It was bound to happen eventually.

With rumors of great beasts roaming the shores of Yael, many mainlanders flocked across the sea to capture the exotic beasts. In no time at all, they returned with large scaled monsters, dangerously translucent serpents, and turtles that carried the earth. These traders traveled across the Mainland to parade the beasts, going from Matori to Zena and everywhere between. Soon enough, everyone had either seen the Yaeli beasts or at least heard of them.

And they were sure to hear about the beasts when they escaped.

With such little knowledge of the foreign creatures, the traders underestimated the animals. In no time at all, the Yaeli beasts escaped into the wilderness and ended up near your location. With new creatures all but knocking on your door, what do you do? Do you dare to try and tame them, or do you run them off back into the wilderness? You better hurry, because these creatures are lost and scared, and are sure to cause some damage before they are captured once more....

|| The Yaeli familiars have been spotted in the following locations: Tintural (Oba and Matori), Keldari (Jauhar/Chibale and Tale), Limbara (Sauti and Zena). Only individuals in set locations can encounter the specific familiars.

|| If you are located in Yael, respond to this prompt as if you witnessing a mainlander abducting one of the newly announced familiars. Do you step in or run away? Use the same rolls below, but instead of subduing the beast, you are rolling to test your success for freeing it.


This prompt will be resolved by each player rolling 1D100 to test their success. (You can only roll once - there are no reattempts!)

[Whelp, Kyrian's fear of snake is about to showcase full force here.]

Kyrian was walking through the forest. It had been weeks since he last heard from Rham. After getting seperated from the other some time ago, he managed to get a letter that was sent back to the last Inn they had stayed at together. Thank the spirits for that luck. Though the way the letter was worded. Kyrian felt all hope at seeing Rham again drain from his soul. The male was going on about the friends he made...but not where he was. Sighing yet again. Kyrian had felt the music leave him as well.

He hadn't played his flute since that letter. So, for now he had gotten a crash course in fending for himself. He didn't go bandit, just...figured out ways around it. He let his gloved hand flutter along the flute sitting on his hip.

Kyrian blinked as he heard a female's voice up ahead. He had heard of the occasional bandit troupe that stalked the forest floor...or canopy. Though...this sounded like a female in need of help. His mother taught him to always respect someone in need. He quickened his pace a little. His mind also recalling the new beasts that were lurking around the forest now. He let out a small concerned noise before turning around the path. Seeing a...Oban?!? He blinked. While it wasn't his first time seeing one. Seeing a female....alone....oh that was not something he liked.

He walked up a little. "Did you need some help?"

He didn't notice the serpent either.

Kyrian smiled gently before walking closer. "Its nice to meet you. I'm Kyrian. Bard in training." after introducing himself he leaned down to move the branch for her. Being a tad older, male and more accustomed to doing things like heavy lifting. He had some muscle on his slender arms. As he tossed the branch into the forest he too picked up on the rattle. He blinked slowly. Wait...according to one merchant...didn't one of the creatures...

...Have...

...a...

...Rattle?

He looked down to see the--- "HOLY SPIRITS OF WIND!!!!!!!" he shrieked like a girl and backpedaled.

Kyrian held her while backing up. The sight comical to any outsiders that was sure. "I-I-I don't know..." He said trembling as he backed up. Feeling a fallen log behind him he managed to shuffle on top of it. He watched the creature down below. Oh this was not good...this thing was....just creepy.

Kyrian took a few deep breathes while he looked around for a stick or something to keep it at bay. Then the bard blinked as he saw that the thing was...swaying? He glanced down to the female. She was wearing coins...the male got a idea.

"Kalliope...your skirt...the coins....I think your hypnotizing it!"

It did indeed seem to work. The snake swayed with the movements slowing to watch. Kyrian meanwhile was looking around for a clear escape. He spotted the clear path and looked at Kalli. "The path on our right is open. Ready to run?"

Kyrian looked at the female, seeing her fear was just as great as his the male decided to pull her along. Gently one tug towards their getaway, then another..till the male had started to rush them both out of there. He looked at the girl. "Lets go!! Come on!!!"
