So if you didn't know, we will soon have the VR (Virtual Reality) Head sets. Well we do have them already and they have been sold for years now. Mostly for... Hentai stuff... Anyways, I like that fact we are moving in the gaming world but it's kinda scary to think a lot of our games will be on a headset and not on a screen that everyone that see. Making that distance between Digital and reality, you know?
Maybe I'm just over thinking it because I know you have the choice to get a VR Headset. I'm worried about later on in life. If they just make VR and that's it. So you HAVE to have a head set or you can't enjoy or play games anymore.
What do you think? I would really like to know. ^^

It'll suck for those who have a hard time separating reality from gaming. I have a sister who already has trouble with hiDef gaming, because she'll see the game superimposed on the real world and freak out at times thanks to a mental disorder. So hopefully they'll continue to make alternatives to VR headsets.
If not, well. There's plenty of people perfectly happy to play retro consoles out there : )
But me, personally? I'm stoked. Been waiting for this since the days of .hack//, tbh.

i want one!!! i love 3d stuff and VR!!! I don't think the screen will go away. not everybody likes 3d (and in my experience, vr headsets are in 3d), and VR can be very disorienting at first. it's not for everyone. the screen is more relaxing and easier on the eyes. i love both!!! I'd hope they'd be compatible with controllers, though. I don't wanna worry about hitting stuff, and although the motion controls used with the oculus are cool, I'd like to be able to sit on the couch and play a game instead of having to reach for things while people stare without me knowing... sweatdrop

I try some horror games for the VR and there were fun especially watching my mom and sister getting all scare rofl
