User ImageName: Aislyn Síoda

Nickname: Ash ( Only Jeanne Boucher calls her this, and is the only one who dares )

Age: 18 19

Birthday: December 12

Sign: Sagittarius

Gemstone: Blue Topaz

Blood Type: O

Fav. Food: Caramelized Scallops

Hated Food: Mc. Rib Sandwich

School: Crystal Academy DCU

Hobbies:
Ballet || Aislyn has been in ballet sense she was a small girl, and even at a young age, she took it very seriously. When other young girls were hopping around and giggling, Ash was working on her carriage and dreaming of the days she would be old enough to dance on pointe. As she grew into her teen years, she was eternally gratefull that her body type proved to be one ideal for ballet. Naturally lithe and slender, without being gaunt, with strong joints, she started pointe work at age nine ( Her dance instructor would not let her start any earlier due to the health risks to soft bones )

She attends formal ballet class four times a week, but practices in her home almost every day when circumstances allow. Still in highschool, she is not considered a professional ballerina, as her parents deem that her studies should be her main focus until she graduates, but she does perform with a local dance troop, but can-not sign on until she graduates and hits her 18th birthday.

This hobby, this passion, takes up a good deal of her life and time, and is something that she can be particularly ruthless when it comes to defending it. While she is cordial with most other ballerinas, and they refer to each other as friends, its not unknown for the dancers ( herself included ) to be cutthroat when it comes to dealing with each other.

Classical Music ||
Aislyn herself does not play any particular instrument, though her mother is a wonderful piano player, she does enjoy immersing herself in classical music. Dancing to it, letting it play in the car when she is on the road, even playing softly in her room when she is sleeping. It is her music of choice, not that she disapproves of other music ( most of the time ) she just prefers the works of the old masters. Opera and Instrumental concerts are several things she is known to frequent, mostly with her parents, but more and more so on her own as she grows older.

Equestrianism ||
When her family moved to destiny city, they also brought their two horses, which are housed at the destiny city stables. One horse is hers, the other her mothers. Bonding with her horse has been an outlet for her, and is probably one of the few places were she is truly relaxed, and even willingly interacts with other people. ( While she would be just as happy riding alone, horses are social creatures so she ends up often meeting people she would otherwise not necessarily talk to. ) Unlike other girls who come from the same financial background as her, Aislyn takes every opportunity to take care of her horse herself. She grooms and takes care of her stallion any time she is available, not afraid to get a little bit dirty, and not afraid to show others how to care for their animals if they ask for it. ( Ash feels if you cant take care of your animal, then you shouldn't have one, and shes not afraid to tell you so )

Archery || What started off as a class at her elementary school, eventually became a full blown hobby. Her family even has a small two target archery range on the house grounds, but she prefers to practice at the public range. Her competitive nature really takes over, and she loves to enter in competitions ( even though she is not the best, and rarely gets into the higher levels ) it only pushes her to try harder and get better.

Virtues:
Determined || Aislyn is a hard worker and not one to be discouraged by momentary setbacks. She takes failure as a sign that she needs to work harder, and knows that there is no sweeter victory than a job well done. Once she sets a goal, she does everything in her power to see it accomplished. She is great at seeing projects through from start to finish and is not the sort to do things by half measures.

Steadfast || Aislyn knows her core values and she sticks to them. Once she makes up her mind, it's very hard to get her to change it - but she'll never be accused of being a flip-flopper. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and defend her point of view, even if her point of view might make her unpopular. Aislyn sticks to her guns and and does what she thinks is right, not what peer pressure says to do.

Composed || Aislyn is cool under fire, able to keep a calm head where others might be pushed to emotional extremes. She is good at staying calm and rational, even in heated situations, and using her position of rationality to find solutions. (She has an excellent poker face.)

Flaws:
Aloof || Aislyn seldom seeks to make friends, preferring to spend her time devoted to solitary pursuits. Even in social situations, she is not forthcoming about personal details and makes no more than the minimum effort required to participate. She considers most of her peers with a slight sense of distaste - they are so petty and so not worth her time.

