As things went on he got to watch as his girlfriend's belly grew larger. Huyana would always grin whenever he looked at her. Not just because he found her beautiful, since that was a given, but because he couldn't wait to see their baby. He wondered all the time if it would be a boy or a girl. Thankfully names had been picked out for either, so there was that. And he'd sent word home to his mother so they had received a package with some things in it. Mostly clothes, blankets and small toys. There was a letter in there as well of his mother threatening to come down but he hoped it was just an empty promise.
Now, the young Ice tribesman made his way over to his Eiri. "How are you feeling today?" She likely got annoyed by him asking her all the time. Huyana seemed to want to know everything and would freak out over the simplest things. Especially if she seemed to be in any kind of discomfort. "Need me to get you anything?"

Eirlys sighed as she felt a small kick to her side. She looked down at her belly thinking that there was way too much movement for one baby. She hummed as she looked up to Huyana. Smiling she reached up to cup his cheek. "Huy, I love you. Calm down." she took his hand to rest against the bump as she felt a roll. "Feel that...I think there's more than one." She was excited.

He nodded when she told him to calm down. He could certainly do that. Huyana smiled at her affectionately and when his hand was moved to her belly he tilted his head and blinked. "More than one? You mean like.. more than one leg or arm, right? Cause that would be normal." The Ice tribesman was worried. If there was more than one baby in there then that would mean more pain for Eiri.
"Nothing to worry about.. right?" His eyes looked up at her.

His worry was truly adorable to her. She nodded. "Yes that's perfectly fine, love. Ah...did you feel that. That was a kick." the little foot pressed against their Father's hand. Eirlys chuckled. "Seems one of them is a pushy little thing even now. Should be fun meeting them." she stroked the belly. "I can't wait to meet you...wither its one or two. Your both going to be loved." She smiled up at Huy. "Is Eira okay with us staying until the little one...or ones are able to handle things on their own."

When he felt the baby kick he dropped his eyes to Eiri's belly and smiled. Huyana had grown used to the movement but it never ceased to amaze him. When he could see the little foot poking out he moved his finger over it trying to tickle his child. "Eira doesn't mind so long as she's getting something out of it." Which meant he'd have to either make another run or work around the Inn to help out. Or if he really felt like it, he could send a note to his father. "I'll take care of it Eiri." He wasn't going to let anything happen to her or the baby.

Eirlys smiled at him. Truly this male was a rare find. "How did I get so lucky?" she mused quietly. At that moment Pup decided that they needed to focus on him as he popped into view. Eirlys letting out a squeak before laughing. "Down you..." Once the small beast had dropped to the ground. The female shook her head. "I could train a few more beasts to help guard the Inn if Gyuri wanted some extra eyes." she mused.

"Well I'm sure Eira would appreciate having some beasts trained for her son." Huyana chuckled at the pup and reached down to pick him up so he could get attention. After a few minutes he set the beast back down then leaned close to Eirlys so that he could kiss her cheek. "Mm, I'll see about getting more furs for her." At least that would give them some time.
Afterward he'd likely have to go on a run so that he could sell and trade goods. "Do you think we have enough time for me to make the trip to Zena and back before the baby is born?" Huy was still in denial that there could be more than one in there. "I can grab more goods while I'm up there as well as coin." It would solve a few worries.

Eirlys sat there with a soft smile. "How did I get so lucky?" she asked out loud. Shaking her head when she realized that she spoke that thought out loud. Reaching out she pulled the male to her side. "I love you, Huyana." She hummed as she thought about it. "A trip to Zena sounds like fun. The baby isn't due for a few more months...perhaps they'll wait a little longer before they come." She sorta dreaded the return trip. "Lets...not tell my Mothers...my last letter to them mentioned the pregnancy...but their reply didn't make me feel hopeful. Mama was excited...Mother seemed...hesitant."

When he was pulled toward her he gave her a grin and kissed her jawline gently with a series of simple pecks. "You already know I love you, Eiri."
Then she mentioned something that sounded like she was planning to travel with him. Huyana pulled away from her to give her a once over, worry yet again etched on his face. "Are you sure you can travel? I don't want you to be uncomfortable or for something to happen." What would he do if there was an accident? He was no healer. His hands went to her belly protectively. "I would love to travel with you both but not if it means risking either of you."

Eirlys looked up at him. A few fears in the back of her mind prickling her spine. What if one of his old flames caught his eye again? What if he got hurt by that suitor she turned down? She made a concerned face before holding the other male close. "Okay...I'll stay here." She smiled up at the male. "Just come back to me..."

He noticed her concerned look and was instantly confused by it. What was she so worried about? Huyana made sure to keep his arms around her gently and lean his head against hers. "I'm not running away, Eiri. I just couldn't forgive myself if something happened to you or our baby." And that was the truth of it really. His worries were that if something did happen it would be his fault some how. Huy would hate himself if that were to ever happen.
"A quick run there to sell the rest of my wares then back down to you." He reassured her.

She smiled as she kissed his cheek, putting his hands on her belly as the baby kicked. "I trust you, love. Alright. I'll stay here at the Inn." she chuckled as the baby kicked again. "We'll be waiting for you." She hummed a bit. "So. Did you need any help getting ready?"

The Ice man couldn't help but grin at her. "Well I would hope so! Where else would my lovely Eiri be?" Huyana chuckled and returned her kiss. The small but simple signs of affection drew him in like a bee to honey. His hand on her belly as the baby kicked had him looking at the adorable bump. "Yes, little one, I will be excited to see you too." He cooed.
When Eirlys asked if he needed help packing his first thought was to say no and tell her to stay put so that she could rest, however, he knew that she only wanted to help. Not wanting her to feel like she couldn't do anything he grinned at her instead. "I could use a little help, Beautiful. I need an expert to look at my beasts and tell me they can travel." Surely she could do that without exerting her self too much, right? Huy gave her a wink of encouragement.

Eirlys smiled as she got up to walk slowly towards the beasts. Pup was bounding at her side, she knew he'd get bigger soon but hopefully he'd grow alongside the baby. She would be excited to see that. As she came up to the caravan animals she chuckled as a few greeted her warmly. She couldn't bend over to look them over but they were willing to comply with her subtle commands. She rubbed the Roati's back as the small fluffy creature nuzzled her. She looked back to her beloved. "Well, its seems like everyone is ready to go." She straightened herself, feeling off as she held the baby bump. "Mmmm...well...help me sit down love?"

He watched her as she inspected the animals. Huyana was like a hawk in the way he kept his eyes on her. While he was worried about his caravan animals being ready to go he was more concerned with the health of his woman and the child she carried. So when she held her stomach and asked for help sitting down he was right there with his hands supporting her. "Here we go.." Huy eased her into a chair and stared at her.
"Should I leave Valek with you while I go to Zena?" At least that way she would have someone around to help her out. It would take the extra help from him but he could manage. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
