janarim pup walked by with a note in its mouth, making him wonder if the little beast was actually going to make it... or was it going to eat the note? Hard to say since it was a pup. He shook his head before turning, walking along with the lot of them. He was going too keep an eye on them, make sure the lot of them didn't get into trouble. He wanted the little ones to remain safe after all. "Stay close to Branko." He called to the trio of children before they were able to even think abut escaping from his sight. The big man moved to joined them, wanting to keep them all safe and near enough to him that he could fend off any dangers that might crop up.

She gave her twin a look. Iriyana was hoping that he would know when she was being sneaky by now. Still, the whole thing worked in her favor since Gyuri was convinced that a walk was what she really wanted. So when he moved to walk she walked beside him. Almost like magic she produced the worms she had collected earlier and did her best to quickly stuff them into the big man's pants.
With a giggle Riya then attached herself to his leg, blocking the path of the worms so they couldn't just be shaken out the bottom. It was obvious she was the troublemaker in the pair of twins. "Got ya!" Came her shout as she clung to Gyuri's limb.

A free ride on the snapptrotter who he was told he could never pet without permission. Offer accepted! Uli climbed gently up behind Li. "The heir should at least get front seat." He watched his sister with a slowly opening jaw. Oh...Chi....why....he then slowly lowered his head into his hand. "Great." He sighed. "Riya!"

Li turned to look at Uli as the younger boy moved to climb onto Branko behind him, then looked toward Riya, about to ask if she wanted to join them... when instead she produced a handful of worms from her pockets and used them to assault poor Gyuri. The man looked quite startled over the 'worm attack' and Li called out, "I really think you're trying to get banned, Riya!" First threatening his mother with a worm, now actually 'attacking' Gyuri with them.
Looking up at Gyuri he called out, "Toss her in the river like you do to the drunks, Gyuri!" It only happened a few times, usually when they were starting trouble outside. It was a perfect way to sober them up. While Riya was in no way drunk she definitely could use a toss in the river! Or at least being threatened to do so, mostly because Li wanted to see how she might react to such a threat. It could be amusing if you asked Li, not that he'd say it out loud since he didn't want to be seen as mean or anything. He just wanted to see how she might react.
He gave Uli a momentary glance, to see what he might do, but it seemed he was sitting still instead of going to help Riya. Likely a good thing he thought to himself, glad at least one of them was being good at the moment.
