"Ahh... wow... Xarnith this is just so... amazing!" Bisera squeaked out as he looked into the cave that the two of them had stumbled across. They were nearing the border between Tale and Oba, yet another place that he'd never been before, on the rather long trip toward Matori. The camp had been set up and the two of them had gone on a walk together, Bisera's eyes scanning the ground for anything interesting, and it was during their walk that they ended up where they were now. An accidental discovery but an amazing one never the less, "This is just... wow." Turning to look over his shoulder at his friend he asked in a curious manner, "Are we going to go inside? Is it safe to do so?" What if there were some sort of dangerous beasts within the cave? It should be something they figured out before going in... at least that was what Bisera was thinking until he saw something glittering within the cave, "Ahh... wait, what is that?" He asked of Xarnith as he took a couple steps forward, a curious look on his face as he moved toward the sparkle, completely forgetting about whether or not it was safe. He was never one able to resist something sparkly after all, instead drawn to such things like a nondwa to a flame. "It's really pretty, Xarnith! I think it's some sort of crystal growing out of the rock!" He told the other man, nearly shaking with excitement as he approached.

Xarnith had been perfectly content for this walk to be normal. Uneventful and a way he could learn more about his friend. He smiled a little at the thought. Friend. That was a comforting feeling. To have a friend. Though he watched the smaller male with a mental sigh. This kid could use a few helping hands. And Xarn was called the dense one. He gave a small huff of ironic amusement before following the other to the mouth of the cave. Yeah...this sent off every warning bell. Before he could say anything there went Bisera...off to find the shiny thing. Xarn couldn't repress the soft sigh. "Bisera. Some caution would be greatly appreciated." It was times like this Xarn wanted a pet. He walked behind the other chuckling. He then twirled a small knife in his hand as he knelled down to pry out the stone. "Here." He looked up to see a few more glitters further in. "I think there might be more. Did you want to explore further?"

Bisera glanced back toward Xarnith as the other man mentioned that some caustion would be appreciated, "Huh? Oh! Yes... sorry about that, Xarnith." He said, turning back so that he could study the crystals once more. The structure of them was quite nice, they were fairly clear from the looks of them, and so pretty! Just look at that nice, deep blue color. It was almost like starring a bit of the night sky that had some how started to grow in this cave. How pretty! Much to the delight of the blond Xarnith set about prying the stones free from where they sat, his eyes going wide as he did so, "Thank you, Xarnith, you really are the best." He said, not having thought about how he was going to get the crystals free once he'd reached them. All he'd wanted was to get a good look at the pretty things. He was definitely going to have to use some of these 'night sky' crystals to make something nice for Xarnith. It seemed that the list of things that he wanted to make for his friend was growing by the day, huh? As though the ideas that he came up with were never ending, though it coould just be because Xarnith made a rather good canvas. "Really? There could be more?" He looked around the area, then gave anod, "If you think so... and I will attempt to be cautious like you suggested." At least until something else drew the entirety of Bisera's attention to it that was.

Xarnith chuckled as he stood up, offering a hand to help the other. He gazed into the cave debating if he should get a torch or not. He looked around then decided against it. He could use the training to hone his hearing. He looked down to Bisera. Wait...that wouldn't be fair to him. Xarnith bit his bottom lip as he thought. Then he blinked the crystals glowed slightly that his trained eyes could see further in. It was soft...most likely reflected light from some opening in the ceiling. Interesting. He wasn't the type of person that Bisera was but he glanced down... "I think we'll be fine without a manmade light. The crystals seem to have high reflective properties. Might be a good selling point if you make a few pieces out of them. I think it would be best to use this as a training method. In the past I use to willingly blindfold myself to hone my hearing. Care to test that out here?" he smiled part of him excited for the potential challenge. He winked at the other male. "I could teach you a few things while we're in there." He meant purely about picking out sounds and being able to gauge his distance from things.

"Highly reflective." Bisera murmured, looking the crystals over, taking in the manner in which seemed to almost glow in the low light of the cave. It was a good way to sell them, yes, though Bisera had yet to actually sell anything to this point. Flushing a bit he said, "I am not sure if I am ready for that... selling things I mean, I am still a novice after all." He really should try though, instead of giving all his pieces away, or else how was he going to fund this trip of his? He supposed that he could sell some of the materials he was gathering but at the same time he really didn't want to. Instead he wanted to keep them for himself so that he could work with the beautiful things he was finding. After a few steps into the cave he gave pause, lifting his gaze to look at another of the glowing crystal structures, "Oooo, that's a really nice one. Look at the size of those crystals! Though... they are up a little high." Walking toward them Bisera reached up toward them, jumping up and down a couple of times in an attempt reach them, before he gave a little sigh, "No luck." He was just too short to reach them. Xarnith was a bit taller though he wasn't sure if he'd be able to reach them either. Might mean that they would need to keep looking for different crystals and leave the higher up ones alone, though it was quite a shame. Turning to look toward where Xarnith stood he asked, "Huh? Teach me a few things?" He asked in a curious manner, wondering what he meant. Something to help them in their gathering of crystals? It might be something else though, something more akin to battle related things, like what his older brothers had wanted him to learn. He kind of hoped that wasn't the case though since he was far from being battle ready.

