Drexl took deep breaths. He could do this. He could do this...crap-baskets he couldn't do this. The tall lanky male nearly crumbled on himself as he twisted his body in his momentary insecurity. He sank to the ground and took deeper breaths. He really could do this. This wasn't anything big...just asking Jerami if he could hang out for the day. Alone. With him...
Alone.
He gulped. Jerami's mothers were going to kill him. Thankfully he had sent a small note for Jerami to meet him at a tree not too far from the gentle male's home. Drexl peeked around the tree to see if Jerami was drawing near.

Jerami had found the note that was sent to him from Drexl, reading it again. He wanted to meet up to hang out for a while, just the two of them. It was something that he was more then willing to agree to... only he couldn't quite go alone. It wasn't that he didn't want to but because Bruin followed him everywhere. Turning to look over at the fluffed up, sqwaking kinfa, which caused him to give a little laugh, "Yes, yes, you can come with me, Bruin. I am sure that Drexl will be alright with you since it was just the two of us joining him." He said, reaching down to pet the feathers on the top of his head. "You're getting bigger, aren't you? Pretty soon I bet you will be big enough to ride! I can't wait!" It would be so much fun... if a little scary. He would have to build up all of his courage and then some before he could even think about riding on the kinfa, but it could be fun. Well, with time it could be fun that was, once he actually got up the courage to do something so scary and dangerous and amazing. Once he was sure that Bruin was following him he smiled, "Come on, let's go find Drexl." He turned on his heel and started toward where he was supposed to meet with his good friend, his pretty blue dress swishing around him as he went. It was one that he was quite proud of, having picked it out himself while out shopping and even made a few adjustments so that it would fit him better. Brushing a hand against the cloth he found himself wondering if Drexl would like it, a thought that caused his cheeks to color a bit before he quickened his steps, "Come on, Bruin! We don't want to be late." He said, trying to get his mind off the thoughts.

Drexl chuckled when he heard the little kinfa at its masters side. Stepping out he blinked. "Wow...that looks amazing on you Jerami." He smiled wide as he spoke, pulling out the green feather. "I...uhm...I found this not too long ago. I thought it suited you..." he blushed as he held it out for the other to take. Jearmi was stunning to him, though he was terrified of delving deeper into his emotions than that he liked being around the other. Drexl pulled out a few treats he learned the Kinfa liked. "And here you are..."

Jerami turned to look at Drexl, his antennae giving a twitch, his cheeks coloring a little bit, "Ahh... thank you." He said, feeling quite happy over the fact that Drexl thought that his dress looked amazing. It meant that he'd done well in adjusting the dress that he was wearing currently. His attention then turned to the pretty feather that Drexl was offering him, reaching out to take it, "Wow! What a pretty color." After looking it over closely he gave his good friend a smile, "It's amazing, thank you, Drexl." He nodded before lifting it up, tucking it into his two toned hair, before he looked at Drexl once more, "Aww, look at that, Bruin, he got you something too!" He nudged the Kinfa gently, getting him to step forward to inspect what it was that Drexl was offering. After a moment of starring the brown kinfa was quick to snatch up the treats in his beak before backing up, once there he tilted his head back, swallowing it down. Laughing a bit Jerami said, "He looks pleased. Thank you, Drexl, it was very nice of you to treat him as well."

Drexl stood. "Of course, Bruin is the cherished partner to a cherished friend." he offered his arm. "Come on, I wanted to show you this place I found. Its...sorta far but that just means its worth it." Drexl had found it by accident. He was looking for a more challenging place to set up a bigger training ground, with his parent's permission of course. When he found it the male instantly noted his location on the map of the area his Father's had made a while back. There were some changes to it as Drexl had started to explore and found the changes on his own, but he always shared them with his family when he got home. He marked this as one of his meditation spots, deciding to bring Jerami here. It took him a few minutes. As he had led Jerami to their current training ground. "You know this place already. I just wanted to show you where I got that feather." he pointed to the top of one of the trees. "All the way up there. Did you wanna see up close? Or save that?" The current training ground was on the path he took to find this special place. He had made up his mind to take Jerami down the same path, though he had found several paths leading to that spot.

