But I think actions are more substantial,
For when I think of you, my friend,
A picture couldn't hold a candle.
In times where I have been scared and doubted,
You were there with wisdom strong,
Making sure that I knew, for better or worse,
That I was not alone.
Your words have made such a difference,
In my life and in many others,
And I want you to remember, always,
That you're someone beloved and cherished.
Thank you for everything you've done,
From critique to emotional support,
You've gone above and beyond the call of duty,
Please never change how wonderful you are.
