Unfortunately it's broken as f**k at the moment and unplayable, hopefully the programmers fix it soon.

But yeah, it's the PS3 version of the game so it has the additional content and whatnot.

I saw a notification pop up about a patch a couple of days ago? Is it more playable by now? And how broken, though? I mean, what kind of stuff would happen? Just immediate crashes? O:

In any case, I'm gonna have to wait for sales. But I'm glad I'll be able to play for that additional content...eventually! lol

There were some bugs and crashed and if you had AVG as your comp security it would show up as a false positive because of the DRM (which is their way to keep people from pirating the game)

But yeah it's playable now, I'm currently at Balacruf Mausoleum in the game. 3nodding

and wait you have steam? whats your screen name i'll add you! whee

Will do.

Anyway, it's a shame that they Batman: Arkham Knighted the PC release. Hopefully they patch it well, because this could be just what the series needs to get even more fans, which means more stuff!

It's really upsetting how publishers are releasing games before they're ready. It is becoming a more common problem too. sad

Question for those of you who are playing it: Are you playing with a controller or a keyboard?

Now that I have a computer with the capacity to run it, I could pretty much pick it up when I have spare money. But I'd like to know how tolerable it is to play with a keyboard. But if that sucks I'd like to see some recommendations for PC controllers, or console controllers that are compatible with PCs. emotion_c8

I'm playing on keyboard, I had to make some adjustments for what i wanted to be at what button, but it was a minor annoyance (mainly because I was used to Zestiria's controls on the keyboard)

I don't have ToS on Steam but when I need a controller I use an Xbox 360 one [you need a receiver to use it with a PC though]

I'm playing right now on my PS3. I'm not really sure what Steam is. I thought it was a place to download PC games. Does that mean you can play tales on your laptop? Cause that might be handle when traveling...

Steam is indeed a PC game distribution platform. It's pretty good (especially with those shiny sales).

Tales of Symphonia is available on Steam (and thus PC), but you would have to buy it separately, and your progress would (as far as I can tell) not carry over.