It was sort of far? Jerami thought about it for a moment, his antennae giving a little twitch. It should be alright for him to go, right? Things seemed to be peaceful at the moment after all, nobody really causing trouble that he'd noticed at least, and so long as they didn't run into any grumpy beasts then it should be alright. He gave a slow nod of his head, "Yeah, alright. I think that it should be alright for me to go so long as we are careful as we go." He said, stepping in closer to his good friend so that he could take hold of his hand. So long as he was able to hold onto Drexl he felt that he could be brave, even if they were heading to a new place, just the two of them and Bruin, somewhere 'sort of far'. It should be alright though, he believed in Drexl. Giving Drexl's hand a squeeze he moved to match his pace to the much taller boy, feeling that matching his pace would definitely be a good way to stay in shape. It took a little time before they made it to some trees and Jerami lifted his aqua eyes to look up at where Drexl was pointing, "Hm? Wow, there were kinfa feathers here? I didn't think they lived in Jauhar. Were they pets like Bruin?" He asked in a curious manner. As Drexl asked about if he wanted to see up close he looked down at his dress, seeming to debate it for a moment, then flushed, "Ah! Sure... but you have to climb up first." He said before looking from side to side, making sure that nobody else save for the two of them and Bruin were about. The last thing he wanted was anyone to look up his dress while he was climbing a tree. It would be rather embarrassing after all and not something he wanted to see happen. He'd just climb up second and climb down first and it should be fine.

Drexl blinked then shook his head. "No. What if you fall? I wouldn't be able to handle your mothers...nor my own guilt. How about you cling to my back?" he shifted to show his bare back. "I don't have anything there. It'd be easy." He smiled. "Come on."

Jerami blinked a couple times, his cheeks coloring a little, before he said, "I... I don't know... I mean... I'm in... dress and..." He shook his head, hands clinging onto the soft cloth of what he wore. To be able to cling to his back meant hiking up what he was wearing so that he could cling to Drexl's back, something that wouldn't exactly work out since he wasn't wearing any shorts under his dress. He wondered if he should start doing just that. The only downside to the option was it would likely show through under his dress, making it look bad. Leggings, perhaps? It would have to wait until next time though as he didn't have any on hand. Which meant a shopping trip in his future. He gave a thoughtful sound before he motioned to Drexl, "I can follow along after you, I will take the exact path that you do, so you don't have to worry about me." He told his friend in a reassuring manner, giving his hand a squeeze.

Drexl blinked a few times, ah...if Jerami was like this then that meant---Oh. Drexl blushed a little nodding. Jerami most likely didn't have shorts on underneath that outfit okay then. He looked up picking the best path to the top. Nodding he looked back to the other. Mentally telling himself to bring leggings with him next time. He nodded. "Alright. Follow my footing exactly." He started up the tree slow. Knowing what branch would be strong enough for them both was a little up there. He reached it with little difficulty, turning to instantly hold out a hand. "Grab my hand. I'll pull you up."

Jerami gave a smile, glad that Drexl seemed to understand. He'd be sure to be better prepare the next time that Drexl wanted to bring him somewhere. It was hard to say where they might go when it was a surprise adventure hosted by someone else after all. As his friend said that he had to follow his footing 'exactly' he nodded, finding Drexl to be far too cute and careful when it came to him. He could only hope that it wasn't just because he didn't want to get in trouble with Jerami's parents... though that in and of itself was a really, really good reason. Moving to follow after Drexl he was careful to do just what he said that he would, following Drexl's lead, making sure to do everything that he did. He didn't want to risk falling and he was sure that Drexl knew the best way up into these specific trees. From what he'd heard Drexl often raced Lixes up these very trees, meaning that he had to know all the best ways up so he could win the races. Once he reached the top he reached out, taking his hand, and found himself easily pulled up to stand on the branch next to Drexl, "Wow! You're really strong already, aren't you Drexl?" He murmured, sounding quite impressed. Settling down on the branch next to his friend so that he would risk anyone down below looking up the dress he wore he gave Drexl a smile he said, "Next time, even if it's a surprise, let me know if I will need anything specific, alright? Having to pass on a radaku back ride from you was the worst thing ever! I bet it would have been fun." Hopefully he'd have a chance to take him up on the offer another day.