Self-destructive || Aislyn pushes herself hard - too hard, in some cases. She has a habit of practicing until she's too sore to move and spreading herself too thin, devoting every single second of time to an activity and not leaving enough time to herself to unwind. She is the definition of burning the candle at both ends, and when she crashes, she crashes hard.

Competitive || Aislyn wants to be the best she can be - and she can't stand the idea that anyone else is better than her! When it comes to grades, dancing, or anything else she's being compared to other people, Aislyn works tirelessly to come out on top. She doesn't have friends, she has rivals - and she's certainly not doing anyone any favors.

Attacks:

Sailor Scout Attack:
Conqueror's Shot
Hippolyta draws her arm back like she is aiming a bow and arrow. A bow of light, and an arrow appear. When she lets the "arrow" fire, whoever she had her sights on is who the arrow will go after. The arrow is sort of a target seeker as it were, and will follow the target as long as Hippolyta has her eyes locked on the target. If her eyes leave the large it will continue forward untill hitting something. On contact with target there is a small explosion. The explosion will be made primarily out of light and pressure. No singed or exploded limbs would take result from, but the force exuded on the enemy would knock them back, potentially barrel them over or into things with a rather unpleasant force.

Visual Reference

Arrows can only adjust trajectory once.
Can be used twice a battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack:
Conqueror's Burst
Hippolyta draws her arm back like she is aiming a bow and arrow. A bow of light, and an three arrows of light appear, floating but not actually in her touch. after sighting three targets, she lets the arrows fly, and they will continue on their course after their target as long as they star within Hipp's field of vision. On contact with target there is a small explosion. The explosion will be made primarily out of light and pressure. No singed or exploded limbs would take result from, but the force exuded on the enemy would knock them back, potentially barrel them over or into things with a rather unpleasant force.

Visual Reference

If there are less than three targets, the arrows will double / triple up on the chosen target.

Arrows can only adjust trajectory once.
Can be used twice a battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack:
Fall of the Conquered
AoE: Hippolyta announces the attack, which causes the gems in her tiara and brooch, and fuku to glow. Any opponents within 8 feet in any direction in her will be compelled to take a knee in genuflection.

If she moves, the AOE follows her, if she moves out of range the opponents previously under effect will be able to rise immediately.

The attack lasts for 40 seconds.

First stages would nearly be bowled over.

Second stages would be able to make sort of knee shuffle walk out of the effected area with extreme concentration.

Characters of the same rank can fight the urge to kneel, but it would require all concentration to stand and get out. Think almost like the scenes in old DBZ when they are
gravity training.

Fourth stages, would be able to stand with minor concentration, but it would be rather irritating to deal with, think this scene from futurama.

Quote:

You're walking home in the dark and soon hear the sound of footsteps following behind you. Every time you turn around, nothing is there. If you try to quicken your pace, the footsteps start running right along with you. No matter how you try to see behind you--if you use your phone camera or if you look in window reflections, you can't see anything...but you know it's getting closer. If you don't run fast enough, you can almost feel a hand on your arm, a breath on your neck...

You need to get home, fast.

If you can.

Practice had run late, which was not an uncommon occurrence, but as fall slowly took over that now meant that more often than not it was dark when she was walking home. She did technically have a car, but she was not very comfortable driving ( To be honest she would much rather have someone drive her places, that sounded quite pleasant ) so she preferred the extra exercise of strolling home. It wasn't an uncomfortable distance, but this particular practice had taken its toll, so she found herself walking slower than normal.

She walked through a little shopping area that was shutting down for the evening, and considered getting a tea for the walk home. Autumn had made the air crisp, and it sounded lovely. There were people on the street, so when she felt like she was being watched, she brushed it off. She ordered her tea from a little café that was getting ready to close its doors, but more that happy to make one more money for pouring hot water, and she cupped her hands around the paper cup as she made her way back to the street. The feeling of being watched still loomed over her, but she swore she heard steps on the stones of the sidewalk behind her. She narrowed her eyes and glanced in the shop window to see what creep was following her, without being to obvious.... Nothing?

Her steps did not falter but she wondered if maybe she had been mistaken? That seemed unlikely… she could clearly hear someone walking close to her… close that they should be on her heels. Maybe it was a trick of the way the buildings were laid out, but it was still uncomfortable, and she had been taught to trust her instincts when it came to feeling like something was wrong.

