The female landed in the soft snow. Her boots making little sound as she walked in her village. She looked around for her recent companion. She heard he went out of Zena...her mind wandered if he found that "perfect partner" yet. As further wanderings caused her to flush in some childish jealousy and envy of the unknown person she shook her head to clear her mind of it. It would do her no good to keep thinking on it. Right now she heard talk of large moving rocks...her mother said it was one of those monsters from the island. She shivered in excitement at the thought of seeing one...

Huyana yawned as he finally made his way into his home village. It had taken him longer than usual but he had a good reason. He'd spent some time with a girl. That was as good a reason as any for him. As he stretched out his arms he caught sight of a familiar figure and grinned.
Moving toward Eirlys he took in her body language. It appeared that she was looking for something or trying to figure out a way to go. Huy became interested then. So he approached her at a lazy pace. "Now there is a beautiful face I missed seeing." Of course he'd use his usual smooth talk to gain her attention.

Eirlys blinked as the voice glided over her ears. She smiled softly before looking back to him. She made it seem like she wasn't noticing him till she heard the male get closer. Smiling she turned and threw her arms around his neck. Hugging him close for a few moments. "Welcome home." She pulled away a little to look up at him. "Did you hear about the new beasts roaming around here? Mother says to avoid them for the time being. That's not happening. I wanna see one at least." she sounded breathless...excited. She also was in her usual skirted corset and cape.

He chuckled when she threw her arms around him. "Miss me?" Instantly his arms wrapped around her and he lifted her off the ground so that he could give her a twirl. Huyana had to admit he rather liked the feel of her body against his, so when he set her down and she pulled away he wanted to pout. "I heard there were some strange things lurking around but nothing more than that."
So now that he knew they were beasts he could understand her body language. Huyana grinned at Eirlys and shook his head before he motioned for her to lead the way. "What's a welcome home without a little adventure. Let's see what these things look like." Could he really tell her to listen to her mother? No, it would take the smile from her face or grant him a slap on the arm.

She enjoyed the twirl. Chuckling as she landed the slender female's eyes were bright. This was a more childish side that not many got to see as she kept it pretty bottled up. Only when she was allowed to pursue a beast did she let it show. The female smiled openly at the male. Taking his hand she led the way to where one of those 'moving rocks' had been spotted. She spoke softly telling him all she knew so far. "Mother hasn't really looked into getting one for their sheer size. From what she's told me however...their bigger than Janarim in some cases. They seem to like warm places so...the odds of one adapting here is slim. Most likely it would of needed to be born here...or it goes into the mountain. My bet is on a few of them going there if they escape the merchants." she looked back at him. "I don't know anything beyond that."

He let her drag him along. Huyana liked this side of her. It was cute. "Bigger than that..? Oh my." He had seen one of those Janarim she spoke of. Intimidating things. Not only because of their size but because of the way they looked. "I trust my gorgeous tamer will keep me safe?" He teased at her.
Of course he was somewhat serious. Huy didn't know how to handle beasts. He couldn't charm them they way he could people. "You will learn more soon, I gather." His Eiri was rather set on learning everything she could about animals, and these new ones were no exception.

Eirlys nodded. "Yeah. Bigger." she looked around for a moment as if to judge their best option for a path. Blinking she picked up on the seriousness in his tone. She smiled. "Huy....always." Leaning up to give the other a chaste peck on his cheek. The female then looked around seeing a new track she didn't see before by a fallen log a yard away. She smiled. "Got you. Come on, Huy this way." she started to lead him down the snow covered path.

Haha! He was making some headway at least. He managed to get a peck on the cheek without asking. When He watched her he noticed how she seemed to zero in on details he would have otherwise over looked. She never ceased to amaze him at times. Following along he did his best to see what she saw. The tracks looked like any other tracks in the snow to him, though slightly bigger than most. "Are you sure these are the right tracks?" It wasn't that he doubted her, just that he didn't understand how she could tell the difference.

Eirlys smiled as she pulled him closer. Kneeling she ghost her fingertips around it. "The Limbarra have a distinct foot shape compared to most around here. While most could and might confuse it with a Mammu. Four close toes together...the Limbarra have a wider pad. Easier to climb rocks from the looks of it." Closer to the end she sounded more thoughtful. She then looked back up at him. "Yeah...these guys are huge..I hear Mother say their in the Mount Class."

He might not know much about beasts, but he knew what the mount class was. So he let out a low whistle when she said that these creatures were in it. "Makes you wonder about them." Of course she would wonder about them a lot more than he would. Huyana gave more thought to products they could produce.
As Eirlys did her thing he was busy looking around. So far he'd not seen anything remarkable. Just a big rock. Since he didn't remember it being there before he thought it must have come down from the mountain. "Hey, was there a rock slide while I was away?" He asked idly.

Eirlys blinked as she slowly stood. "No..." looking around she then glanced to the male. "Why do you ask?" She knew from rumors and her Mother that Limbarra were moving rocks. Did Huyana see something? She looked around before backing into his side. She was both excited and nervous. If anything went wrong...she wasn't sure of her skills just yet. She hadn't been allowed a whip yet.

"You sure?" Huyana eyed her a little as she got closer to him. Then he nodded toward the rock and started toward it. "Last I checked we didn't have boulders this close to the village." He was perfectly oblivious to the fact that the rock he thought had come from a landslide was actually one of the beasts that Eirlys was hunting.
"There isn't much snow on it either. So it had to be recent." Unless some kids were playing on it before the elders decided to move it. Huyana shrugged his shoulders slightly.

Eirlys blinked a few times before she crossed her arms. A pleasant distraction for the male that was for sure. She cocked a hip while slightly narrowing her eyes. "...Huy...I don't think..." she trailed off after seeing the head move. "HUYANA THAT'S NOT A ROCK!!!" she nearly screamed. The female started forward.

He looked back at her and grinned as he saw her arms crossed and hip popped. It was one of his favorite stances from his sassy Eiri. But when she yelled at him he stopped and blinked before he turned to look at the rock. How was it not ... a... roc--- Before he could complete the thought the thing moved and headed right for him. Apparently the rock was threatened by him being there. "What the --?" And just like that he was knocked over by the creature. "Ah!" Being bashed into had hurt and the landing even more so, but he rolled and quickly looked toward Eirlys. "Eiri!!" Huy was worried she'd get knocked over too.