Xarnith smiled at the other. "Don't look so worried. Its meditative. Growing up I trained my hearing for those moments I wanted to be alone but didn't want to be taken by surprise." he walked into the cavern and inhaled slowly. "Mositure in the air...there's a underground river in here somewhere." he glanced behind him. Then looked up. Well. He could at lest help. He walked behind Bisera. Reaching up to grasp the rock. Feeling around it gingerly he hummed then reached up with the other arm, prying it out of the wall. "Here you go."

"Ohhh... meditative." He mused, impressed by the thought, as well as the fact that he was able to keep himself from being taken by surprise. Bisera turned his attention the area around them as he said, "I am... not good at that sort of thing, people are able to sneak up on me without even trying when I find myself lost in the creation of something. It could be a good thng for me to learn." Provided the lessons stuck that was. Watching as Xarnith reached up, able to get the crystals down that Bisera couldn't even reach, he couldn't help but to stare in awe, "Wow! You're amazing Xarnith!" He said in a happy manner, reaching out to take the pretty cluster from him, inspecting it closely, "It's so pretty! Imagine the beautiful things I can make out of such perfect crystals." He found himself starring into them, his mind racing, coming up with enough ideas for what he could make that it almost made him dizzy with glee just thinking about it. Relizing that he was starting to space off agian, something he shouldn't do in a dark, underground cave, he shook his head. "Ah! Shall we proceed?" He asked, tucking the crystals into his pack. Best that he didn't stare at it too long or else he might be mesmerized.

Xarnith could faintly make out Bisera's expression. The only word he could think of before taking the other's hand to guide him further in was: Cute. "Come on. Keep a hold of my hand, I won't let you fall." He meant it as a innocent gesture. It was...in his mind at least. He looked around as they walked, making sure to keep his footsteps small. Quiet. Not silent in case Bisera got scared or unnerved. The youth glanced back once then forward to allow his eyes to focus. Searching for that reflective light, he tilted his head slightly to gauge sound. The cave had its own life skittering around them so it was easy for Xarn to judge distances. He spotted a crystal then glanced back. "We're coming up to light...perhaps there's a gap in the wall further on." Wasn't there a cliff separating Matori from Sauti and Tale?

Bisera blinked a couple times, then nodded, holding tightly to Xarn's hand. It was something that turned out to be a rather good thing since there were a couple times when the young man nearly wantered off, only to be held back by Xarn. It meant that he didn't get lost in the mostly dark cave, though it also meant he wasn't able to wander over toward the things that he was seeing... or at least thought that he was seeing. He glanced toward Xarnith, then away again, scanning the area around them, "There are a lot of crystals but since we have some already we should probably look for those that are really big or really special, huh?" Or else he'd end up with a heavy pack full of shiny crystals. Whether the carrying about all that weight would be worth it would be the question, huh? Looking passed Xarnith and toward the the light, blinking a couple times, "A gap?" He asked, quickening his pace a little, "Do you know where the gap goes to?" Even if they weren't going to reach anywhere interesting at least they could spot crystals easier with all the light that was coming in through the gap.

Xarn blinked. "Not sure." Moving forward he blinked as it was a crack in the upper part of the wall. They were still in a tunnel path for the moment, but judging from the draft he felt Xarnith gauged that there was a room up ahead. Smirking he looked behind him to see a speckled crystal. Reaching back, he didn't let go of Bisera's hand as he easily pried the crystal off the wall. It was a fair size for the jeweler to make several small items out of it. The taller wind male looked back and offered it. "Here. Just spotted this. From the wind draft I'm feeling there's a room up ahead. We might find a small cluster of crystals in there. To avoid getting lost. I say we go back after entering the room. Who knows what is in here..." the thought of danger made the wind male sorta excited. He wanted to know how well he could move in a cavern. Though...he looked back to Bisera as he moved further in...He didn't want his friend to get hurt. The duo walked out into a large room. Something big once lived here for sure, Xarnith thought. The walls were smooth in some areas...most likely from the waterfall which poured down one wall, cut through the floor and spilled out of the.... Everything in Xarnith's mind froze as his eyes trailed to the missing chunk of rock wall to their right. Oh...oh crap. they were up high. He blinked a few times then looked away from the sight. Seeing a nice little rock bridge which would allow one to cross the small creek. He gulped flickering his eyes back to the drop. Oh this was not good.