Sighing internally she took a sip of her tea and urged her tired legs to quicken their stride, not running, but enough to put some distance between her and whoever was with her. To anyone glancing at her it would appear just as if she were strolling briskly, in a bit of a hurry to be ontime. Only, to her annoyance, she heard the click of shoes behind her quicken in time with hers.

She put on her best “ You are extremely irritating” b***h face on and glanced over her shoulder. Only to be met with again… Nothing? That should not be the case. The footsteps had stopped when she had turned. She glared at the empty street, and tossed her half drank tea into a trash can, digging her hands into her pockets and gripping her keys in a full wolverine grip incase some creep came up to her. She dug her phone out of her pocket and glanced at it… curses. Almost dead. She needed to remember to plug it in if she was going to use it to play her soundtracks at practice. She queued up 911 just in case, but casting one more glance around she turned and took off at a hefty pace, her legs burning from practice suddenly not giving a s**t if they were truly tired. Some a*****e wanted to mess with her she would make them have to work for it.

The footsteps behind her picked up, matching her pace. This continued for the few blocks till she reached her home, at which point she was practically running. She turned and slammed the gate behind her door shut behind her, glaring violet eyes at the empty street behind her… the fets had followed her all the way, but yet there was still no one there she could spot. She felt confident and safe in her home, so she grumpily headed up to the front door, slamming the deadbolt shut behind her and plugging her phone into the charger.

What a Creep… Well, joke was on him, her home had a great home security system. Someone so much as loitered in front of her house to long the police would be there..

You're home alone, minding your own business, when you hear the distinct sounds of doors closing and footsteps moving around the house. Upon investigation (should you choose to), you find nothing out of sorts…but the footsteps and doors continue to make noise every time you give up the search. This happens all night, and you can almost swear you see things out of the corner of your eye. It's a restless night, but come morning everything seems back to normal--except, you still have no idea what was going on.

So… her parents were out for a social function? That was just fine for her, she loved her family but she valued her solitude and treasured moments when she had her home to herself. Her family did have a second home that was outside of the city, but she prefered the urban life during the winter. Being in close proximity to culture was something she enjoyed. She tossed her keys into the little crystal dish where they lived, throwing scarfs and boots onto the little bench. She was usually more tidy than that, but after the strange person following her home this one time she would utilize the fact that they had a maid and let her put them away in the morning.

She went to the kitchen, seeing a silver dish covered keeping her dinner out of the open air, and she smiled, heating it up and seeing what had been prepared for her. Her mother, bless her heart, still tried her best to cook for her family even though she was a god awful cook. Still, Ash would try whatever her mother had made. She put it in the microwaved and poked the button, pausing when she swore she heard the front door shut from the entry way. She tilted her head… the note said they wouldn't be home until early morning. Maybe the event had been cancelled? She watched the numbers count down on the microwave. She could hear footsteps but no talking. Usually her parents were very chatty people. Maybe they were fighting again? Hopefully not, she was just getting over her fowl mood. She waiting for them to come around the counter. The microwave button shrieked at her, and she furrowed her brows. She left the dish in the microwave and went to look at the front door to find it shut.

No new shoes, hats, scarves, anything of the sort hung from the pegs. Maybe she was just hearing things? For a second her heart slammed in her chest. Had that person followed her home? She looked at the alarm, and it showed that the front door had not been open since she came home… and she breathed a quiet sigh of relief. Only to hear someone open the microwave, the sound of footsteps on the shining tile of the kitchen.

She picked up a heavy bust of a horse from one of the little art displays in their entry way, and gripped it, holding it up near her shoulder ready to brain someone without hesitation.

What the hell was she doing? She should call the police. But her phone was on the charger which would put her in line of sight of the kitchen, so whoever was in there would be able to see her picking it up to call the police. She hit the little silent emergency alarm on her security panel and then creeped towards the kitchen… She jumped around the corner holding the bust up ready to swing. Only to see nothing.

What the ******** was going on?

