(( Continued from here)) Dyakida rested, idly, in her stall. She wasn't there to sell, exactly. She was waiting for material traders. They were supposed to drop by, eventually, with a choice selection of goods for her craft. In the meantime, though, she had had a few customers. Some came for the weapons – her specialty. Fine swords, daggers, spears, bows, arrows, and a few other things lined her shelves and counter. Others came for the cute little carved toys she made, practice for weapon crafting, turned to a more pieceful end. It amused her that other customers had bought the little, circular, coin-like painted stone disks – the failed runestones, turned to trinkets. Why they bought them, Dyakida had no idea, but she'd gotten some very good prices for them thus far. For now, though, she was free, and she listened to the market around her... Neued wasn't as terrifying as she had thought it would be...

DraconicFeline I'd forgotten this one! Sorry about that ^^; Senja was out int he market for a knife. She didn't want one.. not really.. but life had taught her that she needed to be prepared for the worst when traveling. If she'd been more prepared she might not have gotten caught in the blizzard in Zena's mountains. If she'd been prepared she wouldn't have fallen from Shilea at the end of Neued's battle and been captured... So she wanted to be prepared this time when she left home yet again to travel. And that meant a weapon! She'd make Zimbasi teach her how to use it later... But she didn't want some icky knife.. Senja was very fashion contentious and wanted something cute and matching her outfits.. which were mostly in shades of blue. She paused near the stall where an Alkidike was sitting. Alkidikes weren't rare in Neued, but they weren't too common either. I wonder if she has anything blue and cute? She thought as she walked up and smiled; "Good morning!"

The customer's voice was melodic and carried an accent that Dyakida could place - Jahuaran. An Earthling, or a hybrid raised with their Shifter parent. Either or, and Dyakida had learned not to assume anything when shifters and shifter hybrids were involved. At least, not from their voice. "Hello!" she greeted. They weren't the people she was to meet today - she knew their voices, and they came as a group - but Dyakida didn't mind waiting a little longer. "Anything catch your eye?" she asked, smiling invitingly and gesturing towards her wares with a nimble hand, "I have a wide variety of weapons and items, so take your time."

"Mostly just looking for a knife... do you happen to have any with blue crystals?" She asked as she leaned over to look at the wares. They weren't as heavily decorated as she liked.. but Zimbasi had told her a good weapon didn't have to look good; it just needed to be well made. "Did you make these or are you simply selling wares for the weapons crafters?" She asked curiously. While she lived in Juahur all her life, she'd lived in the area where Alkidikes did not have a huge presence. At least not till recently so she didn't actually know how to recognize a crafter from a merchant of them... Especially since they all seemed like warriors! "I'm Senja by the way!" She offered a hand with a wide smile. Always chat up the merchants! It often got you discounts.

"I crafted these - all of these - myself." she explained, as she felt the packages that she had stowed. She'd brought extra wares as trade items for her suppliers, but selling them would not go amiss. "My name is Dyakida - weaponcrafter of my tribe. It is a pleasure to meet you, Senja. Are you from Jahuar?" Ah, here it was, a package full of spare daggers for sale. She was sure that at least one of them had blue crystals involved in it somewhere, either in the blade or embedded in the handle. Probably a few of the ones on display, too. Dyakida brought out the stowed package, "Crystal blade, bone blade, stone blade, or metal blade?" she asked briskly, her hand hovering over the tie, "Any particular length of blade?" She smiled, "I have many types of knives. they are always useful, and always in demand. I assume this is for defense, not for cooking?" Not that there wasn't overlap between the two.

DraconicFeline slowly but surely I am tagging all the things! "From Neued, born and raised!" Senja said as she pulled her hand back; the alkidike with her odd pale eyes hadn't noticed it... is she blind? "Hmmmm... Crystal blade." Senja decided as she looked into the box. Crystal looked prettier! Though the sheen of the metals were attractive... "I'm thinking a knife for more utility uses.. though one that can be used to defend myself if I need it." She hummed and shrugged. "Not sure how long it'd need to be for that!" Her eyes glinted as she spotted a pretty blue shimmer from the box. Reaching in she pulled it out and offered it hilt wards to Dyakida. "Is this one long enough for my purposes? I do love the color!"

So, very likely a Shifter. Or a very young Oban or Matorian, but Senja sounded over. She reached forward. "May I see?" her hands found the hilt, and she felt the dagger. "Hmm, this one... I'd say something a little broader and longer." she gestured the dimensions with her fingers, "That will give you flexibility, but also the strength and durability that you would need." She had no idea about the color, though she was sure she had multiples of most of the colors, save for the rarer ones. "A serrated edge on part of it will make it even better... I believe that..." she touched the hilts of the weapons in the box gingerly until she felt one she recognized. "Something like this..." she touched the blade briefly - yes. This was what she meant. "Will suit such a general purpose."One of the Alkidike that accompanied Dyakida watched the exchange silently, in case her eyes were needed.

DraconicFeline I feel like a bad rp partner oAo Senja listened intently as the alkidike explained. That made sense. The one offered didn't have the same light blue look she liked, but since it was what was recommended Senja put aside her fashion sense and took what was useful. "That's very useful to know, thank you." She chirped. "How much do you charge for them?" Hopefully not too much... she knew she had some other items she needed to buy,

robot kitten <3 You got me into Larping so i forgive you "Hmm..." Dyakida listed a price, in metal coin or shells. "... but I am looking for accessories - hair ornaments, beads, small charms... things like that." She fussed with the assortment of knives, pulling out a few more blades of a similar style. "I think I have an assortment of colors here, since that was what drew you to the other blade."

Senja's eyes sparked; trade for some jewelry? Well that she had in plenty! "I have some shelled barrettes with crystalline beads dangling from it. The shells have a design of a moon above the waves painted upon them." She added as she pulled out a small box with some accessories in them. She held them out as her eyes snagged a slightly darker blue crystalline blade that the shop keeper had pulled out. "And that one has the colors I like!" She chirped happily. "So barrette for half the cost and coins for the rest?"

Shelled barettes with beads... that sounded lovely, either for herself or for a gift if it didn't suit her. She took the box and felt through the selection - yes, these felt as beautiful as they were described. "That seems like a good deal." she said, handing the box back, "I've been told that my best colors," she said with a smile, "Are blues, reds, or yellows. By different people, of course."