"Oh, this one is neat." Bisera murmured, taking the speckled crystal in his hands, tilting it from side to side so that he could better inspect it. He knew that leaving Sauti was a good idea he thought to himself, were he still at home he'd never of seen such amazing crystals as those that this cave had to offer. He gave a smile as he tucked the crystal safely away into his pack before saying, "It's a really nice one, I will do my best to make something nice out of it." The same went for all the materials that he got, but somehow he wanted to work that much harder to make things out of the crystals that Xarnith worked so hard to get for him. Bisera tilted his head to the side, a curious look appearing on his face, "A draft?" He asked, wondering what they were going to find in teh room ahead. Xarnith suggested they might find more crystal cluters, which Bisera was all for, but what else? Upon reaching the room he was instantly searching around... and his eyes seemed to find the hole in the wall that led to... somewhere. The sound of the wind suggested that they were up high, making him that much more curious. Turning to look at Xarnith he was about to ask if he wanted to go see what was out there... but the question never out. Instead he found himself starring at the other man who seemed a little... on edge? Did he not want to go see? It might be something interesting though. Bisera shifted from foot to foot for a moment before he gave Xarnith's hand a squeeze, "It will be alright." He said before he released his hand, walking toward the opening in the rock, curious as to what might passed it. He wanted to peek out real quick, then he'd return to the crystal hunt. At least that was the plan until he realized exactly how high up the other side of the cave was. It seemed as though the caves led straight through to a sheer cliff face on the otherside. There would be no going that way, meaning that they would definitely need to turn back like Xarnith had suggested they do.

Xarnith let the other male walk away letting out a strangled sort of sound. "J-just be careful! That cliff edge supposedly lines Matori. The only way in is through Oba...which is why they were enslaved from what I was told." he shivered then spotted a cluster. Not one of the crystals in it was the same as the other. Looking back to Bisera he inched closer before grabbing the smaller male quickly around the waist. "Okay and we're getting away from the edge before something happens!" he explained walking across the rock bridge to the cluster. "And over here to the nice cluster of mismatched crystals." he shuddered as he set Bisera back down on his own feet.

Bisera was scooting closer to the edge, eyes wide, trying to get a better look through the hole in the wall and what was outside... when suddenly Xarnith caught hold of him around the waist and pulled him away. It was something that surprised him since it was unexpected, drawing a bit of a squeak from the smaller male, before he looked back at Xarnith, "Xanirth?" He murmured, as he watched him for a moment as he was carried away from the edge to 'safety', before Xarnith did his best to distract Bisera with the existence of some speckled crystals. His attention turned to where they were located then back again as he was put back on his feet, free of Xarnith's hold though it still lingered where the man's arm had held him. He blinked a couple times, flushing a bit, then looked at the crystals once more and said, "We can go and look at the crystals if you want, Xarnith." It was clear that he didn't want to be anywhere near the edge and he didn't want Bisera there either. He should trust his opinion of ow dangerous it was, huh? He wouldn't have gone as far as to carry Bisera away from the edge if Xarnith didn't think it extremely dangerous after all, right?

Xarnith nodded before stepping up beside Bisera. Feeling a small round of panic set in he let his forehead drop to the smaller male's shoulder. "S-sorry...I...I'm not a fan of heights. That drop...doesn't sit well with me at all." He was told once it took courage to admit you were scared or unsure. Well, now was one of those times. He shivered a little. Then moved so that his temple was still on Bisera's shoulder so he could look at the crystals. "Hey...that blue one looks interesting." It matched Bisera in the guard's mind.

Lifting a hand up Bisera stroked it gently against Xarnith's hair when the warrior's head came to rest on his shoulders. It seemed as though the drop off had really effected the poor guy more then even Bisera had suspected since he seemed to be quite shaken. It made him want nothing more then to make him feel better, safer, and no longer afraid, "It's going to be alright, we will move away from the heights, and go somewhere safer and flatter." He told him, giving him a gentle smile. "Huh? Blue?" He followed Xarn's gaze before giving a smile, "It looks pretty. Are you sure that you want to keep searching for crystals? We can always head back outside the cave if you would prefer." He murmured, though his eyes were locked on the blue crystals. He was interested in them, finding them to be quite lovely... but he was willing to leave them behind if it meant getting Xarnith to where he would be more comfortable for him. His friend was more important to him then some random crystals were.