She flinched as she heard a door slam shut from the other side of the downstairs. She heard the sounds of shoes hitting the ground and someone ran from one section to another of the house. They were clearly downstairs…. She swallowed her heart out of her throat, and bolted for her cellphone, intending to run for the front door but she heard more footsteps on the stones outside the front door. She swore she saw someone through the frosted glass panels on either side of the door, and did what she hated when she saw in movies…. She grabbed her phone and ran upstairs. She had not heard any sounds from upstairs so she shoved her phone in her pocket, held her hose statuette, brain bludgeoning ready, and bolted to her room. She locked the doors, the windows, turned off the light, went into the bathroom attached to the bedroom, turned off the light and hunkered down in the corner. She looked at her phone and cursed. It had barely been on the charger for 10 minutes, so it was still basically dead.

She tried to call the police but for some reason the 911 line was backed up due to an unusually high number of callers. What the hell? She waited and just as an operator picked up the line her phone died. She hunkered in the corner of her bathroom, in the dark, holding a stone horse head and waited for the police to arrive from her silent alarm. It look what felt like a thousand years. When they got there they could find no signs of an intruder, no signs anyone else was in the house, no section of their security alarm had gone off… they clearly were chalking this up to her being home alone on a cold dark night and probably watching a scary movie.

An unfortunate side effect of the silent alarm was that her parents were both notified that the alarm had been tripped, and they had come rushing home. Her mother was now convinced she needed to be medicated. Her father started to propose that maybe he cut down on the intense workouts and practices, because she was clearly exhausted, only to be shut down by a murderous glance from her mother. Her mother had been a dancer and had to quit because she had gotten pregnant, and then settled into a life of wine and social events, and so was living her dream through her daughter.

All and all her mother gave her what she assumed was some of her xanax or something, and got some sleep. She woke up a few times during the night, one time flinging her door open only to startle her father who was walking to his office with a glass of brandy. The second time she had done so there was nothing there but the sounds stopped as soon as she opened the door. She shut and locked her door, settling down for an uneasy medicated sleep, swearing that even after her parents went to sleep she could hear footsteps all through the house until dawn.

It had been a long few days. Aislyn flopped down on her bed and let her head fall to the side, gazing at the things she had gathered that represented her life. Knowing what she knew now, it all seemed so superficial. There was a war going on. She was a Warrior. Or at least she was supposed to be. She didn't feel like it though. She would have to fix that. She took in a deep breath, her eyes sliding across the room, her vanity, her dresser filled with cloths, her other dresser and second closet filled with dance supplies, outfits, equipment. A lovely carved but scarce bookshelf filled with keepsakes. That shelf looked so very empty, that for a moment she felt her chest tighten in something that was very close to pain.

She felt her face settle into familiar determined lines and she sat up. She looked at her watch. It was late, but not to late. She stood up, stalked over to her purse, snatched it from the chair where she had dropped it, and stalked out of the house. Her parents barely even blinked an eye as she left the house, barely an hour after coming home. You would think with after her recent break down they would be more concerned, but her mother has put the stamp of "it happens to everyone once in a while" on it and brushed aside any of her fathers concern, and he dare not say anything that upset his wife, so he settled back down into the role of loving but checked out father.

She returned home some hours later. She had made it to the store and back again, She had technically gotten there right before closing, but something in her facial [removed]( And the amount of items she had chosen to purchase ) kept them from saying anything. She got everything she needed, some things she thought she needed, some things she probably didn't need.

She unloaded her haul, carefully arranging the items in what she thought would be a pleasing manner. The largest, most fluffy cat bed she could find, a soft sleepy blue with little stars and moons on them. An assortment of cat toys. Even some catnip. She hoped he wouldn't be insulted, she wasn't sure where the line between normal cat and guardian cat was drawn. She also put a new coffee mug and a sampler box of tea on the bookshelf. She had no idea if he liked tea... but he kinda looked like a librarian when he was human... so she figured that he probably did. Not to judge, but he was a shape shifting space cat. She was walking on virgin territory here.

She looked at her little setup, in-case Arthur ever wanted to stop by he would feel comfortable and at home. It felt like a start, a beginning of a new chapter in her life. It was late, or she felt like it was, when she curled up in her bed, her eyes slowly closing shut as she drifted off to sleep, the last thing she looked at being the sparkling of the embroidery on the high end cat bed, a glimmer of gold thread on a crescent moon.