Drexl sat on the branch next to Jerami, shifting so that he had a arm around the smaller male. Making sure he was safely on the tree. Drexl looked up and pointed to where he found the feathers. "They were right there." he smiled happily. "If I find more like them I'll be sure to get them for you." He blushed lightly. "A-ah...That---that wouldn't of been a big deal. Though...if you really wanted a ride one day. I wouldn't mind carrying you around." He smiled at the hybrid next to him. He really enjoyed being around Jerami. His idea to take this little detour was worth it. "When you wanna get down, I'll carry you then...not on my back. I know how to get down with someone clinging to my front." It was something he had to do with a small child once. Same basics here...right?

Jerami gave a smile, leaning against his friend, and followed the pointing with his eyes to where it was that his friend had found the kinfa feathers. Not too far from where they were sitting at the moment, though sadly there was no sign of any more feathers or the kinfa that had left them behind. At least at the moment. He supposed it made sense, they might be with their owners at the moment or they had flown off before Drexl and himself had arrived. It was too bad since, given the colors of the feathers, he'd of like to have seen them. Might be for the best though, Bruin seemed to get a bit jealous at times of kinfa with feather flashier then what he had himself. "Hm? Ah! W-Well it doesn't have to be today! It can wait until I am better dressed for such a thing. Once I am I will definitely take you up on the offer, Drexl. It will be nice to pretend to be so tall! It seems I didn't inherit my Alkidike mother's side, sadly enough." Giving a smile, his antennae bouncing, he said, "I can get carried on your back and fake it though." It was the next best thing! Glancing down for a moment toward the ground where Bruin was pacing around, then back to Drexl, he said, "Naw, I will be alright climbing down... though I will be going first this time. No peeking." He wink at his friend before leaning against him once more, looking out over the view while enjoying his Drexl pillow.

Drexl chuckled. "My brothers and I always relax up here after training." he looked up hoping that wherever his twin elder brothers were, they were happy...even just a little. Glancing to the hybrid curled into his side Drexl could only smile. This was apart of his goal, to have Jerami close to him if only for a moment. He watched the sky for a bit before shifting. "Alright...shall we go back down? This is only stop one. There's a few more before we get to where I wanna take you." He really hoped Jerami enjoyed this little adventure.

Turning to look at his friend he gave a smile, "The view is really wonderful, so I understand why you like to sit up here with your brothers." He said, lookng out over everything before he moved to climb to his feet, "Yeah, let's get going. I am curious to see what else you have up your sleeve after all." He knew that this was but the first part of the trip after all, making him quite curious as to what else they would be doing today. He supposed he wouldn't know until he got there. "Alright, remember, I am going down first!" Jerami said, giving Drexl a little nudge before he started to make his way down the tree, making sure to do so in a careful manner. He didn't want to stress his friend out, meaning that he had to take all precautions until the moment that his feet touched the ground. Once he made it he stepped back away from the base of the tree Jerami brushed himself off of any dirt that was clinging to him, reaching out to pat Bruin on the head, "Thank you for waiting for us, Bruin." With that he turned his attention to his friend, waiting for Drexl to join them on the ground.

Seeing no real need to take his time going down as going up was to show Jerami a safe path. Drexl showed off a bit in his descant. Landing he smiled offering the other his arm again. "There's still more to see Jerami." The next stop was one he was hoping their little friend would enjoy as he led them into the forest. Making sure Jerami was safely tucked into his side in case the other felt a bit uneasy. He came up to a small glade. "I figured Burin would enjoy this stop. I found a wild berry patch here. This is where I've been getting all those berries from."
