Another day, another lesson ignored. It had gotten to the point where Rajna's teacher's just ignored the fact she was always plugged in. There had been a group assignment again in Social Studies, and once again Rajna had found herself picked last. With no friends to poke and prod her back to reality, and with her teacher's fed up with her always being so involved with her tech, she often found herself in this sort of situation.
The Chimera lifted her hands to pull down one side of her headphones around her neck to hear what was going on as she noticed that the class was emptying out around her. Rajna blinked lucidly, not realizing it was that time of the day and just assumed it was time to go. But as she gathered her things the teacher approached her, not exactly thrilled about her tuning out the lesson once again.
"Hmmn?" was all Rajna could offer in response to the teacher's rambling. The teacher just sighed and gestured to someone across the room still siting at their desk. Once again, Rajna blinked, pulling down the other side of her headset so her music and friends chatting in her ears didn't distract from anything she might need to absorb.
When the teacher reminded her the student across the way was her partner, Rajna let out a small "Oh." and finished gathering up the rest of her gear before approaching the fallen boy several rows over from her.
"Hello." Rajna spoke up with a soft, raspy voice, as if not one to speak often. "The teach said that I'm your partner ... but ... I don't really know what we're partners for." the girl offered an apologetic smile. "I'm Rajna, though ... so that I'm not a complete stranger. I hope we work well together."
Rajna extended her hand, one arm still clutching her laptop to her chest, all her wires sticking out all over the place, tangled in a giant heap. "It's nice to meet you ... "

Sorry it's s**t, but it's hard to set stuff up when you need to NPC a teacher that isn't yours BD So I had to make it ambiguous!
